โ†’ The 2014/15 season was Sergio Aguero's best ever for Fantasy returns. Seven of his goals/assists and 36 of his FPL points came in two meetings with which club that year? Scout Betting

Last weekend football fans nationwide enjoyed controversy and history underlined by the sublime. Red cards and historic scorelines aside, stunning passes and acrobatic goals left Fantasy managers picking up points from all over the park, although some sources perhaps more expected than others. The Fantasy Flutter bore the brunt of the snarling underdog, as the three home games featured in our picks went the way of the visitors, whilst against the odds, Grant Holt held Liverpool to a draw at Anfield.

Among this week’s Flutter for punter perusal are Kyle Walker, Scott Sinclair, Jon Walters and Nicklas Bendtner. No heavy-hitters this time around, not in the individual markets at least. Rafael Van der Vaart, David Silva and Nani grace Paddy’s books in the โ€œWho will score the most goalsโ€ special though. Read on to find who we twist or stick on in this weekโ€™s Fantasy Flutter.

Kyle Walker seems to be one of Spurs’ busiest players this season, oft featuring in Harry’s Europa eleven and now a mainstay at the back for his league campaign. For Fantasy managers Walker’s been pretty handy – he’s picked up more than five points in four of his last six matches – and seems to be gaining momentum despite a lack of clean sheets. He faces a buoyant QPR after a stuttering win over 9-man Chelsea, but with former Spurs hot potato Adel Taarabt causing a rift in the dressing room, the spurs defence may hold firm despite the injuries. Kyle Walker not to get booked with a Spurs clean sheet at 11/8 opens our wallets for a couple of quid.

Scott Sinclair often carries the attacking threat for Swansea and although heโ€™s had to rely on spot-kicks to convert so far, he clearly has goals in his locker. Swansea have not yet conceded in a home match this season, and picked up five goals to boot, so all of Paddyโ€™s Sinclair markets look tempting. Sinclair avoiding a booking with a Swansea cleanie has already popped up four times this season. However, weโ€™ll take the Sinclair to score from the spot or free-kick at 9/2 for a ยฃ1 stake.

Jon Walters looks a hot property for the month ahead, as this weekโ€™s Watchlist revealed. The Stoke man has contributed goals, assists, cleanies and bonus points this term to offer fine Fantasy value. He faces a resolute and intimidating Newcastle side this weekend, who have edged confidently into the top four and seem intent on staying there. Goals could be at a premium in this one but weโ€™ll slap a quid on Walters fetching an assist at 11/4.

Not everyone would associated Nicklas Bendtner with the word ‘talent’ – although he certainly would. Even the skeptics must admit that his spell at Sunderland has been nothing but a success story so far. Every game he’s started, bar one, he has contributed with either a goal or an assist. Confidence flows as Villa visit the Stadium of Light then, making Bendtner for an anytime goal at 2/1 a bankable prospect for ยฃ2 of our money.

Although all of the above are decent prospects, they perhaps boast potential rather than proven Fantasy credentials. This is certainly not the case for the next bunch in the โ€œWho will score the mostโ€ special market.

Rafael Van der Vaart has made a slow start to the season, but with five goals in his last four games he’s definitely in top gear now. Cityโ€™s magician, David Silva, faces Wolves at home, while Nani will be looking to be instrumental in the United backlash when he visits Goodison. Although all have shown form this season, Van der Vaart looks unstoppable right now, even if Harry cuts his pitch time once again. Our last ยฃ4 will ride on the Dutchman at 5/4, as we back the Captain poll winner to come good.

Money Back Specials

Paddy go to Stamford Bridge for this week’s top Money Back Special. If there’s a Red Card in the Chelsea vs Arsenal clash, Paddy Power will refund all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the game.

The same applies to the matches at White Hart Lane and the Briannia – if there’s a red card in either of those games, Paddy are refunding all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast single on the match in question.

so undecided on what to do. was goona take van p out for ageuro but not so sure due to various factors, including scout picks and the likleyhood of mancini resting players. it is just for one week and i dont need a free transfer or anything so does anyone think its worthwhile for a week or will someone else out score them? have roon and ade already. oh yeah and who to captain? rooney differential im thinking.

I'd leave RVP. I reckon he'll nab something at the Bridge. Your front 3 is excellent. Of course, there's so many choices. Don't cappo Roo. Out of form, he faces his old admirers and it's early kick off.

      It's not a differential.

With such high ownership, he'll never been a differential as those that don't manage their teams may have in as capt from day one as we saw a couple of weeks ago. Stick with RVP. I'm desperately trying go avoid the urge to get a MCI striker and am bricking it Bout what Kun can do. RVP will do you right today and for thd next 2 months!

Morning all you good good people.

Have I lost the plot to be considering selling Bosingwa for 5.9m ( bought him at 5.5m) to purchase Wilkinson from STK? The additional capital would be reinvested on the purchases of Rooney and RVP in the next couple of weeks. I'd bd shipping out Suarez, and more worryingly Sturridge, to accommodate.

    Any opinions welcomed. Thanks!

Your raising funds for captaincy choices. 5 CS in the last 2 GWs reflect that defenders aren't worth it. Captaincies are where this game is won and lost.

Go for it. Bos could do well, but you're never going to captain him with any confidence.

I really don't understand anyone asking about helping captain and VC choices. One, there's a big thing called the captain poll on the homepage. Two, the point of the game is to figure out how to win it yourself. Asking for an opinion is okay, but not asking people to make your own choices for you

thinking of it now, everybody who is keeping suarez is mainly for the swansea game, but what if king kenny rests him before the two bg games they have?
especially that swansea are known to be a small team and caroll, for once, can be handy.

Meant to write this here and not on last post!

Any scouts about? Im sure I mentioned this before but one of the best regular articles that ye used to do, and I really miss, is the one where ye rounded up all the predicted line ups from the papers and then gave your prediction!

Any reason why ye stopped doing that? I for one would love to see it back!

The pre-match preamble - yep, it's something I'd like to bring back. It got dropped because Saturday mornings were often spent sorting servers and other boring non-editorial tasks. It's something I could look at again now - I liked it too, but it would involve 7am starts on a Saturday again ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Wildcard team, views most welcome:

Vorm, ruddy Wilkinson, clichy, k walker, simpson, brown Silva, VDV, anderson, tchoyi, walters RVP, Aguero, sturridge.

I know clichy is expensive but I’ve had him since the 1st wk and he’s been one of my best defenders. Can’t think who else to get in a similar bracket for long term. Is anderson likely to get starts? Is my mid strong enough?

Anderson for Walters and Clichy for someone cheap to give you some pocket money and you're good to go.
