The Eliteserien Fantasy season continues with Gameweek 7. Our contributors are here to share their thoughts ahead of the upcoming deadline.

In this article, they reveal the teams, along with their captaincy choices, potential chip strategies, and the players they believe can make the biggest impact this week.

NOTES

  • I’ve sold Patrick Berg and Sondre Sørli for Zlatko Tripić and Wilfred George Igor. I made the moves early to avoid getting priced out overnight.
  • Tripić has been very consistent so far, so he gets the armband this week – and likely next week as well.
  • The first spot on my bench is still a tough call. Fixtures point towards benching Emil Breivik, but his current form makes that a difficult decision. If we get an update on Alexander Warneryd, that could swing it.
  • Moving on from Patrick Berg also gives me an extra player for the blank in Gameweek 8. For the double in Gameweek 9, I’ll likely look to bring a Bodø/Glimt player back in.
  • It’s also worth noting that four teams blank in Gameweek 8, while six teams are currently set to double in Gameweek 9. However, if Brann beat Bodø/Glimt in the cup final, that drops to just Bodø/Glimt and Start doubling in Gameweek 9.

NOTES

  • The team doesn’t look amazing this week. There are a few minutes risks and a couple of injury concerns.
  • That said, it comes off the back of a strong week, pushing me into the top 600. Because of that, I’m planning to roll the transfer, depending on any injury updates, so I can better handle the blanks and doubles ahead.
  • The captaincy goes to Zlatko Tripić, who looks like the standout option this week.

NOTES

  • I was set to Wildcard this week, but with Gameweek 9 fixtures depending on the cup final result, I’ve decided to roll instead. That sets me up to dead-end into Gameweek 8, which is a blank because of the final.
  • After a disastrous captaincy call last week, I’ve switched the armband to Zlatko Tripić, who has delivered at least five points in every game this season.
