With his red card in the loss to Everton, itโ€™s Boltonโ€™s David Wheater who took Saturday’s disciplinary headlines. His clumsy lunge on Everton’s Diniyar Bilyaletdinov resulted in his second red of the season, earning him an immediate three-match ban which is topped up with an additional match, due to the previous red. Wheater will now serve a band from gameweeks 14 to 17 (tot, AVL, ful, bla) returning to contention on Boxing Day. Having filled in at right-back today, his absence is set to leave Bolton a little short following the injury to Joe Riley. The return of Dedryck Boyata from his own setback, can’t come soon enough for Owen Coyle.

Joining Wheater on the ban list for next weekend is Newcastle’s Jonas Gutierrez; his pair of yellows for Newcastle at Old Trafford means heโ€™ll be missing when Chelsea visit St James’ Park next weekend. Meanwhile, despite a fifth yellow for John Terry in the 3-0 win over Wolves, the Chelsea skipper will still make that fixture. Strategic or not, his one match suspension will rule him out of the Carling Cup clash with Liverpool on Tuesday making him eligible for the Newcastle clash.

On to the Suspension Tightrope, and we have a couple of willing volunteers to take Terryโ€™s vacated space, with Yohan Cabaye of Newcastle and Wolvesโ€™ Karl Henry joining party. Both earned their fourth yellows, picked up in the games against Manchester United and Chelsea respectively.

Gameweek 14 Bans

  • Antolin Alcaraz (Wigan) โ€“ FA Charge (1 remaining match)
  • David Wheater (Bolton) โ€“ 1 Red for serious foul play (First of 4 matches)
  • Jonas Gutierrez (Newcastle) โ€“ 1 Red for 2 bookings (1 match)

Suspension Tightrope – Four Bookings

  • Gabby Agbonlahor (Aston Villa)
  • Stiliyan Petrov (Aston Villa)
  • Frank Lampard (Chelsea)
  • Brede Hangeland (Fulham)
  • Steve Sidwell (Fulham)
  • Gareth Barry (Man City)
  • Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle)
  • Ryan Shawcross (Stoke)
  • Glenn Whelan (Stoke)
  • Lee Cattermole (Sunderland)
  • Karl Henry (Wolves)
  • Richard Stearman (Wolves)

Rooney has go to for me. So I have narrowed it down to:

    Hernandez
    Aguero
    Ba
    Adebayor

or I can do rooney+Sturridge--->Hernandez + Ade for a -4 with no money left over.

3 BP to Tim Krul if there is any justice in the world, Hernandez had a good few off target so doubt he'll get three.

Aye I know what you're saying regarding the new criteria for bappage, but in a 1-1 where Hernandez had more shots off target than Djemba Ba I wouldn't be suprised to see no-one get three and it to do the weird thing where a few players get 2. Happened earlier this season I believe.

We'll see I suppose. Wont be suprised if Ba, Hernandez or Krul ended up with 3 BP. Can see a Newcastle defender (any one of S.Taylor, Simpson or Coloccini) ending up with 1 BP too.

35 is cool man well done, above today's average anyway by quite a bit, can't beleive i have moved up ranking with a score of 26 today lmao!

Yeah i was gonna bring in larsson for ramsey but thought i'd leave it for time being. I cant believe moses has actually done something! lol, the bandwagon begins, or not.
Yep, it will sure make some think twice about capping RVP now, i may even cap ade next week, dunno tho, rvp is against wigan after all, think he will get the armband for me.

I have a feeling about suarez too man, would just be my luck as well, i stuck with him, i get rid and he does something. my mate transferred out walters and rooney this week lol, one scored and one assisted! ๐Ÿ™‚

Too many options up front at the moment, but it's about value for money and Ba and Adebayor certainly offer that. I have Silva from City and that is it. I'm nervous. And what the hell to do with Nani??

