LEWIS SAID…

Goalkeepers

In goal, James Trafford (G), Egil Selvik (G) and Michael Cooper (G) all have great fixtures and should bank at least one clean sheet. Although the Burnley fixtures aren’t ideal, they’re two games away from levelling history, which is something I’ll keep in mind.

Defenders

In defence, Michal Helik (D) has three consecutive double-digit hauls, and two home games look good. Sonny Bradley (D) has banked 33 points in three, and the fixrures look okay. As a punt and still averaging nine points, Ed Turns (D) could land a spot in my team as a differential.

Midfielders

in midfield, Kwame Poku (M) has looked sharp since returning from injury, and banked 27 points in Gameweek 34. Equally, Gustavo Hamer (M) scored last time out and is pivotal in the Blades attack. Finally, choosing a third midfielder proved more difficult: Bae Jun-Ho (M) has been a consistent scorer in recent weeks, and two ideal fixtures seems tempting.

Forwards

Up top, Jay Stansfield (F) broke his goalscoring duct last time out and I’m confident he returns in at least one of his two games. Elsewhere, Charlie Kelman (F) is still in the golden boot race and has two green FDR fixtures. finally, Josh Sargent (F) has the most EFL goals in 2025 [nine], although the fixtures are less appealing.

Double Gameweek 35 scout squad: Club Picks

In terms of club picks, I still have slots left for Birmingham, Burnley and Sheffield United, all of which I fancy this week to pick up two wins. As a punt, Leyton Orient are also on my radar.

SCOTT SAID…

Goalkeepers

James Trafford (G), Michael Cooper (G) and Ryan Allsop (G) seem best to me. Trafford has been unbelievable all season, only conceding 11 goals. Even though the fixtures aren’t perfect, I still feel he’s a really good option. Cooper’s fixtures are good, plus he’s collected two clean sheets in his last four games. Finally, Allsop has good fixtures, and Birmingham have been a consistent defence all season.

Defenders

Maxime Esteve (D), Christoph Klarer (D), and Harry Darling (D) are standouts. Like Trafford, Esteve has been exceptional all season. Even though the double isn’t perfect, I like him as a pick. Klarer again has a good double, offers an attacking threat, and plays in a great defence. Finally, Darling has an amazing double, and in his last four games, he’s managed 39 points.

Midfielders

In midfield, I’m debating between Hamza Choudhury (M), Kwame Poku (M), and Aaron Morley (M). Choudhury has managed 23 interceptions in 10 appearances so far and averages 6.2 points per game. Poku has been excellent since returning from injury, he looks like a great pick again this week. Morley has a brilliant double and has been consistently scoring all season for Bolton, averaging 5.6 points per game.

Forwards

Charlie Kelman (F), Tyrese Campbell (F), and John McAtee (F) could lead the line. Kelman has been in brilliant goalscoring form and has a favorable double. Campbell has returned in all of his last six games and has a nice double. McAtee has a great double and is a good way to get some Bolton coverage.

Double Gameweek 35 scout squad: Club Picks

Sheffield United, Bolton, Burnley, and Birmingham are the top picks. The Blades have a great double and have been in fabulous form. Bolton has one of the best doubles this week, in my opinion; I expect them to win both. Burnley are unbeaten in 26 games, so although the fixtures are tough, I still expect a good return from them. Birmingham, with a double, will always be a good option, but if you only have one Birmingham pick left, save it for their Triple.

FPLREACTIONS SAID…

Goalkeepers

Burnley have kept a huge 28 clean sheets this season so James Trafford (G) is obviously a standout option this week. I also think Sheffield United and Michael Cooper (G) have the potential to keep two clean sheets. Chesterfield have two great fixtures and have won five of their last six, so goalkeeper Ryan Boot (G) could also have potential.

Defenders

In defence, the standout is probably Maxime Esteve (D). Burnley’s defensive ownership will be high this week and Esteve is the highest scoring player in the Championship in Fantasy EFL. Gillingham’s Max Clark (D) has netted three goals in his previous five matches, two of those goals were penalties. I also think Sheffield United’s Anel Ahmedhodzic (D) could be a very good pick at the back.

Midfielders

Burnley are in good scoring form and their standout attacker is arguably Josh Brownhill (M), who has scored three times in his last five matches. Bolton have two home matches against poor defences so Aaron Morley (M), who has managed two goals and two assists in his last four matches, is a shoo-in. Peterborough’s Kwame Poku (M) has a sensational Gameweek 34 so adding him in could be wise

Forwards

Up front, Birmingham’s Jay Stansfield (F) is arguably the best forward option heading into the week. Leyton Orient play two poor defences so main man Charlie Kelman (F) could also be an excellent option. I would also throw Norwich’s Josh Sargent (F) into the mix, I think he’ll score at least once this week.

Double Gameweek 35 scout squad: Club Picks

Team picks are straight forward with Sheffield United and Bolton standing out. Chesterfield and Birmingham should also win both of their matches.

DANNY SAID…

Goalkeepers

Keepers this week could potentially be either of Michael Cooper (G), James Trafford (G) or Ryan Allsop (G). All these shot stoppers have two good games this week and have been very important in their sides successful seasons.

Defenders

Ben Davies (D) comes off the back of a goal and is very much almost certain to start both games this week for Birmingham who have looked very strong defensively. Liam Mandeveille (D) has six goals and two assists this season for chesterfield who have two games this week to so he is a possibility this week. Harry Darling (D) for Swansea could be a differential pick, he has two nice home games and picked up a goal last week against Leeds – his total stands at three goals and assists this season.

Midfielders

Gustavo Hamer (M) is a banker for me this week as he plays two sides low in the table and comes off the back of a great free kick last week. Zian Flemming (M) has caught my eye again this week playing up front for Burnley. Kwame Poku (M) is well and truly back, picking up two assists midweek and a few interceptions so he will be a great pick this week.

Forwards

Aaron Collin’s (F) has 10 goals this season and I believe he can add to that tally this week with two decent home games. Coventry’s Haji Wright (F) I like, scoring 10 goals this season and recently come back from injury scoring a hat trick in 33. Charlie Kelman (F) could be a great pick this week after scoring and assisting in Gameweek 34.

Double Gameweek 35 scout squad: Club Picks

Birmingham are looking to gain promotion and with a Double Gameweek they look solid again this week. Bolton have two home games and fighting in the Play-Offs so they need to win. In their last six games, Chesterfield are without a loss, five of them being wins. Lastly, Sheffield United lead the championship and have lost just once in 10.
