Given it took a huge deflection that changed it's direction, how's that not an own goal? It can't be enough that it's generally going in the direction of the goal is it? Not playing FF so it doesn't make a difference, I'm just genuinely curious.

      Think OG has been awarded

    2. F4L

i guess they've deemed it as a deliberate play on the ball where Schar was in control ie like a clearance

      for now anyways

it's always been that if I shot looks to be going on target then it's the shooter's goal, even if it was a tame daisy cutter the goalie would have had covered

Yeah, this normally applies to shots on target that take a deflection. Seemingly it’s deemed as a play on the ball from Schar i.e. he kicked it himself

      3 already lol

anything less than 9 should be a disappointment for owners given scotland will just hoof the ball up the pitch now

Rodriguez is so bad now I didn't have a second thought to putting him in despite him being an international FF mainstay since 2014

Shaqiri scores only when you transfer him out.

Is Limitless wise for MD3, or could the big teams, having won 2 already, start to rotate and rest the big names?

Perhaps Quarter Finals round is the best time, as still 8 teams in it, and all will field full strength teams?

    1. FPL Blow-In

The obvious issue with using the limitless chip in the knockout stages is that your team reverts and you lose your transfers.

Would that be fixed with playing Wildcard then the following round/week, I.e. Semis round?

If you kept the WC, yes. Free WC round of 16 followed by LL in the quarters and WC in semis is a viable tactic. Again, argument against this is that you WC will be 85% identical to other teams at the semis with everyone having the same players. You’d be hoping that the LL in the quarters for you big gains

      Counter argument, is that MD3 has some very saucy fixtures that could produce high scoring games;

      - Spain v Albania
      - France v Poland
      - England v Slovenia
      - Portugal v Georgia

Yes but Team sheets could be unpredictable

    3. dirtmcgirt

limitless semi if you still have WC, semi without. 6 changes for the final should be enough to mitigate against reverting back to a quarter final squad.

Lol, Akanji stacking up on those recovered balls like no tomorrow when Scotland punt it long.
You'd think he actually made some tackles to win back possession 🙂

what do they even consider a ball recovery. Apparently akanji has done 5 of them without me noticing

I think the Scotland G was given as OG because the ball was going straight in the arms of Sommer if Schar didn't (stupidly) try and block it.

OPTA credited goal to McTominay so presumably he will be confirmed as goal scorer
