The Scout Squad sees our in-house team discuss who they think the best Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players are for Gameweek 4 in isolation.

Sam, Marc, Tom F and Neale explain their picks in the article below.

Scout Squad Gameweek 1

The focus is only on the upcoming Gameweek with the Scout Squad, so there’s no medium-term planning involved.

The players who get the most votes are much more likely to make the Scout Picks, although the final XI can’t exceed £83.0m – so occasionally, we have to source cheaper alternatives.

Each of our writers must meet the following requirements for this feature:

  • At least one sub-£5.0m goalkeeper
  • At least one sub-£5.0m defender
  • At least one sub-£6.0m midfielder
  • At least one sub-£7.0m forward
  • No more than three players from the same club

    I think I can stave off from WC’ing, playing Milenkovic & Cunha not exactly ideal.

    That being said, Sarr needs to go. I’ve narrowed it down to:

    D) Rice

      You said it already - possibly limited gametime. Arsenal's fixtures don't ease up until GW7 and there's also Europe to deal with too.

      Will be a good pick I'm sure but can understand people going elsewhere.

        Cheers. Yeah, I think I'll keep Milenkovic. Think Murillo is far better suited to the way Ange will want them to play - but both Sunderland & West Ham let up a fair few headed chances, so that's what to hope for lol.

      I really like it, but do you have enough cash to bring in Isak when he fires? I'm not sure about Salah personally, I have Gakpo instead and enough cash waiting for Isak. You might need 2 transfers....
