It’s time for our final Sky Sports Focus article of the 2015/16 season this Friday afternoon.
As always, we assess the recent run of Man of the Match (MoTM) awards, bonus point beneficiaries, the transfer trends and also cast an eye over the Scout team’s progress.

Gameweek 40 Bonus Points
Seven goalkeepers picked up bonus this week. Sunderland’s Vito Mannone was the stand out once again after picking up bonus in both his fixtures – incredibly, he leads the way for keepers overall going into the final game of the season, with 18 bonus points from just 19 starts.
In defence, 12 players grabbed bonus; eight for tackles and five for completed passes. Liverpool youngster Kevin Stewart was the man to collect both. Simon Francis is the top scoring defender in terms of bonus with 28 points – nearly the equivalent of six clean sheets.
In midfield, there were 24 beneficiaries in total: 13 for tackling and 13 for passes. Cesc Fabregas managed passing bonus in both Chelsea’s fixtures and tackling bonus once to earn an additional six. His total of 70 bonus is far and away the best of any player and is the equivalent of 14 goals.
Wayne Rooney’s midfield role meant he completed four tackles this time around and picked himself up an additional two.

The Transfer Trends
Top Transfers Out
| Name | Team | Value | % of Managers |
| Huth | Leicester | 5.2 | 7.2% |
| Ozil | Arsenal | 8.4 | 6.6% |
| Alli | Tottenham | 4.0 | 6.3% |
| Kane | Tottenham | 9.3 | 4.7% |
| Drinkwater | Leicester | 4.1 | 3.6% |
Robert Huth, Del Alli and Danny Drinkwater were all subject to an exodus over the last few days, though the latter is available for selection this Sunday after serving a one-match ban in Leicester’s win over Everton. Mesut Ozil has now recovered from the hip problem that forced him to miss Arsenal’s draw at the Etihad, whilst many parted company with Harry Kane due to Tottenham’s lack of a double Gameweek last time out.
Top Transfers In
| Name | Team | Value | % of Managers |
| Defoe | Sunderland | 7.5 | 5.1% |

| Payet | West Ham | 6.2 | 3.3% |
| Noble | West Ham | 5.8 | 2.9% |
| Morgan | Leicester | 4.9 | 2.7% |
Jermain Defoe and West Ham duo Dimitri Payet and Mark Noble all featured twice in the previous round of fixtures. Wes Morgan offered Huth owners a like-for-like replacement as a route into Leicester’s defence, whilst Jamie Vardy was also a popular pick after serving a two-match suspension prior to the home encounter against Everton.

Notes
I’m currently positioned inside the top 1,000 as we head into Sunday’s final Gameweek. Compared to recent seasons, in particular, it’s been poor, though – there are always lessons to learn, of course, and hopefully I will place a little more trust in the lower-valued players next time out.
For the final Gameweek I’ll be lucky to have nine players, given that Diego Costa and Dele Alli are sidelined through injury and suspension respectively. With Alexis Sanchez still not overly popular amongst the top players, I could remain in a respectable position if I hand him the armband at home to Villa.
The Fantasy Football Scout League
Our Fantasy Football Scout League is sitting in first place in the rankings at present. With one Gameweek to go, we look set to take home the title of “Top League” once again.
The Fantasy Football Club
This Friday The Fantasy Football Club show, where you can catch new host Max Rushden and Paul Merson at 18:30 SkySports 3 where they will be discussing the upcoming week’s Fantasy Football alongside Steve Walsh and Ian Marshall who will be picking their all-time Leicester City #One2Eleven
