The Eliteserien Fantasy season continues with Gameweek 6. Our contributors are here to share their thoughts ahead of the upcoming deadline.

In this article, they reveal the teams, along with their captaincy choices, potential chip strategies, and the players they believe can make the biggest impact this week.

NOTES

  • I’m rolling the transfer this week. I’m happy with how the team is set up for the Double Gameweek, and I don’t see enough upside in bringing in Brann players for two away fixtures, especially with a trip to Tromsø included.
  • The FK Bodø/Glimt and Tromsø doubles are really appealing for chip use. It looks like a great spot for either Park the Bus or Two Captains. I already used Park the Bus back in GW4, so I’ve activated Two Captains for GW6.
  • FK Bodø/Glimt haven’t quite hit the levels we expected so far. There’s also a concern around rotation with their busy schedule, especially after going to 120 minutes in the cup on Wednesday. Because of that, I’ve decided to place the armbands on the Tromsø wing-backs, Leo Cornic and Alexander Warneryd.
  • The cup results have also created some disruption further down the line. Aalesunds vs Brann and Start v Bodø/Glimt in GW8 will now be postponed. That’s something to keep in mind when planning transfers this week. At the time of writing, there’s been no confirmation on the new dates, but I’d expect an update very soon – possibly by the time you’re reading this.

NOTES

  • This week is pretty straightforward for me. I’m setting up the Park the Bus chip and focusing on getting the structure right. I’ve decided to keep Kasper Høgh for one more week, then reassess his minutes and overall value ahead of the next round.
  • The plan is to make a few moves. Simen Rafn goes to Fredrik Bjørkan, Lars Ranger makes way for Joachim Solvedt, and Jens Petter Hauge is replaced by Zlatko Tripić. I’ll also switch Markus Karlsbakk to Henrik Udahl, and move Thomas Lehne Olsen on for Anders Cornelius for a -4. That should leave me in a really strong position heading into the Gameweek.
  • Emil Breivik will sit on the bench, giving me solid cover in case Udahl doesn’t start.
  • Good luck all!

NOTES

  • I’ve activated the Two Captains chip this week, which allows me to select two captains. I’ve gone with Leo Cornic and Alexander Warneryd, both offering strong upside with their roles and fixtures.
  • I’ve only made one transfer. Mathias Dyngerland picked up an injury, so he makes way. I’ve brought in Simen Vidtun Nilsen as a budget replacement from SK Brann, which keeps the structure intact while freeing up flexibility elsewhere.
