Fair enough just worried that there will be so much information to be gained after GW2 with the transfer window still open. By GW4 you might want a completely different team.

Possible. But wc saves a transfer this season 😉
Will have 3 FT for that

              WC doesn't save a transfer. You'll have 2 FT in GW4.

He will get 60s and 30s imo but sort of player who can do damage in short bursts. Injury prone is more the issue

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Great player but never been reliable for FPL. Seem to remember was always injured even at Wolves.

Got him to start with preseason form, minutes and GW1 fixture, but expecting to move him on as Liverpool competition and rotation increases.

      A) Haaland and Jota, or B) Salah and Son.

In answer to Bobb, I've seen a few people say that they consensus between Liverpool supporters is that Jota will likely start as the 9 this season. He'll probably be prone to rotation after a while though. So he's definitely worth considering as I'm doing myself.

Bench fodder 4.5 for one of the three slots, and then Muniz and Isak in the other two. Conversely I'd have a non playable fifth mid if I went the Haaland and Jota route.

Jota’s probably one of the most explosive players in the game & not getting in on him can hurt.
If he nails a space he’s defo going to be template.

      Wonder on some spots

      Fabianski/Turner

      Harwood-Bellis, Livramento, Andersen, Barco, Gvardiol
      Kudus, Rogers, Salah, Gordon, Eze
      Jesus, Haaland, Isak

I wonder mainly for Livramento and Jesus

May Jesus for Solanke and some replacement for Livramento?

You might want to hold onto Jesus, having an excellent Preseason, he looks nailed to start and assures of goals and assist. Livramento or Hall...good options for the newcastle defence.

        4.5 keeper slot
        Trent Muñoz 4.5 def slot
Salah Eze Nkunku 5.5 mid slot
        Haaland Isak Solanke

Could even get rid of Trent if Barco is playing and just get Saka over Eze if I wanna play risky.

      Henderson

Murphy to ESR for gameweek too

Hall has piqued my interest as the other 4.5m def with Robinson.

I think Howe is comfortable with Hall understanding what is expected at LB. I think he is irst choice LB, of course there is some doubts with Burn but might be willing to roll the dice on that pick.

Some good analysis on Hall v Livramento in the friendly yesterday.

Hall has looked great in preseason, more assured and attacking than Livra at RB, in my opinion at least. I think if Jamal Lewis plays as LB in the friendly today, then Hall is probably nailed for GW1 at least. After that it could be a bit unclear if Trippier stays and Guehi joins. Also who knows what's going on with Targett, who I'm assuming they want to sell as soon as he's fit.

        1. Tonyawesome69
          • 7 Years

Who else other than Jamal Lewis would play LB today? Kelly? Burn played LCB yesterday.

Lewis (who won't start in the league), maybe Kelly, or Targett if for enough.

I'd guess the backline today is Trippier, Schar, Kelly and Lewis, which would point to a start in GW1 for Hall.

Shows how well they've priced players this year. Could easily make a case for either

I'd go ESR, Minteh, or Murphy over CHO personally.

Is Murphy 100% gonna start? If so yeah he seems a much better pick actually

No Haaland and still have Flekken 🙁

Not decided on which 4.5 keeper yet so Flekken is just a placeholder currently. But he makes a lot of saves which is appealing. Who would you suggest instead

Pool got a few games I’d be waiting Bradley/Tsimi could be in & Jota/Gordon better than Cho

Start or sub is the question

I'm still not convinced. Assume he won't join up with the squad until Monday. One week of training might be enough to start GW1 but at least Ange gives us something in his presser I'd still be worried about a sub appearance. That said 30 mins off the bench against Leicester could be enough.

If my memory is correct they signed VDV 3 days before the start of last season and he played straight away

Correct, Ange gets them in asap

Not necessarily the same though. They were desperate at CB so threw VDV straight in. Right now they have an in form Kulusevski playing up top so may not feel the need to start Dom right away.

Kulu F9 is not how Ange will want to play. If Solanke is ready, I expect him ro start. Ticks all the boxes required for Angeball imo

Why shouldn’t he? See link from Tonyawesome above. Just for Solanke to slot into the well known Kane role. Solanke will be Spurs’ best option to start in that position, and they wish to get a good start. And introduce him to the fans.

          I don’t know
          Maybe needs time to adjust?
          It’s likely he starts tbh

There's no Kane role in Angeball setup. Kane did not play with high intensity or aggressively press from the front

I don’t follow Chelsea much. Can someone explain the Nkuku love? Is this backed up by recent form?

Also, lots more seem to be drifting from Palmer to Som lately. What’s the reason for this?

Best combo out of these please:
      A) Bobb, Murphy, Haaland, J Pedro
      B) Eze, Gordon, Watkins, Solanke

      Cheers.
