    Easily the worst start I've ever made to an FPL season - is this team in need of wildcarding, or do I just use my FTs to fight some fires?

      No WC necessary. Wait till tomorrow to see how Wirtz does. I have sent him on his way already but he may come good so hang in there. Changes only needed in midfield and maybe a striker.

      Similar mate 38 now 21 a the only positive is I have Salah (C) & Wirtz to play but even then, it’s been a disaster.

        Yea Salah cap and Gakpo left, but still going to be a disaster. Considering how everything has gone so far, I'm fully expecting something to go wrong with those two as well.

        Still going to play, but honestly, season feels over already. Not going to give FPL much time or attention, 5 mins each week to make a transfer.

    Although 2nd half Utd were nowhere to be seen, the first 20min and Arsenal game show their attacking threat.

    Recommendations on moves here?

    Wood would be a good transfer in if I had not already got 3x NFO already (sigh).

    Haaland is possible for free, selling Palmer, but can only go up to 5.4m. Sarr (TOT) or someone else?

    Sarr (CRY) is semi-tempting as he always seems to batter Aston Villa, but worried about Watkins too. Is Richarlison actually worth it? Or another Spurs player?

        Yeah I don't think my team is 'bad'. Just quite unlucky thus far. Watkins and the Forest defense have underperformed, mostly. Aside from things I could really predict. (Palmer, Bruno pen miss, had 3x instances of players missing DefCon by 1...)

        Who would you sell Watkins for? Haaland? Someone else?

        Bruno stays till next GW.

            You’d imagine he is not getting dropped on current form and Frank said similar. Kudus and Johnson both playing well also so unless a change in formation I don’t see that attack changing really

    United system is not going to work until they get a top class box to box midfielder. Forget the keeper for now. Bruno and Casemiro starting in the middle are going to get dominated.

    Amorim has his way of playing with the wing backs and that is starting to show at times to be fair, but I can’t help but think they just need to play to the strengths of the talent they have in attack. Mbuemo and Cunha were so successful last year because they play quick on the counter with Brentford and Wolves which they can’t seem to do with United because they can’t get the ball quickly from defence to attack. The two central mids in the below sample is where I’d be targeting new blood.

      I wish Amorim wasn't so reluctant to get Mainoo on the pitch but either way we definitely (or desperately) need a midfielder. Bruno is kind of wasted playing deeper imho.

        It continues to popup every new tab, which is the only way to navigate through previous comments as the "back" button doesn't take you back to the comments section. I'm signed in, not incognito.

          The description was confusing/incorrect. The expected behaviour is:

          1. Signed in but not a premium member: open a new tab and the ad pops up
          2. Signed in as a premium member: open a new tab and the ad does not pop up

          Basically, exactly as you probably already expected!

          Apparently, they know that barely anyone opens new tabs when navigating the website, which I don't believe tbh

              One solution for me would be to stop commenting until it's removed [to the relief of some I expect]. I'll still use the site but in a more limited way avoiding TABs and not looking back through comments/replies. Probably better than me complaining about a free website. Bye for now.

    One minute I look at my team and think I could make it to the IB without making a transfer, and the next minute I feel like ripping it to shreds and starting again. Not to bad on the injury front, but one or two meh performances.

      Probably not a bad move. I have every faith that Guiu will be our BB 8th forward, but I'm thinking I'll buy him back on WC when he's 4.3!

      Do we know what's up with Rutter? I mean, he's benchable, but still another gamble that hasn't really paid off.

      I wouldn't go for Rich due to fixture/Solanke while there are other options, Wood & Thiago. For me, Wood is the first name in the team.

      Kudus and Porro are fine, but they are probably too far down the priority list, given better fixtures for other teams.

      No idea why you'd go for Dorgu unless your budget was 80m. That said, I am yet to see today's highlights.

        Rich will start, but minutes are an issue. He's 2nd on the list for me, while Wood way down: Haaland > Rich > Pedro > Watkins > Ekitike > Wood
        For mid it's Palmer > Cunha > Mbeumo > Salah > Kudus = Gordon
        Defense is built from the four teams most likely to keep a clean sheet combined with some attacking threat.

    I know not a countless amount of problems screaming out but just the whole team feels off and feels like I’m missing players from inform teams like Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea even Man City to an extent. Dud picks like Bruno, Watkins, Palmer, (Salah & Wirtz - yet to play but still) feel like taking up a lot of budget. Also feel the formation is swaying towards 4 at the back now and cheaper mids. Not sure what to do

      Bruno isn't hurting ahead of Burnley, and Palmer is still a bit of an unknown until they assess him on Tuesday apparently, but even then unless they play him on the RHS, he's so out of form as well he's probably a sell. See what happens with Liverpool tomorrow, but I think I'd prioritise Palmer & Fullkrug out, maybe for Wood & Semenyo?

      Mind you, I'm sitting at 3m OR, so maybe I'm not the person to listen to.
