Yohan Cabaye is expected to be fit for Palace’s clash with Villa, despite picking up a knock. Yannick Bolasie and Dwight Gayle remain on the sidelines, whilst Connor Wickham is back in training but not match fit.
Micah Richards “should” recover from the ankle knock sustained against Wycombe in the weekend FA Cup draw, Remi Garde has confirmed. Alan Hutton and Carlos Sanchez are both ruled out of the home encounter against Palace.
Arsene Wenger has conceded that Alexis Sanchez is sidelined for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool, though the Chilean “has a chance” of making Sunday’s home encounter with Stoke. David Ospina will need to be assessed, whilst Tomas Rosicky returns to first-team training this week.
Bastian Schweinsteiger is set to miss United’s trip to Newcastle. Louis van Gaal has also revealed he will assess his players’ energy levels for signs of fatigue before selecting his starting XI, though Adnan Januzaj isn’t ready to play after his loan to Dortmund was cancelled.

Slaven Bilic has confirmed he is “99% sure” that Dimitri Payet will start for West Ham at Bournemouth tonight. Victor Moses is back in training but won’t be in the squad, whilst the Hammers boss hopes Enner Valencia and Cheikhou Kouyate will be available after both picked up knocks against Liverpool.
Sunderland have concerns over captain John O’Shea for tomorrow’s trip to Swansea. The Irishman – who picked up a calf problem during the weekend loss at Arsenal – is the Wearsiders’ only new injury worry.
Tony Pulis is hopeful that Jonas Olsson and Victor Anichebe will recover from hamstring injuries in time for the Baggies trip to Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening.
