NOTES
- In goal, I’m going with Grant Smith. The fixtures are there, and it feels like a good opportunity for a clean sheet this week.
- At the back, I’ve gone with Omar Sowunmi and Alfie Kilgour. Sowunmi continues to stand out with his attacking threat and bonus potential, while Kilgour offers the best route into a very solid defence.
- In midfield, Lewis Wing is the first name on the team sheet – he’s far too consistent to ignore and should keep ticking along nicely. Alongside him, I’ve got Jordan Clark and Kieran Green, both offering a bit more upside and excitement. Green takes the armband as a differential to Wing – a great opportunity to gain if it pays off.
- Up front, I’m backing Joe Taylor. He’s got the fixtures to deliver and feels like a solid option.
- For team picks, I’ve gone with Bristol Rovers and Grimsby Town. Both have decent fixtures, and I’m pretty confident in them this week.

NOTES
- Another DGW incoming, and there’s plenty to like here.
- Brad Young comes in as the goalkeeper. He offers strong save volume alongside clean sheet potential, and the fixtures look favourable. Add in the motivation and the double gameweek, and his overall ceiling looks very solid.
- At the back, Curtis Nelson is a reliable pick. He racks up clearances, blocks, and aerial duels, giving him a strong defensive bonus floor. On top of that, he carries real attacking threat from set-pieces, which adds that extra upside across the double. Alongside him, Alfie Kilgour brings plenty of defensive work with clearances and duels, but it’s his set-piece threat that really stands out. With positive matchups and more minutes likely in the double, he feels like a high-upside option.
- In midfield, Imran Louza controls the tempo with his passing and progressive play. He should benefit from the fixtures and added minutes in the double gameweek, making him a steady contributor. Lewis Wing takes the armband. He’s the main creative force, offering key passes, set-pieces, and goal threat. With a double gameweek in favourable conditions, he’s hard to look past. Alongside him, Kieran Green brings width, crossing, and chance creation. The fixtures suit him, and you’d expect his involvement to increase across the double.
- Up front, Aribim Pepple offers a real presence. He’s strong in the air, links play well, and carries a direct goal threat. With good fixtures and the added games, there’s clear upside here.
- For team picks, Luton Town and Plymouth Argyle both stand out. They’re in strong form and heading into must-win matches to keep their play-off hopes alive, which should drive intensity and, hopefully, returns.

NOTES
- I want some Grimsby Town defensive coverage this week due to their fixtures, so I have opted for Jackson Smith.
- Omar Sowunmi feels difficult to leave out for me. I could go for Grant Smith, but it’s been a while since he scored, so it could come this week. Alongside him, I’m going for Alfie Kilgour. Fixtures and form suggest it’s a wise move to add a Bristol Rovers defender, and he’s the standout.
- I’m sticking with a three-man midfield and with Lewis Wing as captain. I actually want to benefit from his points, so captaining him helps with that. Kieran Green is one route into the Grimsby Town attack. He offers multiple routes to points and has averaged close to six points per game this campaign. I don’t feel massively motivated to move away from Oliver Norwood either. Yes, there are lots of options this week and he has tough fixtures, but he’s been a staple in my team when Double Gameweeks arrive and he’s averaged more points per game than most players in Fantasy EFL.
- Up front, Joe Taylor has been excellent as of late. The fixtures are there for him, and I’m not sure there is a standout forward outside of him this week.
- From and fixtures makes Bristol Rovers and Grimsby Town easy team picks for me. There are lots of great options though.
- I’ll very likely stick with this team if the line-ups go to plan.
- Good luck!
