Robin Van Persie may have stolen the headlines last week with an emphatic hat-trick away to Chelsea, but in the Flutter stakes, our attention was drawn elsewhere. After dodging the clean-sheet jinx, Scott Sinclair fired home his third penalty of the season, and in turn our second spot-kick payout from Paddy Power.

A rare ninety minutes and a well deserved goal also brought Rafael Van der Vaart home in our “Who Will Score Most” special. So with stake in hand – and profit in the back pocket – we take a look at how Paddy have priced this week’s Fantasy Flutter selection

After calmly netting a penalty to complete his second hat-trick of the season, Demba Ba is a man on fire. His eight goals this season have come in only 551 minutes of football, 209 minutes less than league top scorer Robin Van Persie’s 10, making Ba a strong favourite to find the net against Everton. He’s not just great value for Fantasy managers, Paddy have posted some tempting markets too. “To score inside the 6-yard box” at 7/2 is a tasty proposition considering Ba’s poaching qualities, but “To score a header” at 15/2 takes our first £2 stake.

Luis Suarez is next up, as Swansea visit Anfield. The Swans have played tidy football this season at home, but have leaked goals to clubs up and down the table on their travels. Suarez will likely start with Andy Carroll once more, an attacking partnership that grows with every game, and should be in amongst the goals here.

Paddy are offering odds on a Suarez double at 11/4, but other markets on his penalty box theatrics are also tempting us. “To be fouled and win a penalty” at 7/1 – an event that helped see to the Baggies last week – isn’t a bad offering. However, £1 for Phil Dowd to set an example and “book the Uruguayan for simulation” at 9/1 is a cheeky one; a risk worth taking given all the noise going into the game surrounding Suarez.

Robin Van Persie is without doubt a central figure in our Fantasy thinking. His ability from open play and the dead ball is lauded, and Paddy’s offer of 9/4 to score from outside of the box against West Brom deserves £2 of our money. If you’re feeling a bit blasé with your cash, then you could take him to score more than one goal, with Paddy offering 8/1 on the Dutchman scoring with both his left and right foot against the Baggies.

Jamie O’Hara has only really had one notable Fantasy return this season, a goal in the 2-2 draw with Swansea last time out at Molineux,. An inspiration to Wolves, O’Hara has nonetheless caught the eye and could be played just behind striker Kevin Doyle when struggling Wigan roll up this weekend. To score anytime at 10/3 for £1.50 seems a bit short for his statistics in the campaign thus far, only taking one goal in ten, but if he’s going to double his season’s haul, Wigan are surely the prime candidates to suffer an O’Hara strike.

Finally our Special bet this week is for the in form Dutch duo to find the target against Fulham and West Brom. I’m not needed to pour over the details here, as Van der Vaart and Van Perise’s form and statistics point to only one thing this weekend, goals. For a Dutch Double – a anytime goal apiece for both Van Persie and Van der Vaart, Paddy are offering 10/3, which will take our final £3.50.

Money Back Specials

This week’s Money Back offers start at St James’ Park where Paddy are paying back if Demba Ba comes good. If Ba scores the last goal, Paddy will refund all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match.

There’s a similar special on offer with another of our Flutter selection this week. If Van der Vaart scores the last goal at Craven Cottage, Paddy Power will refund all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the game.

Finally, Paddy are predicting goals at Loftus Road and are happy to pay back if that proves to be the case. If there are more than four goals scored between QPR and City, Paddy Power will refund all losing 1st /last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match.

If you’re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly

          RVP by a mile.
I,ve (v) Suarez but only in case Aguero doesn't see much action. I've cap Rvp and he will have another double fig week this week.
Redshite will choose carroll over kuyt to partner Suarez which will cause problems but disrupt suarez's game.
Rvp, Aguero if you have him and Suarez in that order

Haha only one problem with that theory all but one of Suarez's goals have come with Carroll on the pitch or something to that effect.

Not quite, but I see your point.
My point is that Carroll has to make an impact in his mind and he will be playing a different game today. It won't let Suarez flow and the game will be closer than it should be. Swans not a phsh over. Suarez may score but 1-0 leaves no room for double digit points week with no assists. RVP has a brace in him at least and possibly more.

Strange for Manx to do that type of "celebration" before the match???

Then former foes Bruce does SAF a favour and plays the usual "roll over and feck me" football and up pops Wes "i'm always good for an OG" Brown with a gift of his own to thank SAF for the years he spent doing nothing yet collecting medals each year.

cynic......well Phil Neville scored an OG aswell v Manx - it must be in the contract!
