    RMWC:

    Fabianski, Sanchez
    Timber, Hall, AWB, Gomez, Kerkez
    Saka, KDB, Enzo, Salah, Palmer
    J. Pedro, Evanilson, Wood

    0,9 ITB.

      KDB is an interesting differential!

Personally would drop KDB down and upgrade Pedro who I have but wouldn’t pick on a WC

I actually regret bringing in JP, he's so far away from the box most of the time and barely gets shots on target.

He's done well since coming back from injury though. Obviously not many will have had him for his haul against city, but over 6 points per game on average since then, not too bad for his price I suppose

      I'd pick Onana over Sanchez.

      Wouldn't go AWB.

KDB is great on his day but is a luxury pick as he's not fully fit and you'll have to be patient to get his hauls.

Why do people put themselves in this situation with their teams? Just have some 8th attacker like Amad or Enzo...

      That said, Mbeumo.

Just a tough week with all the main budget options having favourable fixtures - I mean, you’d even want to play Enzo ideally. And rotation could make the decision irrelevant anyway

      I would probably bench Lewis.

I know past form doesn't necessarily mean it will continue, but a string of 0's and 1's isn't pretty!

He's in my team but likely to go in the next couple of weeks

Lewis will start with Ake,Akanji and Stones out so I'd start him. Also Konsa has the easiest fixture of the season, so I'd bench Nouri

Hi all, here's my defence and midfield

    Gabriel Aina Lewis RAN Greaves
    Salah Saka Palmer Bruno Johnson

0itb but for me Bruno and Johnson both on the chopping block.

    1) Gamble on KDB
    2) Get in Trent/Virgil/both (would probably involve a hit)
    3) Hold and assess after this week?

    1. JBG
      • 7 Years
      12 months, 4 days ago

I'd get Johnson out first. Bruno can have a pretty good match vs NFO this GW, considering he's most likely back in his fav position.

      1. KeanosMagic
        • 3 Years
        12 months, 4 days ago

Have there been any quotes around his positioning? For 8m+ it's frustrating I don't know where he'll be playing, or if Amorim even knows where he wants to play him!

        1. JBG
          • 7 Years
          12 months, 4 days ago

I really think it's opposition based. Amorim wants a player that can make the team tick from deep and have some energy, which was Bruno vs Arsenal. Mainoo was suspended as well, so that probably effected Amorims choice.

Was feeling good going into the last GW and now not so sure. Currently have 1FT and 0.7ITB so was planning was to bring Odegarde in next week for free for Mbeumo by losing RAN:

    Fabianski
    Gabriel Gomez O'Shea
    Salah Palmer Rogers Saka
    Jackon Cunha Welbeck

    Flekken Mbuemo RAN Van Hecke

    a) Stick with the plan
    b) Put out a different fire

I'm in the same boat. It's being an utterly dire season for me, but finally a good week, rising from 2.0m to 1.3m, and shooting up my mini leagues, thanks to Captain Salah and Saliba.

Also saving the FT this week.

I would play Rogers in your shoes.

Yes, my worst season (this is my 18th season). Mind you, I'm getting worse each season. Long gone are the days where I finish in the top 10k. I haven't rolled with the times in terms of all the XGI stuff. And I don't really keep spreadsheets these days. But then I'm also less upset if I have a bad GW. It's also quite fun chasing mini leagues rather than leading.

Considering Haaland's fixtures turn in GW 18, would it be wise to include him on a GW18 WC team along with Salah? will have to go cheap at the back, but feel like Haaland with those fixtures could be amazing differential captain?

Salah wont maintain this form the rest of the season, he's getting 10+pts every week, literally impossible to continue for the rest of the season. Yes he is inform currently, but I think this will regress like it did with Haaland.

Picks for this period have to be made for the entire stretch of games. Trying to guess which players will get rested in a specific game week and chopping and changing week to week is just doomed to fail. Im pretty happy with Jackson in my team. Everton V Liverpool might get affected by very strong wind... so keep a look out for that.

On Salah myself, atm. But that info makes me kinda nervous, also... Gandhi.

Yes, I'm curious to see what impact it has. Would there be a risk of any matches being cancelled? If they go ahead, then I'd assume that there's not going to be many high balls being played.

I doubt it's that bad to call off

I thought it was a yellow warning

I'm sure we had wind without naming storms before

Maybe it's worse in the NW later on.

Affected in what way though? The team that like to keep it on the ground would be more suited to windy conditions, no?

      It's a good call

I fancy Arsenal at Fulham more so than Liverpool at Everton in that lunchtime Saturday slot in a windy, wet and fiery encounter!

    TAA or Timber for -4?

    Raya
    Aina Hall Konate
    Salah Palmer Rogers Mbeumo ESR
    Evanilson Pedro Haaland

The plan is Haaland, ESR, Konate to Isak, Saka, TAA/Timber

For me, it wouldn't make sense for it to be anything from A to D, or else why hide it 'til the half-way point?

I'm thinking it's something more outside the box... e.g. apart from a second WC, you can choose a duplicate of any of the other existing chips, whichever best suits your team. (Extra BB, FH or TC).

C - Double points for ALL your defender's , including goalkeepers.
It's a good one to force us away from that "unused" 3rd sub (Which is usually the cheapest of defenders) and goalkeeper.

    Fabianski
    Gabriel Digne RAN
    Saka Bruno Salah Palmer Rogers
    Isak Cunha

Subs - Verbruggen, Pedro, Hall, Harwood Bellis

    a) G2G
    b) Gabriel -> Saliba/Timber/Another
    c) Play Pedro, bench Rogers/Cunha
    d) Play Verbruggen instead of Fab

For me I'd consider Pedro and bench rogers, and play Verbruggen as otherwise you have Cunha vs Fab
