AMER SAYS…

GOALKEEPERS

After delivering 11 points in the previous round, Edouard Mendy looks a strong option again this round against Al-Riyadh. A clean sheet is widely expected, and he should also have the chance to add further save points.

A meeting with Al-Okhdood, the second-worst attacking side this season, puts Victor Braga firmly in the frame. The clean-sheet potential is high, and there should be save opportunities as well.

No goalkeeper has made more saves this season than Marek Rodak, and he now faces an Al-Hazem side that struggle going forward. That combination makes both a shutout and additional saves very likely.

DEFENDERS

Consistency and attacking contribution make Mohammed Al-Shamat an important option every week. He continues to deliver defensive actions while also offering threat in forward areas.

Currently the second-highest scoring defender, Roger Ibanez remains a major set-piece threat. He assisted in the previous round and scored 15 points, and a fixture against Al-Riyadh gives him another strong opportunity to return.

Few defenders match the bonus output of Danilo Pereira, who also ranks third among defenders for shots. Against an Al-Khaleej side that struggle with set pieces, he looks well positioned to collect points.

Al-Nassr’s defensive form has been excellent, placing them among the strongest backlines in the league. That strengthens the clean-sheet case for Mohamed Simakan, especially against Al-Fayha, who struggle with set pieces and could also allow him attacking opportunities.

A favourable matchup with Al-Kholood enhances the appeal of Nathan Zeze. The opposition struggle offensively, boosting clean-sheet potential, while his strength from set pieces and defensive actions adds further upside.

MIDFIELDERS

The highest-scoring midfielder in the game, Julian Quinones faces an Al-Taawoun defence that has struggled this season. That gives him a strong chance of adding to his tally.

With Al-Hazem looking defensively vulnerable, this is a good opportunity for Georginio Wijnaldum. Al-Ettifaq need a response after losing the derby last round, which adds further motivation.

Ranking as the third-highest scoring midfielder, Ruben Neves comes up against an Al-Shabab side that conceded four big chances against Al-Riyadh. On penalties and strong in bonus points, he has a clear path to returns.

Al-Qadisiyah arrive in excellent attacking form, and Nahitan Nandez has contributed in each of the last three matches, with two goals and two assists. He stands out as a key attacking option again this week.

Having scored 29 points across the last two rounds, Mourad Batna carries serious momentum into the fixture against Damac. With penalty duties as well, the chances of another return look strong.

FORWARDS

Despite failing to score in the previous round, Ivan Toney remains a major threat against Al-Riyadh, who struggle against strikers. The opportunity for a goal is clear.

Excellent form continues for Cristiano Ronaldo, and a matchup with Al-Fayha presents another strong chance to score. Given Al-Nassr’s attacking strength, he remains a top-tier option.

Facing an Al-Kholood defence that has struggled, Alexandre Lacazette looks a standout pick. The fixture provides a clear opportunity for him to find the net.

Two goals in the previous round underline the form of Enrique, who now faces Neom. With the opposition struggling against strikers, he is well placed to score again.

If fit as expected, Yousef En-Nesyri will face an Al-Khaleej side that struggle against strikers. The matchup gives him a strong chance to get on the scoresheet.

CHUBBS SAID…

GOALKEEPERS

Al Ahli needed him last round and Edouard Mendy delivered. He now faces Al Riyadh in what looks like another strong fixture, with a ‘double’ also on the horizon. It feels like a set-and-forget situation.

If Al Fateh keep a clean sheet, you would expect Fernando Pacheco to be heavily involved in the points. He has a good home fixture this week, which strengthens his appeal.

At the other end, Kewin offers value as Pacheco’s opposite number. He stands out as arguably the best 4.5m option this week, especially with Al Damac’s favourable run of fixtures approaching.

DEFENDERS

Few defenders match the consistency of Roger Ibanez right now. He remains a premium option who can collect points through multiple routes, which makes him extremely reliable.

