NOTES
- After striking gold with Leon Goretzka as my star player last week, I’m backing him once again, with only minimal transfers being made ahead of the new round.
- Alexis Claude-Maurice, Romano Schmid, and Jakub Kamiński complete the midfield, with all three continuing to offer reliable and consistent returns.
- I’m currently leaning towards a 3-4-3 once again, although a 4-4-2 remains a possibility. Star players, as things stand, will be Alejandro Grimaldo, Goretzka, and Nicolas Jackson.

NOTES
- Goalkeepers: Nicolas and Finn Dahmen – Last weekend was a fairly underwhelming one for goalkeepers overall, with only Alexander Nübel and Heuer Fernandes managing to break the 200-point mark. I decided to bring in Nicolas ahead of a run of fixtures against sides that tend to take plenty of shots. That move didn’t pay off immediately, but the plan is still to stick with him for now. Whether Dahmen stays is less certain. Augsburg have two relatively favourable fixtures coming up, which could limit his save potential. If I do decide to move him on, then Fernandes would probably be at the top of my shortlist.
- In defence, Alejandro Grimaldo, Nico Schlotterbeck, Ozan Kabak, Danilho Doekhi, and Stefan Posch currently make up the backline. Last week, I opted for Brown over Posch, despite seriously considering Posch throughout the week, and it turned out to be the wrong call. Brown failed to even hit 100 points, while Posch posted an impressive 244-point haul. With tougher fixtures now approaching for Brown, I’m looking to correct that mistake and bring Posch back in. The rest of the defence looks set to remain unchanged. However, if David Raum appears likely to start this weekend, then I could move for him at the expense of Doekhi. Other defenders I’m also keeping an eye on include Kaishu Sano and Edmond Tapsoba.
- In midfield, Michael Olise, Alexis Claude-Maurice, Christoph Baumgartner, Nadiem Amiri, and Leon Goretzka are currently in place. Predicting Bayern’s line-up this week looks set to become much more difficult following their Champions League elimination. The return of several injured players only adds more uncertainty. At the time of writing, predicted line-ups still haven’t fully updated, but based on my gut feeling, I still expect Goretzka to start once again. Olise has already shown he can deliver even in limited minutes, so I may simply have to accept the rotation risk and back the upside. Despite scoring last week, Baumgartner was still slightly disappointing overall, ending with 195 points. That said, his underlying numbers remain consistently strong, and this week’s fixture is good enough to keep me interested. With two favourable fixtures to close out the season, Claude-Maurice and Amiri round off the midfield. Other midfielders firmly on my radar include Romano Schmid, Chris Führich, and Said El Mala.
- Up front, Yan Diomande, Deniz Undav, and Nicolas Jackson currently lead the line. Despite a disappointing weekend in which none of my forwards managed to surpass 200 points, I don’t currently see much reason to make major changes. However, Bayern’s projected forward line-up could still shake things up before the deadline. For now, I’m planning to stick with Jackson, although taking a punt on players like Antonio Nusa, Rômulo, Andrej Kramarić, or El Bilal Touré is definitely not out of the question.

NOTES
- After a small rise in rank last week, the plan heading into this round is very similar – continue targeting players with high upside and strong fixtures.
- The current transfers out are Brown, Josip Juranović, Ndiaye, Jonathan Burkardt, and Can Uzun. Coming in are Stefan Posch, Hennes Behrens, Christoph Baumgartner, Yan Diomande, and Rômulo.
- Those moves allow me to really attack some of the standout fixtures this week, while also setting up with a triple RB Leipzig attack heading into the round.
- As things stand, my star players are likely to be Alejandro Grimaldo, Christoph Baumgartner, and Yan Diomande.
- The formation will once again be a 3-4-3, with the focus firmly on chasing upside and playing aggressively.

NOTES
- Despite not starring Alejandro Grimaldo, alongside disappointing blanks from the forward line, I still managed to hold my overall rank. I’m continuing to chase a top 1k overall finish, while also pushing towards the top 500 in the Second Chance rankings, helped massively by Leon Goretzka’s huge haul last week.
- This week, RB Leipzig are the main focus. My planned star players are currently Yan Diomande and Christoph Baumgartner, with both expected to come into my squad ahead of the deadline.
- Another move I’m strongly considering is replacing Brown with either Willi Orbán or Max Finkgräfe. A triple-up on RB Leipzig feels essential this week, given the fixtures and upside on offer.
- In defence, I’ll once again stick with Grimaldo as a star player. It was a lesson learned after going against him previously.
- The system is expected to remain a 4-4-2 once again. Good luck, everyone.
