DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 25: CHAMPIONSHIP
Portsmouth’s woes on the road continue
John Mousinho’s side have had a torrid time away from Fratton Park this season, and their misery was continued on Saturday. Pompey lost 5-1 to WBA at The Hawthorns, seeing them have conceded the most goals on the road [38]. On Fantasy, 27 of their 91 points have come on the road – their one and only win away was in Gameweek 11 against QPR. Grady Diangana (M) ran the Pompey defence ragged – scoring a brace (+12) and providing two assists (+6) alongside further attacking returns in just 66 minutes, banking 22 points for 0.1%.
Despite the loss, Josh Murphy (M) scored seven points in just 21 minutes – making three interceptions (+7), taking his total to 17 in 24. Moreover, Thomas Waddingham (F) scored on his debut since signing from Brisbane Roar. Nevertheless, it was a terrible showing and they need to improve their form on the road, sitting just two points above the drop zone.
The Lions defeat the Hatters
Following a poor run of form, Millwall picked up their first win since Gameweek 20, defeating Luton Town 1-0 at Kenilworth Road – securing nine points for 2.8%. Jake Cooper (D) dominated in defence and provided his first double-digit score since Gameweek 13. The centre-back made 18 clearances (+6), helping secure a clean sheet bonus (+5) for 0.5. Moreover, Tristan Crama (D) also provided his first double-digit score, after impressing on loan at Exeter City. Mihailo Ivanovic (F) scored the winner (+7), his third goal in 19 matches.

Up next, Millwall travel to Fratton Park to face Portsmouth. Pompey are unbeaten at home since October, and will prove a tough test.
DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 25: LEAGUE ONE
Burton shock Rotherham
The Brewers made it three games unbeaten, as Gary Bowyer’s side defeated Rotherham United 4-2 at Pirelli Stadium – securing seven points for 2.4%. Jón Bödvarsson (F) scored a brace (+10), banking 13 points, taking his total to three goals in three games. However, the plaudits went to centre-back Ryan Sweeney (D), who scored the second of the afternoon (+7) and made 22 clearances (+7), scoring 15 points for his efforts. JJ McKiernan (M) also scored and assisted to help them win, scoring 11 points for 0%.
Although the Millers lost, they did score two points for 2.9% due to the 2+ goals scored – every cloud, right? Andre Green (M) continued his magnificent form, scoring and assisting (+10), making it 27 points in two Gameweeks!
Up next, Burton host Reading on Tuesday, while Rotherham face 22nd-placed Cambridge United (H) next.
Lincoln smash Peterborough
The Imps made it three matches unbeaten, defeating Peterborough United 5-1 at LNER Stadium, securing seven points for 2.4%.
Dom Jeffries (M) wrote the headlines on Fantasy, providing two goal contributions (+10) and making one interception (+2), scoring 13 points for 0% – which is understandable, given his lack of game time. Freddie Draper (F) also scored and assisted, taking his total to three goals and one assist in 23 games. Despite being picked by 4.4%, Paudie O’Connor (D) blanked for the first time since Gameweek 15. However, Ethan Erhahon (M) made one interception (+2), scoring four points for 0.8%.
Lincoln take on Blackpool (H) up next, and will be hoping to make it four matches unbeaten. Meanwhile, Darren Ferguson’s side need to dust themselves down: they are without a win in eight games. They face Wigan Athletic (H) on Tuesday.
Further Double Gameweek surprises
Although backed by 2.9% and expected to win, Mansfield Town were defeated 3-2 by Cambridge United. Michael Morrison (D) was outstanding, scoring in the first minute (+7) and making 24 clearances (+8), banking 16 points. Closely behind, Joshua Stokes (M) put on an all-round display, providing two goal contributions (+10), one interception (+2) and attacking returns (+2), scoring 15 points for 0% also! The highest-selected player between the sides, Mansfield’s Lee Gregory (F), was benched in this one. However, he scored from the penalty spot (+5) in just seven minutes to score six points. Cambridge face Rotherham United (A) next, while the Stags host Crawley Town.
Furthermore, although the Barnsley attacking assets were being targeted ahead of the Double, Stevenage secured a 0-1 away victory at Oakwell. DOUBLE GAMEWEEK 25: LEAGUE TWO
Bradford shock Walsall
Having gone 16 games unbeaten under Mat Sadler and 12 points clear at the top of the table, the Saddlers were expected to continue their impressive run against Bradford City (A). However, the game was over by the 55th minute when the Bantams went 3-0 up. They scored zero points for 6.9% – ouch!
Alex Pattison (M) scored 17 points for 0.1% – kudos to those who picked him! The midfielder bagged a brace (+12) and made one interception (+2), while Antoni Sarcevic (M) provided two assists and scored to bank 15 points for 0.2%. Defenders Jack Shepard (D) and Alex Baldwin (D) both scored double-digits for their efforts, while Sam Walker (G) was the highest-scoring keeper with 12 points.
Despite the loss, Taylor Allen (M) maintained his remarkable form, making three interceptions to score eight points for 3.8%. Equally, Harry Williams (D) also continued his great form, and returned seven points.
Hoping to bounce back, Walsall face Fleetwood Town (A), while Bradford are unbeaten in six, winning five of those, and take on Morecambe (H) next.
Mickey Demetriou…doesn’t haul!
Another League Two disappointment for managers, 4.3% were let down as the Railwaymen lost 0-1 to now 20th-placed Accrington Stanley (H). Shaun Whalley (M) scored the only goal of the match, taking his total to seven goals and four assists in 20.
Mickey Demetriou (D), backed by 19.3%, only returned three points, making only four clearances (+1) in the match. Both teammates Jamie Knight-Lebel (D) and Ryan Cooney (D) scored five and four points each, for less than 0.5% of managers. Most impressively, Accrington’s Farrend Rawson (D) returned 11 points – making 14 clearances on the way to a clean sheet score.
Despite the blip, we still back Demetriou and Crewe to score big. They face AFC Wimbledon (H) next, while the ‘Owd Reds face Cheltenham Town.
Notts County
The Magpies were selected by 8.5% and returned three points in their 1-1 draw against Bromley (H). On his first start since his injury, Jodi Jones (F) scored a penalty and bagged eight points for 3.2%. David McGoldrick (F) provided the assist to secure five points for 3.4%. However, Bromley’s Cameron Congreve (M) scored the equaliser and made one interception to bag 10 points, securing a point for the Ravens. Alassana Jatta (F) blanked for 6.6%, alongside Alex Bass (G) for 8.4% – the two most selected players across both sides.
On Tuesday, Notts County host 23rd-placed Carlisle United (H), while Bromley continue their travels, heading to Chesterfield (A).
Barrow masterclass
Arguably a fixture overlooked by Fantasy managers, Barrow defeated Grimsby Town 3-0 at SO Legal Stadium. Theo Vassell (D) stole the show on Fantasy – scoring 18 points for 1.4%! The centre-back scored the third of the afternoon and provided defensively for his managers. Kyle Cameron (D), Robbie Gotts (M) and Ben Jackson (M) all scored 11 points for their efforts. The Bluebirds were one of 11 clubs to score nine points – the highest score as it stands.
Up next, Barrow face Doncaster Rovers (H), while the Mariners will be looking to improve their home form when they face Gillingham.
