AMER SAID…

GOALKEEPERS

After returning last round, Edouard Mendy produced an impressive 12-point haul. He remains one of the standout goalkeeper options, backed by the strongest defence in the league and offering additional upside through save points.

Another clean sheet arrived for Marcelo Grohe, his second in succession, as Al-Shabab continue to impress at the back. A meeting with Al-Hazem should again bring save potential, with a shutout firmly on the cards.

A trip to face Al-Okhdood places Mailson firmly in contention this round. The hosts have struggled going forward, giving the goalkeeper a strong opportunity to add another clean sheet.

DEFENDERS

With Al-Fateh’s attacking output dropping in recent weeks, Al-Ittihad’s defence looks increasingly appealing. That puts Jorge Fernandes in a good position to deliver points, with scope for additional returns.

Against a Damac side lacking attacking threat, Nathan Zézé stands out as one of the stronger defensive picks. Clean sheet potential is high, while his presence from set pieces also brings goal upside.

Despite a difficult fixture against Al-Hilal, Mohammed Al-Shamat cannot be ignored. He leads the league for big chances created (12) and remains capable of producing points regardless of opposition.

Few defenders offer the same blend of attacking and defensive output as Yoann Barbet. He ranks fifth among defenders for shots and sits second for defensive actions, making him a strong all-round option against Al-Najma.

Recent underlying numbers point toward patience paying off with Theo Hernandez. He has registered eight shots across the last three rounds, created a big chance, and missed a clear scoring opportunity – signs that returns may not be far away.

MIDFIELDERS

Strong recent form keeps Julián Quiñones firmly on the radar. Even against Al-Hilal’s defence, his confidence remains high after scoring four goals across his last three appearances.

Set-piece duties continue to boost the appeal of Tozé, who ranks second among midfielders for shots over the last three rounds. During that spell, he has delivered two goals and an assist.

Momentum is firmly with Fashion Sakala, who has found the net three times across his last three matches. Penalty duties and high shot volume only strengthen his case.

An away meeting with Al-Kholood gives João Félix an attractive route to attacking returns. Their defensive issues, combined with the need for a result, point toward opportunities for goals and bonus points.

Even without a direct return last round, Sergej Milinković-Savić still collected 10 points. In a match expected to produce goals, his involvement and shot volume – fourth among midfielders recently – make him a strong option once again.

FORWARDS

A favourable matchup against Al-Kholood puts Cristiano Ronaldo firmly in focus. The opposition conceded four big chances last round and continue to struggle against central forwards.

Form alone keeps Ivan Toney among the standout forward picks. He has scored five goals in his last three matches, all from the spot, while Al-Ahli’s attacking improvement – aided by Riyad Mahrez’s return – has increased his supply line.

Facing an Al-Okhdood side that struggle against strikers, Roger Martínez offers another reliable route to points. His current form only adds to the appeal.

A meeting with an Al-Fateh defence conceding heavily in recent weeks makes Karim Benzema a strong inclusion. They rank third-worst for goals allowed across the last three rounds, while penalty duties further boost his potential.

Finally, Morlaye Sylla provides an interesting differential. He has registered nine shots and created two big chances recently, and with Al-Riyadh showing signs of attacking improvement, this fixture against Al-Najma could be one to target.

LOUIS SAID…

GOALKEEPERS

Al-Taawoun’s fixture stands out this week, which places Mailson firmly in the conversation. The matchup gives him strong clean sheet potential and makes him one of the more appealing goalkeeper picks.

Defensive momentum also continues to build for Al-Shabab, keeping Marcelo Grohe among the leading options once again. He is joined by Al-Nassr’s Bento, who also has a realistic chance of returning points this round.

DEFENDERS

Al-Shabab’s recent form at the back makes Wesley Hoedt an excellent option. His consistency and involvement in defensive actions add to his appeal.

Alongside him, Al-Ahli centre-back Roger Ibanez stands out as a defender worth serious consideration, particularly for managers looking to strengthen their back line.

Attacking upside also comes into play with Pedro Rebocho, who has produced three assists across his last five matches for Al-Khaleej and benefits from a favourable fixture. Elsewhere, Theo Hernandez of Al-Hilal and Jawad El Yamiq of Al-Najma also enter the frame as viable options.

