The latest new feature for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) is not a particularly ground-breaking one but it gives managers more player information at a glance.

In short, FPL bosses can switch between views on the “Pick Team”, “Points” and “Transfers” pages.

These are viewable on both “Pitch” and “List” views.

The options are:

  • Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR): The difficulty rating given to each player’s upcoming fixture(s).
  • Ownership: The percentage of Fantasy teams that own a player and whether that ownership figure is rising/falling.
  • Next opponent: The team that a player next faces.
  • Form: A player’s average points over the last 30 days.
  • Price Change Predictor: How close players are to a rise or fall in price.

You can see these views visualised here:

has ffscout membership gone up significantly recently? £120 a year is wild when I swear it was £20 for years

Its funny because with claude code, what they are offering is at its lowest value point ever yet the price has risen dramatically. It should be cheaper than before, not more expensive

Any news yet as to which day we might get the launch?

I've heard from several sources it may or may not be quite soon. Don't quote me on that.

They shouldn't launch it until the Rogers deal is done at least

Unfortunately you can only vote for one of the ten options, and the prices of the top three won't be revealed till after 12.00 BST on Wednesday.
Haaland, Bruno and Gabriel will surely be the three most popular choices.

I really wish they'd have taken some of the mechanics from the FIFA game - scouting bonus, first kickoff deadlines, 12th Man chip instead of Bench Boost, to name a few

Scouting bonus at 10% would be sweet. Why 10%? Because the pool for players is smaller than World Cup.

Its trivially easy to build your own stats based system with claude code or similar programs right now. Don't even need any technical know how at all.

Basically anyone can do what algorithmic recommendation sites are doing, but custom made so you can fine tune it and get output based on what stats you personally believe are most important at any point.
