Granville was expected to miss this week’s Scoutcast. Flagged as a 25% doubt, we drafted in Andy off the bench in preparation for our resident Mancunian to go AWOL as he wallowed in the misery of his 30-point Gameweek.

To his great credit, he proved us wrong.

Granville crashes in from the off to join Andy, Jonty and myself in another episode that he describes as “cathartic experience”, as he rolls out the full directors cut of his woeful tale from Gameweek 15.

Spouting such gems as “someone has to be unlucky and it has to be me”, Granville adds an essential ingredient to a packed and lively session.

It’s helped along by Jonty’s endorsement of “playing the percentages”, roughly translated as the “Dullard’s methodology 101”, which has the four of us at loggerheads.

Once the dust settles on that debate, we tackle further questions from the community, featuring Jonty’s latest love letter to Aaron Ramsey, before rounding off with our preview of Gameweek 16.

This episode of the Scoutcast was first aired live via our YouTube channel. To view that full broadcast you can click on the player below.

If you prefer the slightly buffed up audio flavor, you’ll need this link or the smaller player.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for updates on new episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Anyone else with Hazard? Doesn't capture points but:
    -Was terrific on Wednesday
    -Differential
    -Monday night
    -I think Chelsea will win 2-0

    A) Play Hazard, bench Alli
    B) Play Hazard and gamble with Vardy bench
    C) Coutinho will be taken off after 60-70 and only collect 2 or 3 pts
    D) Bench Hazard

    What to do with this 'orrible lot:

    Butland / Hennessy
    Rose / Kelly / Cathcart / Moreno / Berty
    Sterling / Bolasie / Willian / Mahrez / Ozil
    Lukaku / Kane / Aguero

    2 FTs, 0.5m ITB

    Depending on whether Aguero is likely to be fit, I'm thinking maybe...

    Willian -> Silva
    Aguero -> Giroud

    Maybe a cheeky Coutinho. Words of wisdom would be appreciated!

      Willian doesn't cover a top striker, so get shot and never go back. Then get a striker as Kun looks unlikely. Kun/Willian> Iggy or Var and trade the 5th down to a BOU sub 5 bud.

    Presuming Kun is passed fit for the Arsenal game, will most be looking to bring him in after that? And do you see him starting in all 3 games(Sunderland, Leicester, Watford)

    Also: Kane( Nor, Wat, Eve), Vardy(Liv, Mci, Bou), Lukaku(New, Stk, Tot)

    Which of these 3 would you sell?

    1. theeribert

          Doesn't hurt that he's cheap but honestly I actually want to keep him. I had him in before most people and I think he's a really good goalscorer so he's staying. Plus that my midfield has 5 players that can all start so maybe I'll play a 3-5-2 when Ighalo gets a really tough game.

        That's the main concern probably. But there's a risk of KDB getting injured as well.

      I think so. He oozes class and has always been a solid fantasy asset. Will play no. 10 too whereas KdB is out wide

      I liked it. Granville bravely faces the music after an horrendous ganmeweek and Jonty ribs him. Jonty puts forward his latest dullard strategy and Granville scoffs at it. It's all good fun.

    Butland
    Alderweireld Moreno Kolarov
    Ozil KdB Barkley Mahrez
    Lukaku Vardy Ighalo

    Schwarzer Bolasie Naughton Browning

    Wanted to remove Kyle Naughton (finally) but I really don't know who to bring in with Smalling's injury (I removed Rojo for Moreno last week that's why no Man Utd defender). Also my three defenders have plum home games so I don't know whether I want to bench any of them.

    So, save? How about removing Bolasie for Coutinho? (Though that'd mean benching Mahrez/Vardy this GW and later on Ighalo maybe, I'm a Chelsea fan and that 2-0 win fills me up with hope coz it was our only performance this ssn where I couldn't complain :D)

    Have a front 8 of

    Ozil, Mahrez, KDB, Hazard (Hoolahan)
    Kane, Vardy, Lukaku

    £1.7m 1FT

    What to do
    Hoolahan -> Alli (benching headache)
    Hazard -> Ramsey

    Really think Ramsey and Alli are great options this week. Only bought Hazard a week ago for 4 fixtures but after watching the Bournemouth match it might be better to eat my humble pie and nip a bad decision in the bud sooner rather than later

      Have 2 FT and considering doing both of your transfers.

      Expect Ramsey to do better vs Villa than Haz vs Lei. If Haz does explode this weekend, can always get him in for next 2 favorable fixtures.

    Can someone try to explain to me how Willian still gets a game for Chelsea? He is even worse than Jesús Navas at City. I have always thought he was awful. I think Chelsea could be spiralling toward becoming a perma mid-table team now unless they start throwing insane money about again. Fàbregas's legs have gone, Diego Costa is nothing more than a thug who can't hack a decent league and might be leaving anyway, and to cap it all - JT is also coming to an end.
