Javier Hernandez is available and seems set to continue alongside Wayne Rooney up front for Sir Alex Ferguson’s league leaders as Man United look to maintain their 100% record with a tricky test at Stoke. Rio Ferdinand could return in central defence, whilst Chris Smalling will be hoping to shake off a groin injury. Tony Pulis’ side are without Kenwyne Jones who’s nursing a sore hamstring; Cameron Jerome and Peter Crouch should lead the line, unless Pulis decides to move Jonathan Walters from his recent role on the wing.

Daniel Sturridge is ruled out for Chelsea‘s visit of Swansea, but should be back next week. His absence opens the door for Nicolas Anelka to come in up front with Fernando Torres and Juan Mata in the three-pronged attack. Didier Drogba is another option for Andre Villas-Boas but with no game time since his concussion at Norwich, the Ivorian might have to make do with a substitute role. Brendan Rodgers must decide whether to recall the recovered Danny Graham or prolong Leroy Lita’s outing as the Swans’ lone forward.

Bacary Sagna is fit for Arsenal after overcoming a knock picked up in the defeat at Blackburn, but Yossi Benayoun is sidelined. Rafael Van der Vaart should slot back into the Spurs’ lineup, although Benoit Assou-Ekotto is a doubt with illness and Niko Kranjcar is ruled out. Darren Bent is out for Villa, who could welcome back the 50/50-rated Jermaine Jenas. David Goodwillie and Morten Gamst Pedersen are back in contention for Blackburn, but will Steve Kean find space on his team-sheet for the pair?

Buckle in to the driver’s seat and stay abreast with the latest injury reports, selection rumours and our predicted lineups over at Team News. News updates continue to flash through our ever-dependable Twitter feed, direct from the clubs and media.

Curious as to what folks think about my team. I haven't had Rooney, Aguero or Dzeko all season and I'm sticking with it. I'm counting on those guys to quiet down a bit, and I'm counting on my differentials to make up some ground. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen, and my season's probably lost. But I'm giving it a shot.

    Krul | Ruddy

    Phil Jones | Warnock | W. Brown | Simpson | Senderos

    A. Young | Arteta | Silva | Mata | Moses

    Odemwingie | Adebayor | Suarez

Senderos will be gone over the next couple of weeks. Odemwingie is on a short leash. And I'll switch Krul or Ruddy for a better keeper rotation eventually.

But I feel like it's a diversified team with few rotation issues that will get me solid, but not spectacular returns over the long haul. Slow and steady wins the race?

There's no stand-out captain choice such as Rooney, Aguero, RvP (hopefully...), but other than that looks good. At some stage I'd lose one of your 4 big mids and upgrade one of the forwards to Rooney - maybe next week for Norwich at home?

Thanks, 66. I'll consider that. I just hate to jump on the Rooney bandwagon so late. All it can do is help me keep up, it can't help me gain ground.

Of course, not having him can certainly cause me to fall farther. Much farther.

Utd have a glut of CBs when everyone's fit. He'd be fifth choice for me, behind Vidic, Rio, Jones and Smalling, but he could be a decent short term punt.

How about Wes Brown, rotates perfectly home and away with R Taylor (who will probably lose his place when Santon (or is it Santos) is fit.)

QPR havent scored a goal at home all season (and i dont remember them scoring that many at home last season either…)

I'm in the same boat, I'll start with Ruddy. Should have a chance of a pen save at least 😉

But when I wildcard, he's gone - no point having good rotation if one of the players never keeps a cleanie, home or away...

      Go for it.
Bent's out for the next game and Dzeko is more of a rotation risk than Aguero imo.
Your new midfield is a big improvement and packed with quality.
      You got my vote.

My only concern is Evans. Rio's back and Jones is looking great. He won't get many games.

long term hes not a great option. i think he will play this week unless SAF sticks fabio at RB.
dont see ferd playing this week.
ill just get rid for brown or another 4.5er next week

Krul and Simpson? I'd switch one.

    (c) RVP or Rooney ?

No Dzeko or Sguero, so these two are my choices..

Leaning towards Rooney, do you think so?

No, neither are a sensible (C) choice.

My other choices are Adebayor, A.young, silva.
I think those two Rs are my best for this gw.

Would captain Aguero but so will everybody else. Mata (C) for the differential?

Cabaye, Barton or SWP for the next 2 gameweeks? Thinking Cabaye myself.
