Palace expect Yohan Cabaye to be fit for this evening’s encounter with Villa. Liverpool’s problems at centre-half could be easing up, Bournemouth are still waiting on clearance for a couple of new boys ahead of West Ham’s visit, whilst Dimitri Payet is almost certain to start at Dean Court tonight. Here’s the news from the press conferences so far…

Yohan Cabaye is expected to be fit for Palace’s clash with Villa, despite picking up a knock. Yannick Bolasie and Dwight Gayle remain on the sidelines, whilst Connor Wickham is back in training but not match fit.

Micah Richards “should” recover from the ankle knock sustained against Wycombe in the weekend FA Cup draw, Remi Garde has confirmed. Alan Hutton and Carlos Sanchez are both ruled out of the home encounter against Palace.

Arsene Wenger has conceded that Alexis Sanchez is sidelined for Arsenal’s trip to Liverpool, though the Chilean “has a chance” of making Sunday’s home encounter with Stoke. David Ospina will need to be assessed, whilst Tomas Rosicky returns to first-team training this week.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is set to miss United’s trip to Newcastle. Louis van Gaal has also revealed he will assess his players’ energy levels for signs of fatigue before selecting his starting XI, though Adnan Januzaj isn’t ready to play after his loan to Dortmund was cancelled.

Eddie Howe has revealed he is still awaiting confirmation from the Premier League as to whether new signings Benik Afobe and Juan Iturbe will be available to face West Ham.

Claudio Ranieri is optimistic on Jamie Vardy’s chances of playing a part in Leicester’s clash with Tottenham. The Foxes have no new injury concerns, with Jeffrey Schlupp and Matty James still unavailable for selection.

Jurgen Klopp expects to have Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure available for the visit of Arsenal. Jordon Ibe has shrugged off a weekend illness, whilst Jordan Henderson is likely to recover from a heel problem in time for tomorrow’s match. Divock Origi has been ruled out for another month after undergoing minor knee surgery.

Fabricio Coloccini is set for a late fitness test after sustaining a hamstring problem in the weekend cup loss at Watford. Jack Colback has returned to training and could be available, whilst Kevin Mbabu and Florian Thauvin are both nursing knocks ahead of the St James’ Park clash.

Slaven Bilic has confirmed he is “99% sure” that Dimitri Payet will start for West Ham at Bournemouth tonight. Victor Moses is back in training but won’t be in the squad, whilst the Hammers boss hopes Enner Valencia and Cheikhou Kouyate will be available after both picked up knocks against Liverpool.

Sunderland have concerns over captain John O’Shea for tomorrow’s trip to Swansea. The Irishman – who picked up a calf problem during the weekend loss at Arsenal – is the Wearsiders’ only new injury worry.

Tony Pulis is hopeful that Jonas Olsson and Victor Anichebe will recover from hamstring injuries in time for the Baggies trip to Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tonight’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Tuesday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Tuesday 'What the bookies say' preview:

Villa vs Palace - 1-2 - Villa have not won in 9 home games, Palace have 5 away from home which is 3rd highest in league. Villa have a GD of -21, Traore is out, Hutton is a doubt. Villa have a shot conversion rate if 5.5% at home. Palace 7/5 to win is a tasty price.

Bournemouth vs West Ham - over 2.5 goals - Hone side unbeaten in last 3 games, however, 10 goals in their 9 home games is 3rd worst in the league with 9 big chances created 2 worst. Smith has 28 tackles which is 6 more than any other defender in the last 6 games. Antonio has 27 penalty box touches, 15 shots, 2 goals and 7 chances created in the last 6 games.

Newcastle vs Manchester United - 0-1- Newcastle have lost 4 consecutive games 1-0. The magpies have the 2nd worst record for crosses against in the league. Janmaat still sits 4th in defenders for crosses, 2nd for through balls and 5th for assists. Man Utd have scored 4 goals with just 22 shots on target in the last 6 games. Prediction - under 2.5 goals

West Ham are 3.80 to beat Bournemouth and even 1.80 Double chance X2.

Also Stoke look like a decent bet at 2.05 and maybe Palace at 3.20 if I remember well.

      Palace at 3.20? Surely not?

Palace at Double Chance could be worth a shot in an acca. See what I can cook up.

I don't fancy Stoke, tbh. Norwich look like they could pull something out of nowhere to grab a point or 3 even.

    Butland

Hi Guys, anything worth changing? I have 1ft and £6.8m in the bank, I don't mind a -4ph as am 71 points clear in my league.

    Butland - (Hennessey)

    Alder - Bellerin - Simpson - (Moreno - Dawson)

    Payet(c) - KDB - Ozil - Mahrez - (Westwood)

    Kane - Lukaku - Ighalo

why are you holding on to westwood with 6.8 in the bank?
Alli could be a cheap 5th and still leave you alot in the bank.

Considering clean sheet odds are 2.70 (17/10) for Bournemouth - West Ham , and 3.30 (23/10) for Liverpool - Arsenal: would you play Francis over Bellerin, or rely on Bellerin attacking threat?

    Butland (McCarthy)
Kolarov - Bellerin - Moreno (Morgan, Targett)
    Silva - KDB - Ozil - Payet - Mahrez
    Ighalo - Kane - Lukaku

Q3. KDB cap material (Ighalo VC)

    Currently my team is:

    Butland/Myhill
    Dann/Simpson/Moreno/Nyom/Ogbonna
    Silva/Ozil/Mahrez/Willian/Walcott
    Giroud/Kane/Lukaku

    Thanks beforehand

Season defining game week for Jonny big balls here!

Sold Lukaku for Aguero(c). I reason that Luka has two tough away games, Aguero two winnable home games, I'm hoping he outscores Luka comfortably. In the meantime I couldn't justify selling Sterling, Walcott or Vardy this week. Hopefully with two FT's next week again I can get Luka back for Swansea(h) and will just have to decide which of Kane or Vardy make way. Of course if you got Luka early this is a difficult thing to do, but as I got him at 9.2m had nothing to lose really...

Fingers crossed and good luck all!

Lukaku is back after 2 "hard" fixtures .. if he plays versus City, he will score 🙂 They are poor at the back without Kompany. And next game is Chelsea .. how extra motivated can he even get? 🙂

Well I prefer Kane for the two home games. I will prob do Sterling out Alli in, and Vardy out for Aguero next week.

          We shall see!

City could easily thump Everton 5-1. I'm equipped with Sterling and Aguero for that.

Chelsea could also easily grind out a 1 or 2-0 win as well!

Lads I'm having a nightmare deciding who to fit into my front 7...

    Currently:

Ali, Ozil, Arny, De Bruyne, Payet
    Kane & Aguero

    Bench - Ighalo.

Any suggestions? Not really sure I can afford to bench Ighalo against leaky Saints!

Payet. West Ham have an awful habit of falling flat on their faces every time they start to look dominant

I would bench Payet and play the in-form Igloo on the basis Payet is just returning.