MIDFIELDERS

Al-Okhdood’s struggles make this an ideal week to target them, which brings Angelo Fulgini into focus. His recent output has been limited, but the fixture offers a strong opportunity to change that.

If fit, Al-Shabab penalty taker Yannick Carrasco looks close to essential for the round if fit. A similar case can be made for Julián Quiñones, who continues to operate in advanced areas and remains in excellent attacking form.

There is also encouragement around Riyad Mahrez, who has impressed since returning from AFCON and looks capable of maintaining that level. Meanwhile, João Félix remains a player to monitor – his returns have dipped, but the underlying quality suggests that improvement should follow.

FORWARDS

Few forwards have caused more frustration this season than Roger Martínez, who continues to punish non-owners. With another promising fixture ahead, he once again looks capable of delivering.

Despite Al-Nassr’s recent attacking struggles, Cristiano Ronaldo still carries major upside and that form is unlikely to persist for long. At the same time, Ivan Toney – who many managers have turned to as an alternative – could also enjoy another productive week for Al-Ahli.

Further forward options include Alexandre Lacazette for Neom and Joshua King for Al-Khaleej, provided he remains at the club during the transfer window.

MO SAID…

GOALKEEPERS

Al-Shabab’s defensive improvement continues to stand out, which keeps Marcelo Grohe firmly among the leading goalkeeper options. Back-to-back clean sheets highlight that momentum, while his save potential provides a strong floor even if the shutout disappears.

A favourable fixture puts Mailson in a strong position this round. Al-Okhdood have struggled in attack, giving Al-Taawoun a genuine chance of another clean sheet.

There is also potential value in Bento, who continues to offer save points and remains capable of delivering a return if Al-Nassr can tighten up defensively.

DEFENDERS

Al-Ahli’s back line has looked increasingly solid, and that brings Roger Ibanez firmly into consideration. His defensive involvement remains high, which often translates into steady points even without attacking returns.

Recent form at the back makes Al-Shabab defenders appealing once again, with Wesley Hoedt standing out as one of the strongest options. Clean sheet potential combined with aerial threat gives him multiple routes to points.

A matchup against Damac enhances the appeal of Nathan Zézé. The opposition lack attacking threat, boosting clean sheet prospects, while his presence at set pieces adds potential at both ends of the pitch.

Despite a tougher fixture, Mohammed Al-Shamat remains difficult to ignore. His creative output continues to impress, leading all defenders for big chances created this season.

Underlying numbers suggest patience could still pay off with Theo Hernandez. He has registered more shots than any defender over the last three rounds, created a big chance, and remains heavily involved in attacking phases.

MIDFIELDERS

Strong attacking form keeps Julián Quiñones high on the radar. His advanced positioning and recent goal output mean he carries a threat even against stronger opposition.

Since returning from AFCON, Riyad Mahrez has played a key role in Al-Ahli’s attack. Creativity, set-piece involvement and improved team structure all point toward continued returns.

If fitness allows, penalty duties significantly raise the ceiling of Yannick Carrasco. His direct style ensures regular involvement, making him one of the more explosive midfield options available.

A kind fixture offers an opportunity for João Félix to respond after a quiet spell. Despite limited recent output, his role and quality still suggest upside.

Even without a goal or assist last round, Sergej Milinković-Savić produced a strong points total. His shot volume remains among the best for midfielders, and he often thrives in open, attacking contests.

FORWARDS

Recent form alone keeps Ivan Toney firmly in contention. Five goals across the last three rounds underline his reliability from the penalty spot, while Al-Ahli’s improved attacking rhythm continues to supply chances.

Despite Al-Nassr’s struggles in front of goal, Cristiano Ronaldo remains central to everything they do. His shot volume, penalty duties and presence in the box ensure constant upside.

Few forwards have punished non-owners more consistently this season than Roger Martínez. Another favourable fixture puts him firmly in the conversation once again.

Neom’s attack continues to run through Alexandre Lacazette, whose penalty duties and central role make him a dependable forward option for the round.

Enrique also leads his attack, so regardless of who he is playing, I think he has good potential.
