Romelu Lukaku is added to Everton’s list of doubts for the visit of Southampton. Salomon Rondon is passed fit for West Brom’s clash with Watford, Quique Sanchez Flores hints at rotation for the Hornets ahead of the FA Cup semi-finals, whilst Marko Arnautovic is expected to return in time for Stoke’s Monday night showdown with Spurs.

Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley, Aaron Lennon and Leighton Baines will be assessed ahead of Everton’s home clash with Southampton, Roberto Martinez has confirmed. Lukaku has been nursing a groin problem, which was aggravated against Palace in midweek, and will be monitored after he failed to train yesterday. The Toffees are without injured pair Tom Cleverley and Phil Jagielka, whilst James McCarthy is suspended. With one eye also on the upcoming FA Cup semi-final, Martinez has also hinted that “one or two youngsters” could be handed a chance against the Saints due to the injury situation.

Arsene Wenger has no new injury concerns ahead of the home encounter against Palace. The Gunners boss has revealed that Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could “maybe” be back next week, though neither has returned to full training yet. Jack Wilshere and Tomas Rosicky continued their recoveries with run-outs for the reserves yesterday.

Villa’s Gabby Agbonlahor has been ruled out for the next two weeks. Caretaker manager Eric Black has confirmed that the forward will undergo a personal fitness programme to improve his match sharpness.

Steven Davis has recovered from an ankle problem in time for Southampton’s clash with Everton. Charlie Austin is sidelined with a minor knee injury, whilst Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Shane Long is fully fit after being forced off with dizziness last weekend.

Swansea have no injury worries ahead of their trip to Newcastle, with Leon Britton back in contention after recovering from a back complaint.

Big Sam has no injury problems to contend with for Sunderland’s vital trip to Norwich, with Duncan Watmore passed fit after a couple of months on the sidelines.

West Brom’s Salomon Rondon has recovered from the back injury that forced him off early against Man City last weekend. Alex Pritchard (hip) joins James Morrison on the sidelines as the Baggies welcome Watford to the Hawthorns.

Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores has confirmed his intentions to rotate the squad over double Gameweek 34, with one eye on the FA Cup semi-final encounter with Palace a week on Sunday.

Marko Arnautovic “should be okay” for Stoke’s clash with Spurs on Monday after missing out last week with a back problem. Erik Pieters serves the first of a two-match ban, whilst fellow left-back Marc Muniesa hasn’t trained since Monday and remains doubtful. Mark Hughes is optimistic on Glenn Whelan’s chances of recovery, though the midfielder has yet to fully train over the last few days.

Junior Stanislas could be in line to return for Bournemouth this weekend after stepping up his recovery from a hamstring injury. Benik Afobe, Harry Arter and Adam Smith remain on the sidelines.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

    Robles / Darlow
    Bellerin / Gabriel / Dann / Janmaat / Sakho
    Payet / Countiho / Barkley / Bolasie / Sanchez
    Trollkaku / Aguero / Wickham

    Wickham > Martial
    Barkley > Alli
    Bolasie > Drinkwater (-4pts)

    Thoughts? Any better ideas? 20pts behind league leader.

      Is he a better option then Smalling? If he sarts both then he seems more attacking. I can afford either but am not sure the expensive Smalling is even a better choice!

    Changing my mind round to a Triple Captaincy decision, therefore need to work out who to bench.

    As Martinez has given nothing concrete away, bench Barkley or Bolasie?

    Also, those with Sakho or Lovren and not bench boosting, there is an argument to play your Leicester defender over them? Can’t see either of them playing Bournemouth game and then they have Everton in a derby which usually has goals. So Leicester to grind another out?

    Choose 1:

    A) Delaney -> Man Utd Defender (6.0) (-4)

    or

    B) Robles -> De Gea (-4)

    C) Save

    Have been planning to tripple capt sanchez this week, and think I'll stick with that plan, question is, how to use my 2FTs? Thinking:
    A) Forster --> Migs, Mahrez --> Milner
    B) Take a hit to get Cout in for Marez (downgrade Forster and Fuchs to cheapy's)
    C) Forster -->Migs, Mahrez/Alli --> Lazinni

    Current team:
    Forster // Hennessey
    Bellerin // Fuchs // Toby // Delaney // Targett
    Alexis (C) // Ozil // Mahrez // Payet // Alli
    Kun // Kane // Lukaku

    Your wisdom would be much appreciated!

