- Round 27 brings another Double Gameweek for Seattle, so Andrew Thomas, Nouhou and Round 26 top scorer Albert Rusnák all keep their places in my squad.
- Houston’s favourable home fixture against league whipping boys Sporting Kansas City catches my eye. As a result, Lucas Halter and Mateusz Bogusz both come into my team.
- I’m also targeting Nashville’s meeting with Toronto FC and CF Montréal’s clash with FC Cincinnati. Both Canadian sides are missing several players through suspension and international duty, so Sam Surridge and Evander come into my squad.
- My final transfer will be Tristan Blackmon. Vancouver have one of the easiest fixtures on paper in Round 27 before playing a Double Gameweek next round. That makes Blackmon a no-brainer in the absence of Édier Ocampo.

NOTES
- I used my second Wildcard last week, with mixed results from the Double Gameweek. Sporting Kansas City and Seattle both double this week, so I’ll be adding three SKC players in preparation.
- In goal, I’ve retained Rafael Cabral, which isn’t ideal. However, I have other players away on international duty who need replacing. Yohei Takaoka of Vancouver also keeps his place.
- My defence currently consists of Manu Duah, Noel Caliskan, Matías Laborda and Alex Roldán. The transfer in is Wyatt Meyer of Sporting Kansas City, replacing Neil Pierre, who is away on international duty. Meyer has started 16 MLS matches this season, so he looks like a useful route into the SKC double.
- In midfield, I’ve brought in André Luiz from Sporting Kansas City to replace Cavan Sullivan, who is also on international duty. Albert Rusnák scored 24 points across Seattle’s last Double Gameweek and has two good fixtures this round, making him an easy hold. Ryan Gauld, Evander and Nashville’s Hany Mukhtar complete the midfield.
- Up front, I’ve sold Lionel Messi while he is away with Argentina and brought in his Inter Miami teammate Luis Suárez. Dejan Joveljić also makes way while on international duty with Serbia. In his place comes Sporting Kansas City’s Taylor Calheira, giving me another player with two fixtures this round.
- My final transfer is Sam Surridge, who comes in as Nashville have a favourable home fixture against Toronto. Captaincy will be on Albert Rusnák, with Seattle’s Double Gameweek making him the standout option for my team.

- My goalkeepers will remain unchanged, with the next two Double Gameweeks in mind. In defence, I’m willing to back Tristan Blackmon and Vancouver against a D.C. United side without Tai Baribo and Louis Munteanu.
- I’m also targeting Nashville through Maxwell Woledzi. The midfield largely picks itself. Evander faces a depleted Montréal side, while the in-form André Luiz has two fixtures this round.
- Up front, Sam Surridge comes in ahead of a very favourable home fixture. I’ll also keep an eye on the status of Rafael Navarro’s game due to the storms in New York.

- In goal, I’m running it back with Jonathan Bond and Yohei Takaoka this week. Both have favourable home matchups against Sporting Kansas City and D.C. United respectively. Neil Pierre is away on international duty, so I’ll likely transfer him out for a Seattle defender.
- Manu Duah, Anthony Markanich, Maxwell Woledzi and Mathías Laborda make up the rest of my defence. In midfield, Cavan Sullivan is also away on international duty, so he’ll likely make way for Albert Rusnák. Guilherme, Nico Fernández Mercau and Carles Gil should all remain in my team.
- I’m also tempted to move Valiente on for Sporting Kansas City’s André Luiz. All three of my forwards are away on international duty this week, so changes are needed. With Dejan Joveljić unavailable, Danny Musovski appeals as a one-week punt. Brian White and Preston Judd also appeal this week, so both are in contention to come into my team.
