Watch out for the troll this weekend.

    Diaz - Darwin - Chiesa

Not sure tbh ; last two line ups now have totally eroded my faith in Slot. Absolutely insane to be playing the same 11 over all these weeks when you've got that bench. That he didn't start Nunez on Saturday or tonight is completely bizarre.

Why? Nunez is no good. He played his best 11, whats wrong with that.

Off an international break with tired players he had more than enough to beat Forest. Nunez over Jota was a no brainer.

            No sorry don't agree.

They obviously didn't have enough to beat Forest as they lost.

Well that's the point. They lost because he played a bunch of tired players when he had ample fresh legs he could've started.

Too much is made of 'tired legs'. The season is about a month old, ok so one or two had lengthy flights but they're fit athletes in the prime of their lives.

To me you play your best team whenever you can, the Liverpool front 3 pick themselves imo.

Don't rate Gakpo particularly, Nunez is like a poor Lukaku (and thats poor) and Chiesa has only just got there.

If I was a fan of that particular club I'd think he picked the right team.

Knowing you have to go to Milan and play a better team on Tuesday ; you rest the players you can. Tsmikas, Nunez, Bradley all more than capable of stepping into the team among others ; would have offered more threat (as indeed Nunez did when he came on).

The most important game is the one right now, so on Sat that was Forest.

You can't manage a game with 72 hours ahead in mind, its one of my pet hates.

Win this game, see where you are in 72 hours time.

Bradley came on and was apparently troubled by Hudson Odoi, Tsimikas is no Robertson and Nunez just is not a Liverpool player.

I didn't see any particular 'rotating' from other clubs, difference is City, Arsenal won so nothing is said.

He picked the right team. The best team.

They lost, clearly not. They looked tired, the played tired. If you had watched the game you would have seen.

That is such hindsight thinking. None of the front three had done anything to be dropped.

Team lose = “team selection should’ve been different and that was obvious”

Its not hindsight ; I was staggered when I saw the line up. Or did nobody tell Slot he had another game on Tuesday in Milan. Salah, Jota and Diaz all had major games over the IB.

But he has rotated Diaz tonight and think it’s likely Jota rotates at the weekend.

“Absolutely insane to play the same 11” that had won every game without conceding is an awful take.

Certainly an argument for rotation but “absolutely insane” is categorically revisionist

Not really ; called it when the team sheet came out. Nunez on two weeks rest against Forest . . . no brainer.

I love Nunez (Liverpool fan) but I still maintain there was no reason to change it.

My contention isn’t that changing it would’ve been wrong. My contention is describing maintaining a winning team as “absolutely insane” is nonsense

History repeats! Just remember I had 5m Leon Bailly two years ago

I got to the point where it was less painful him scoring whilst not in my team, compared with not scoring whilst in my 11

I think Rogers should become our 8th attacker. If he blanks then no real loss (maybe .5), if he scores then we've got ourselves solid bench cover

    Quick rule of thumb.

If Rashford is terrible, its the manager who is making him lose his confidence.

If he plays well its all his own work.

The bias of the media is insane.
