Chelsea v Fulham gets Gameweek 3 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) underway.

The team news couldn’t be simpler: both sides are unchanged from their last Premier League matches.

The Blues are, of course, without the injured Cole Palmer for this clash.

Reece James is only among the substitutes again, as Malo Gusto keeps his place at right-back.

Moises Caicedo is fit to start, despite only having his first training session of the week on Friday.

As for the Cottagers, Rodrigo Muniz retains his place up top despite a midweek goal for positional rival Raul Jimenez.

And budget FPL midfielder Josh King starts for the third league game in a row.

Harry Wilson is on the bench after shrugging off a midweek foot injury, while Antonee Robinson is also a substitute as he slowly builds up match fitness following his summer knee surgery.

LINE-UPS

Chelsea XI: Sanchez, Gusto, Tosin, Chalobah, Cucurella, Caicedo, Fernandez, Estevao, Joao Pedro, Neto, Delap.

Subs: Jorgensen, Acheampong, James, Fofana, Hato, Essugo, Santos, George, Gittens.

Fulham XI: Leno, Tete, Anderson, Bassey, Castagne, Lukic, Berge, Sessegnon, King, Iwobi, Muniz.

Subs: Lecomte, Cuenca, Robinson, Reed, Cairney, Adama, Wilson, Smith Rowe, Jimenez.

    What a joke.
Great league, great players and great stadiums but the level of refereeing in PL is the lowest out of all top European leagues.

Why are we all spending our weekends tuning in to middle aged cheats ruining football matches every week?

      Im stuck because of Fpl
Think the running of the game by the PL is as corrupt as amateur boxing, which I don't watch now

Premier league and football is boring as hell. Everyone plays the same way, no flare players anymore

Same robotic crap over and over.

      VAR just makes it worse

The concept of VAR is good. The implementation itself is unbelievably bad.

    1. Qaiss

You think that’s a foul if a Liverpool player did that to win a game in the 90th minute? These refs are just cheats and have big club bias. Was the same with the Man Utd pen last week

      1. Deulofail
        • 10 Years

My point is that I think it's a foul. How can I be annoyed about corruption if I think it's a foul and they gave a foul

        1. Qaiss
          • 10 Years

If that was given as a goal, no-one would have complained. It’s not a foul, where was he meant to put his foot?

Ten Haag got sacked because of a decision in favour or West Ham

Why would bias refs towards big clubs send off Rice V Brighton or Saliba V Bournemouth or MLS V Forest, Gabriel V Southampton. Arsenal decisions are the opposite, the favourable ones are against the big or bigger sides, the poor ones against the small teams.

    2. Gubby-Allen

Haven't seen it but I am like that with most decisions.

I think VAR have only got one decision wrong this season, Man Utd penalty v Fulham and even that was a blatant foul, it just shouldn't have been one as there was a foul on Fulham too.

As a Chelsea fan I feel lucky, but if it was in a different sequence of play it couldve been blown up straight away

At what point do VAR just stop bothering sending the ref to the monitor and instead just tell him to reverse the decision? Its absolutely pointless. Not once has the ref stuck to his onfield decision after being sent to the monitor.

    1. jacob1989

Agree. I have seen maybe 1 or 2 times refs sticking to their decision all these years

Chelsea fan. But that's just appalling.

I hate VAR so, so very much. Endless American-style "reviews", mic'd-up refs, etc. ruining our sport. Guaranteed we'll be getting ads during reviews soon.

I’d go even further - just for decisions than can only be objectively right or wrong! Offsides and goal line tech and nowt else

Yes agree. Only offside or goal line. Everything else subjective so let ref stick to original decision