Another strong home fixture boosts the case for Mohammed Al-Shamat. Al Qadsiah perform well on their own ground, and his profile brings genuine upside.

Two goals and another clean sheet last round highlighted the impact of Inigo Martinez for Al Nassr. The upcoming away fixture is tougher, but both he and Mohamed Simakan remain strong picks.

While the attacking return went Martinez’s way, Mohamed Simakan continues to benefit from Al Nassr’s defensive dominance. Nine clean sheets in a row speaks for itself. That consistency keeps him firmly in consideration.

For those shopping in the budget bracket, Jorge Fernandes stands out this week. The home fixture is appealing and makes him one of the better low-cost defensive options available.

MIDFIELDERS

A home match plays directly into the strengths of Julian Quinones, who has an outstanding record on his own turf this season. Sometimes the decision is simple. Lock him in.

Despite being away, the fixture still looks promising for Georginio Wijnaldum. It presents a clear opportunity for Al Ettifaq to bounce back and return to winning ways.

Reduced minutes did not stop Mourad Batna from returning last time out. He should start this round, has a strong home fixture, takes penalties and remains the talisman. That combination makes him a great pick.

A cheaper route into the Al Ittihad midfield comes via Mahamadou Doumbia. With a good home fixture this week and a double approaching, he offers solid value.

Al Damac’s upcoming run keeps Valentin Vada firmly on the radar. He remains one of the standout budget midfielders and continues to justify that tag.

FORWARDS

The league’s top scorer, Ivan Toney, now faces relegation-threatened Al Riyadh. The matchup is ideal and places him firmly in the captaincy conversation.

With Cristiano Ronaldo, there is little to explain. His form and pedigree speak for themselves.

Back-to-back goals have put Alexandre Lacazette firmly in form for NEOM. A strong home fixture only increases his appeal this week.

If funds are tight, Yakou Meite looks a smart enabler. He is my preferred cheap forward option, particularly with Al Damac’s fixtures improving.

Nailed for minutes, affordable and on penalties, Enrique continues to offer value. The fixture is tougher this round, but the recent 3-2 away win over Al Khaleej shows what they are capable of.

LOUIS SAID…

GOALKEEPERS

This week’s squad has a strong spine, starting in goal with Edouard Mendy, who continues to offer reliability between the posts. The fixture against Al Riyadh is favourable, so should do well.

Fernando Pacheco also benefits from a solid home fixture. If Al Fateh keep things tight, he is well placed to deliver a solid return.

Marek Rodak completes the goalkeeping trio, and with his save volume this season, he always carries multiple routes to points.

DEFENDERS

Defensively, consistency is key. Roger Ibanez remains one of the standout premium options, capable of returning through clean sheets, bonus and attacking involvement. A home fixture further strengthens his case.

The same can be said for Mohammed Al-Shamat, who offers genuine upside. Al Nassr’s defensive form continues to impress, which keeps both Inigo Martinez and Mohamed Simakan firmly in contention.

Rounding out the defence, Jorge Fernandes stands out as a strong budget option with a promising home fixture this round.

MIDFILEDERS

In midfield, Julian Quinones boasts an outstanding record at home and remains one of the most explosive assets available.

Georginio Wijnaldum faces a fixture that presents a clear opportunity to return, particularly with Al Ettifaq seeking a response.

Momentum also sits with Mourad Batna, who continues to produce and retains penalty duties. Ruben Neves adds another layer of quality, combining attacking threat with bonus-point potential, while Riyad Mahrez offers creativity and goal involvement.

FORWARDS

Up front, the options are elite. The league’s top scorer Ivan Toney faces a struggling Al Riyadh side, making him a leading captaincy contender.

There is little to add about Cristiano Ronaldo, whose form and consistency speak for themselves. Enrique provides value through minutes and penalty responsibility, while Alexandre Lacazette arrives in strong scoring form with a favourable home fixture.

Finally, Yousef En-Nesyri offers further attacking depth, particularly in a matchup that suits his strengths.