    Re-posting

    Lukaku being a doubt might be a blessing in disguise for us. Martial could be great.

    Lets not underestimate how good a fixture Villa(H) is. Palace(H) is just the icing on the cake.

    And United need 6 pts from those 2 games..

        Wasn't there an article some while back how rotations are a lot more common towards Week 37? There are no guarantees that there will be more absent players now than at 37. This week still looks the best choice imo.

    REPOST... New article

    Ok, so, I've pushed the button on Bolasie > Lanzini, and I now look like this (Bench Boosting):

    Hart - Gomes
    Bellerin - Fuchs - Sakho - Gabriel - Delaney
    Sanchez - De Bruyne - Payet - Coutinho - Lanzini
    Aguero - Kane - Mitrovic

    1.6M ITB 0FT

    Anything worth a hit, or good to go?

        It's a Liverpool Supporters Club league, and the organisers impose it. Annoys me to be fair, but my main cash ML is a subset of that league, and there's a decent prize for the wider one too.

        I'm currently top of the smaller league and 3rd in the wider league (was top till last week!!)

                It is indeed! I know you're not supposed to, but I am working with different rules. Suppose it's only the same is being in a draft league too.

                And surprisingly, I'm doing better tan my goldfish. 46k > 75k

    Good day all!

    Here`s my team for gw34 atm, 0,0 itb, 1 ft. Can currently field 8 for gw35.
    Mignolet (Robles)
    Monreal Sakho Gabriel (Simpson Delaney)
    Lanzini Coutinho Sanchez(c) Payet (Bolasie)
    Martial Aguero Lukaku

    Would like to offload CP assets, Iwobi would be a great pick but not keen on taking a hit to get him as I already have 3 from Arsenal. Also would like to get ManUtd defensive coverage. Thoughts on whether to take a hit to get Utd coverage (or someone else), make 1 ft or should I just save to get 2ft for gw35?All ideas appreciated!

    Oh, and the plan is to bench boost this gw but thinking that tc sanchez could give a better result..

    Thoughts would be aprpeciated, I've answered quite a few on the last page:

    Bolasie > Milner for 4pts looks a good option, but I'm short on cash so I need to do one of the below for another hit:

    a) Dann > PVA - con is that PVA doesn't have DGW
    b) Lukaku > Origi - con is Lukaku is an FPL troll and highly owned

      • 10 Years

      I'm currently considering a similar move for Milner only with Lennon instead.

      No, i wouldnt do any of those due to hits galore.

      I am looking at shipping Bolasie, but wont take that many hits.
      Dann should go soon, but maybe save for this GW.

    So many problems,

    Will Firmino/Coutinho feature in 2 back to back games with the Europa League Semi-Final looming?

    Will Lukaku be rested now he's carrying an injury and the FA cup is looming?

    Is Iwobi nailed on?

    Is Gabriel nailed on?

    Is Darmian going to feature or will Fosu Mensah have 2 games?

    Will Rashford get two games now with Rooney back in the picture?

    Will Aguero feature in both games now he has the Champions League to focus on and not so much the league?

    Anyone care to tackle these?

      Will surely get some rest in 35 before EL
      Wont play 180, isn't on form either but Trollkaku could hunt us
      His place to loose for now
      Not nailed but should play
      No one knows, but Fosu could be worth it as an enabler
      He will feature in both, yes.
      Surely get some kind of rest in 35 before CL

      Just my thoughts

      I will try my very best;
      Both will be rotated.
      I think he will play both league games also.
      Not nailed with Ramsey coming back.
      Gabriel is definitely nailed. Mertersacker is dead.
      Fosu Mensah play two games.
      I think Rashford will feature in both but definitely not 180mins.
      He will feature in both but not 180.
