        Yup, when I used to play these, I played the same one for years, only when there were big technical advances I bought the new one. I even completely enjoy starting from an earlier year.

        People have talked about FM2015 being a constant injury nightmare, have you experienced this?

      Been a weird season so far hasnt it? The consolation is surely the big hitters cant continue to keep blanking can they?

      The question is how long do you keep the faith? I am a big Sanchez fan. Love him, but I dont care how many times he has hit the post or how 'due' he is, no goals in 5 is not good enough. Likewise Aguero.

      Swapping them for Barkley and Vardy just seems wrong though.

        Finished 35k last season, currently 1.8mil.. Probably as have had Sanchez and aguero most of season and not had mahrez! Difficult to know whether to stick or twist... Odd season so far that's for sure.

        I'm with you. Just under 1m finally after top 1700 last year and 30 pts behind in ML although I've nothing tomorrow. Cant remember a ML ever that's had 60 pts separating top to bottom out of 24 after 5 weeks. I reckon Sanchez, Aguero, Silva, etc will come good now sooner rather than later. Chelsea less sure.

        Keep the faith for now. We're talking 3 places in our starting 11 plus a captain at the moment and if the right 2 big hitters come good next week, everything will be normal again.

          In my opinion, if you don't plan to play a 5th mid he should never be 5M. You are leaving 0.5m on the table then. If you rotate him with a 3rd striker or other 4th mid, different story - but has never been my strategy.

          Hoolahan is a quality footballer though.

            Happens more than you think ...

            And yes the occasional week when you don't want to start your 4th mid vs a strong team like man city and your 5th mid has an easy fixture

            Of course when heavy hitters are identified will prob get back to a 4.5 mid

              I play a 3-4-3 consistently so disagree about them "coming in handy," because I almost always have 2 defenders on the bench - and usually one of them is either at home, or has a decent matchup so they are almost always my first sub - because clean sheet potential is more likely than cheap midfielder potential in my opinion.

              For example, Targett was first sub for me today and returned 7 points - so if I had Silva/Sterling (didn't have either) would have had him sub in.

              As you mention - its more of a "Style" discussion than anything else. I try to maximize points on the field and rarely rotate/bench attackers due to fixtures. The teams in the PL are so good, that anyone can score against anyone at any time - so if I've invested in 4 good miss and 3 strikers, those 7 will never be benched for me…

              I have done this for 10 years and it's worked pretty well, but of course some people prefer a more "Active" management style of rotation - which I think can be frustrating sometimes. I prefer to avoid those emotional swings and just have a 5th midfielder who plays and is 4.5m in the case of extreme emergency - to come in and grab 2 points.
