Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is well and truly back – and so with it comes all the associated agony and occasional ecstasy.

At the end of Saturday’s Gameweek 1 action, our Scoreboard rounds up all the action.

Included in this article are the day’s leading teams and players for shots, chances created and expected goals (xG). This is official Opta data taken from our Members Area.

And, new for 2025/26, we’ll also round up Saturday’s defensive contribution (DC/DefCon) points, too.

These stats are available for our subscribers immediately after full-time in every Premier League game.

        My team is brilliant and my score is 60pts with 5 to play.

        FH doesn't rip up your team, btw. You get it back the week after. Just FYI.

        My thinking also. Zero Arsenal cover currently and feel like a triple-up would be a risk worth taking.

        Semenyo, Evanilson, Bruno F. also players I'd like to get in for that GW only. (Bruno I'd love for Burnley too but can't afford)

    If I need to find 0.5m would you

    A) Verbruggen -> Valdimarsson. And just play Dubravka every week

    B) Watkins -> Ekitike. Triple LIV. (Always struggle owning Watkins for what it’s worth!)

      Kneejerk as it gets. Watkins bags at least 2 vs. an awful Brentford side next week, guaranteed.

          In my team currently and keeping him long-term too but still not sold on him.

          Think he'll turn out to be a good player that never quite hits consistent FPL returns. If he loses corners back to Szob then I'll probably get rid.

        He played well for a debut. He was just sitting deeper than people expected but he was still linking up attack and midfield.

      Nothing really came off for him but he floats around in the pockets behind the front line. You can imagine him getting goals and assists but the price looks slightly steep for his role at the moment.

    People with West Ham players, I have both Diouf and Bowen.. happy leaving Bowen for a bit longer, but does Diouf need to go? Didn't watch the game but the scoreline would suggest they were pony

        Ballard is the one for me in exchange for Wan Bissaka. I went with the wrong Sunderland GK today i had Paterson. Might need to use a WC to bring in Semenyo/Reijenders/Ballard/Roefs for Murphy/Soucek/Wan Bissaka & Paterson.
        if not a WC then it would either be Ballard for Wan Bissaka or Reijenders for Soucek.
        Including Dubravka coming off my bench i got 35 points for 7 players including captain with Palmer/Pedro/Wood/Fernandes left to go

      Diouf arrived in space in the box and had a goalbound shot saved/blocked. I wasn't sure about him despite playing Eliteserien Fantasy when he played for Tromsø but looks like he'll cope with the PL. West Ham were pedestrian once they needed to force something in the second half but I don't think there's any rush to get rid unless you really need to find 0.5m for a big move.

    Williams -> Dorgu
    Wirtz -> King
    Watkins -> Haaland

      Yeah I planned that. But pretty happy so far. Diouf was terrible, definitely going.
      Watkins and Rogers blanked but we knew this was their hardest fixturel
      Rienser and Haaland C did well, as did kuduband porro.
      Obviously double Burnley blank but they are 4.0

        I don't see it changing much, I want the threemium. So can't afford Saka. No one else really interests me that much from the remaining teams. Plus price rises will happen tonight, so it is activated. Only thing I can see changing is if Palmer, Sels, or Dorgu got injured. Maybe a striker presents themselves.

    43 with Kudus’s bonus, but only Rice, Palmer and Sels to go.

    Triple Villa (Konsa included) a massive let down, as were West Ham punts Diouf and Fullkrug.

    £3.5m ITB should help a lot with any changes, but will be hard enough not ditching the likes of Rogers for Reijnders!
