Gameweek 2 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) concludes with Aston Villa v Arsenal.

Kick-off at Villa Park is at 20:00 BST.

TEAM NEWS

Mikel Arteta sticks with the same team that defeated Coventry City on the opening day .

That means that Ezri Konsa is only on the Gunners’ bench as he makes a matchday squad for the first time since his transfer from tonight’s hosts.

Also among the Arsenal substitutes is the fit-again Bruno Guimaraes.

As for the Villans, there are two changes from their 4-0 pasting by Brighton and Hove Albion.

They hand full debuts to two of their summer captures, goalkeeper Zion Suzuki and striker Nicolas Jackson.

Joao Gomes is suspended, while Marco Bizot drops to the bench.

LINE-UPS

Aston Villa XI: Suzuki, Cash, Lindelof, Torres, Maatsen, McGinn, Kamara, Buendia, Hemmings, Barkley, Jackson.

Subs: Bizot, Mings, Ruggeri, Garnacho, Abraham, Bogarde, Wan-Bissaka, Alysson, Lynch.

Arsenal XI: Raya, White, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Lewis-Skelly, Saka, Tzolis, Odegaard, Havertz.

Subs: Kepa, Hincapie, Eze, Gyokeres, Konsa, Madueke, Merino, Zubimendi, Guimaraes.

Already sold Mbuemo for Cherki with 1 of my 2 FT. But regretting that already with Tsolis and Rodon in my team.

    Ballard + Tzolis > Dedic + Foden

Decent alternative to Mbeumo to Cherki? Which could also do for free

Worst ref decision since erm… they allowed the Maguire goal yesterday

It was a blatant handball, no matter what happened after it. And this is from a United fan

It was a blatant handball which led to an own goal, which by the rules of the game, cannot be overturned.

          So correct decision.

They can blow for a handball regardless of the own goal shenanigans. That was the mistake - judging it to be an accidental handball in the first place

Was it balls. He puts his hands up and out towards the ball.

Yeah I don't think that's true. They go back all the time and retroactively call fouls that lead up to a goal. They don't AUTOMATICALLY disqualify a goal unless it touches the goal scorer's hard, but I believe they can use VAR to call an infraction in the build-up. At least, that's my interpretation that may or may not be incorrect

They blatantly said during the broadcast that VAR could not overturn the goal because Maguire’s shot was off-target otherwise it would have been disallowed

Bruno owners need to count themselves very lucky from this.
Almost certainly wouldn't have hauled after yesterday's VAR decision.
Schade should've had a pen etc.

Bruno was already on 10 points from the first goal, which led to us fully dominating the game with an hour to play.