Yeah it definitely is form and value for money it seems, i face a tough decision between getting in chico or ba for the one called Torres lol, chico has awesome fixtures, but ba performs against anyone and also has awesome fixtures after chelsea, even in which he could score, its between those two for me.

hmmm nani, im glad i dont have him atm, but if i were to transfer him out for anyone i would be thinking young, vdv, bale, maybe even walcott if you dont have any of those which at least one im sure you will have. its a toughie tho, could always go ben arfa even? long shot, but again being there today, he looked sharp.

ive got VDV and ramsey too man, cannot beleive ramsey didnt grab anything today, unfortunate to say the least.

if i had nani i would probably do even a straight swap to young, i know its a kind of side ways move but he looked far more sharper than nani did today, and maybe even an everton midfielder? they have good fixtures coming up, i jsut dont know really, im just fed up of ramsey, im even thinking of doing mata and ba in replace of ramsey and torres, or could do the same but for walters instead. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yo Mark. Oh man Old trafford must have been proper buzzing at the end of the match today, so disappointed that they didnt win though!

Yea i was thinking that Young was looking better today and they have got really good fixtures but it depends how gabby performs tomorro, but he has got awful fixtures so sorta want to get rid of him!

Ramsey shoulda got something today, but i dont think it is viable to get rid of him when he has the wigan game. Mata did well today but thats against a weak wolves at the moment, and the chelsea fixtures arent worth getting him in for the next few in my opinion.

                    Was thinking about Chicaaa......

f*ck sake, i replied then all i got was "error connecting to database", damn site lol.

All i said was yeah chico seems a soild bet, i think im defo bringing him in next gameweek, thing is tho how far is welbeck from injury? he has to come back and spoil chico's groove at some point doesn't he? i hope he stays injured haha.

Yeah chelsea wont play wolves every week will they, my mate has mata, glad he played well tho today as it gives him incentive to keep him when most games he'll prob get nowhere near what he did today points wise, ramsey was just unfortunate i guess, yeah seems logical to keep for wigan game, then boot if he does nothing.

Mate Old trafford was immense today, when that peno was awarded the crowd were fuming! great atmosphere all the same tho, just wish we got the win.

yeah can see why getting rid of gabby seems appealing, fixtures turn gash dont they. Young should of whipped more crosses in today, was so annoyed with him, but just come back from injury, and should be firing on all cylinders next few games im hoping anyway. its a toughie with transfers for next week, and RVP this week, what a let down! Would of liked him to at least get an assist ๐Ÿ™‚

Not sure what transfer to do first. I would prefer to only do 1

    2 ft

    Westwood, Krul
    Enrique, Jones, BAE, Rangel, Wilko
    Silver, VDV, Ramsey, Drenthe, Eagles
    Bendy, RVP, Hernandez

After next game week I want to get Ben Arfa in. What should I do meantime?
I could bring Ben Arfa in for Eagles this week as I plan on benching Eagles against Spurs anyway

    Thoughts?

If it's a transfer you want to do long term anyway then i suppose you should, so as to not waste a transfer. I wouldn't do that move anyway though, i reckon a big haul is around the corner with Eagles. I'd be more keen to get rid of Ramsey first.

That ridiculous transfer cost me around 30 points in total with his two big scores and 8 points in hits... Seemed so logical at the time having watched him play so awfully vs QPR.

I've just had it with Rooney, and I cant stand to see him drop any further, Chico will score well regardless so seems a safer bet right now.

Sturridge seems a better bet than Bendy, but I'd probably do that transfer in your position.

I'd defo do the Rooney to Chico, Sturridge one is your call. Seems like him and Mata are the only Chelsea players doing anything atm, but the way theyve been playing not sure either is essential without a nice run of fixtures.

No, he runs on vinegar, bitter lemons, sour grapes and bile.

As for sendings off, thought Fabio deserved a second yellow for blatantly pulling back Ba in injury time. Swings, roundabouts and funny little horse things on springs.

    Vorm (Given)
    Enrique Baines Jones (Brown STaylor)

    Adebayor RVP Bendtner

    0.7 in the bank.

Oh what a bad scoring week lads... not very happy with this but it seems everyone has had the same disappointment. Shoulda captained Adebayor.... what a shame ha.

    Trying to think transfers now:

    Vorm(Ruddy)
    Richards Enrique Brown (Naylor Simpson)
    Nani Silva VDV Ramsey (Dyer)
    Adebayor RVP Agbonlahor

Was thinking Nani is literally doing noting for me atm, but he has some gd matches coming up. So not to sure but was thinking:
Downgrading Nani and upgrading Gabby, depending on how well he does tomorrow.
Or I might even do Ramsey -> Larsson.
    Any ideas?
