Yes, that’s right, crazy talk. There’s a lot of it about in this week’s ScoutCast episode – most of it originating from Mark’s chattering. Transfer in three defenders for a four point hit? Spend big money on Leighton Baines, dumping last season’s top Fantasy scorer? Has he finally lost the plot?

This is what an international break does to you. Suffering from cold turkey and with two free transfers burning away in the pocket, a Fantasy manager has to fight the jerky knee. In my own moment of madness, I even find myself trying to talk Mark out of his hasty moves.

Listen in on the lunacy, accompanied by the usual regulars, accompanied with another excavation of that Robin Van Persie assist – we just won’t let it lie.

On my wc just now, made a bit of cash which is nice, below is the current lineup...thoughts?

I am weighing up getting Lampard in for VDV, but with Spurs fixtures and dgw coming (and no other Spurs cover, probably not the best idea?)

    Krul (Vorm)

    Vermaelen Jones Enrique (Rtaylor Rangel)

    VDV Drenthe Silva Eagles (Sinclair)

    RVP Welbeck Klasnic

    RMT! Cheers

A bit bottom heavy, but i think it could prove a good differential. Only problem for me would be 2 Bolton players, they can easily have a bad game and that put 2 of your players at just 2 points each. I don't know how much Klasnic is but would it be possible for you to get Bendtner in for him. Would keep VdV also.

      Its not GWK11 anymore.

I'd definitely get Rooney as well as RVP.
Lose Vermaelen, far too expensive IMO, several better (cheap options). Also I'd get a cheapie Midfielder.

You only have two realistic captain options (RVP, VDV).

Not much wrong with that. Yet to be convinced about Drenthe particularly as Everton don't have a lot of goals in them. Was thinking of Dzeko myself but he's been rested after the previous two international breaks. Sturridge could do with a goal.

Wouldn't do the 1st one this week - I'd hold on to Nani with Utd's fixtures (unless you've got Rooney as well), and VDV is fantasy gold. Don't really think Baines is worth it either, though, would rather go for Vidic or Vermaelen.

Nani's not nailed on this GW (I think he'll start, though), but look at the next 10 fixtures. Baines need to be pretty damn good to be worth 7.8, and he seems to be missing Timmy Cahill (although Saha is good in the air too).

But then, I do fancy Norwich to hold the line at home to the Gooners; they are a one man team at present (IMO) and if Van Breakdown has a bad day at the office.......

Thanks people. Looks like I feared, really got to ditch Bosingwa and hold my breath for Balotelli. Let's hope I don't turn blue.

I have Bosingwa, Sturridge and Enrique on the bench this week - what order should I put them?

This is my team and I have 2 free changes:

      Vorm, Kenny

      Enrique, Kompany, Woodgate, N.Taylor, Simpson

      VDV, Silva, O'Hara, M.Petrov, Dyer

      Rooney, RVP, Adebayor

      I can either do:

      a)
      Brown > Enrique
      Drenthe > O'Hara
      Sess > Petrov

      for a 4pt hit.

      or

      b)
      pilkington/eagles > m.petrov (which one?)
      drenthe > o'hara

      for no hit.

      or

how much in bank? If you can swap Simpson for Raylor, keep O'Hara, McCarthy has said he's keeping 4-5-1, and that means O'Hara has a high likelihood of goals/assists, if you can get Petrov for Sess, do it, if not Eagles.

Did he really?? Thanks for that awesome bit of info. Will deffo keep O'Hara if that's the case, he's a snip at that price if he's playing further forward.

I have zero in the bank at the moment though 🙁

Would like Drenthe and/or Sess to be honest. Will see what I can do.

Also thinking of doing Westwood > Kenny.

no, but given that Raylor does fks for Newcastle he offers much greater goals and assist potential than Simpson, and this can help make up any shortfall if Newcastle don't keep a clean sheet.

Blimey - how fast are people selling VDV? Have they not seen that he's still rated at 75% to play, and that FPL's not just about one week anyway?

Agreed. That's why we have 3 subs. It's the folk who still have Ferguson and De Laet on the bench that get the jitters when 1 player is yellow flagged.

Also, he is in good form for post GW12 and it will cost to buy him back. I say hold the line, let the lad have a rest and step out in faith with a differential this week....you know it makes sense...right!

Anyone brought in Howard or thinking about it to partner Vorm? He's expensive for a side that are struggling but Everton's fixtures have eased a bit plus he rotates beautifully with Vorm. I'm not normally a fan of changing goalies when not on a WC but i'm struggling to use my transfers lately.

I'm not a fan of a keeper as expensive as Howard being used for rotation. Or a keeper as expensive as Howard full stop.

yes I am, but not for a few weeks as I have Vorm and Westwood right now and no money spare, so I have bigger priorities for the next few weeks, but after week 14 or so then yes, and his fixtures only start to turn in Jan WC period, where I can just downgrade to Krul.
