Would you do Raya to Sels/Pickford this week to free up cash for Gab to Trent next week?

Yes I hear that. Ipswich and then the double is tempting to get Trent though and hope Bradley gets a run in the cup

Hi guys if you could only make 1 transfer for this team what would it be? Just 0.2 itb.

    Raya
    Trent - Gabriel - Milenković
    Salah - Palmer - Martinelli - Rodgers - Semenyo
    Pedro - Jackson - Wood

    Fab - Digne - Greaves

If you don't like the clear and obvious move above, then Martinelli to Amad perhaps.

    Pickford
    TAA Gabriel Hall
    Salah Palmer* Gordon Sarr*
    Isak Jackson Wood
    Fabianski // Rogers Munoz Greaves

Seeing the Palmer doubt made me lean back towards selling Jackson for Gakpo (given we're surely worse without him). Won't be able to tell if he starts or not though.

... then Sarr also becomes a question mark!

I'd planned to buy Gakpo & Mbeumo by GW24 anyhow.

    A) Jackson > Gakpo
    B) Sarr > Mbeumo
    C) Hold. Who 1st on bench?

Although I was thinking about B, apparently Sarr was at least in training pics today. Risk or not, Rogers off the bench isn't awful.

For A - I'm a tad concerned with the state of Chelsea going into this game. Yes it's Wolves, but if we do have multiple players out, with how we've been - I'll regret not moving him on lol.

I am holding both. Sarr has been more disappointing, played last game little bit too deep for my taste. Ironically the first return I got from him though. Fixtures are good.

Jackson vs Wolves is difficult to sell, even for Wood.

What do we think the ceiling for Pickford is in that double? The Pool game is pretty much a write off bar save points? If they concede vs Leicester he'll probably score less than a few keepers with 1 fixture in the double

That is one issue. The other is that is that getting Pickford now means that he is possibly in the BB team also.

I'm looking at 22 to 29 and there's not much in it between the two imo. Might as well go with the one with an extra game.
What are the expectations from Sels in 26-28 New, Ars and City?
Sels - 6 top half of the table in the next 8

Guess you have FH, TC/BB left? Maybe all 3 of them?

Would stick with your likely blankers and just try to move up as much as possible. Then FH in 29. Save transfers to navigate BGW34 when you get info about blankers there.

        • 11 Years

You wonnt like it but if your wildcarding now I'd have gone lighter on likely blankers in 29 or your forcing yourself into a free hit in 29 and no idea how you navigate 34 even with transfers you'll probably be bringing in players you dont want to keep given the likely blankers (this is for FA Cup semis and its likely at least 2 of the better sides make it that far)

Bournemouth can be quite stubborn whilst Brentford's defence is like a colander so I think Salah, but Salah is prone to petering a little bit in this phase, even without AFCON

They still haemorrhage goals at home Brentford even if they'll be tough to beat. Remember the Ipswich game that was goal crazy. Wolves was a bit like that too I think. City in midweek just gone. Etc

    4. Salarrivederci
      • 9 Years

I'm going for Salah or Haaland.

The thing that currently sways towards Salah is actually the fact, that City have to travel and play PSG in CL. And they need the 3 points.

Liverpool at home against Lille, and could field the youth. They are in top8 almost even if they lose both of the last two in CL.
Salah should get rested even though that is unlikely probably.

I preferred Isak with his yellow flag which meant only that he had been rested. His minutes are a bigger worry now imo. Shorter turnaround now. 70+ is what I personally expect.

I'm surprised more aren't talking about Isak's glass hammys amongst the Palmer news. He always feels like an injury waiting to happen does Isak, not quite Jota levels but he gets his fair share. Palmers generally pretty robust.

Yes, because he may lose 70 pts to "average" and you can gain that, especially because of AssMan chip. No need to go too crazy, betting against Salah last week for example worked out for many.

You could if you get lucky with assman and dont play it safe. Problem is of course you get bigger rewards because the outcomes required are unlikely to happen. But its probably the biggest opportunity given you'll likely have similar squads and TC use.

    Salah, Palmer, Gordon, Sarr, ESR
    Isak, Jackson, Pedro

I want Jackson, Pedro, ESR out of my team.. Sels and/or Nottingham def, Wood, Wissa, Mbuemo, Amad, Mateta is players i want..

Make 1, 2 or no transfer and roll again?
Pedro -> Wood feels like an obvious transfer though? And hard to see Soton score on Nottingham so would be nice to have Sels and/or a def, but doesnt feel like there are anyone i have to sell in my current defense? Sell Raya and get don extra cash, or upgrade Flekken?

Sarr and J P might be issues. You could get Gordon.

What to do here? 1FT 0ITB. No Newcastle/Forrest defence is killing me at the moment but my 3 defenders have decent fixtures too

    Pickford
    TAA Robinson Timber
    Palmer Salah (C) Gordon Bruno
    Mateta Wood Isak

    Fab Enzo Mazaroui VDB

    A) Mazraoui to Burn
    B) Mazraoui to Williams
    C) Timber to Aina
    D) Timber to Hall
    E) Roll

Not me. But I don't have Gordon or Mbeumo, which is scary.

I was thinking about Rogers to Gordon (-4), but 0.5 short off that.

I'd probably get rid of him tbh...

I think I will wait and see what happens. Time to reassess is before gw24. Injury or illness to Jota, Gakpo or Salah isn't likely, but hardly impossible scenario.

I may not have him, Elanga instead. Only thing is Jackson in his place which I want turn to become Gakpo ... so last minute decision.

Aargh, Sarr & Palmer flagged. Got Wissa, Huijsen and Timber on bench on bench

    Still G2G and save FT?
