Euro 2016 is now just one day away after Portugal’s 7-0 win over Estonia brought an end to the recent batch of friendlies last night. In the first in a series of two members articles, we focus on some of the most pertinent statistics over each sides’ last four friendlies this calendar year. We begin with a look at the standout performers in defence and also assess a trio of midfielders, with a further three players in the centre of the park set to feature in tomorrow’s follow-up piece.

    I'm guessing this is template (haven't been here for a few days).

    Tempted by Payet, but it would mean finding £1mil from somewhere (probably midfield) to fund Matuidi > Payet.

      Also not 100% sold on Nolito, would maybe prefer another 8.5 there such as Morata/Kane, but not sure if it's worth downgrading elsewhere. Nolito is a good enabler I guess.

    Alternative would be morata/Gotze/schar instead of Lewa/Draxler/Rodriguez

    Thoughts appreciated.

    Also is it a risk having three attacking players from Poland and Germany given that it reduces a captain and that they play each other.

      If all 4 play on the last day then it's easy. All you have to do is change captain if needed.

      1. Schär has matched Lichtsteiner's attacking returns in 20 games compared to the latter's 80.

      2. Personal preference.

    ok, so the France situation is doing my head in....

    Im finding it hard to call, in a 433 with Payet, Pogba, Matuidi, Giroud, griezmann, kante, Martial, Diarra, who initially loses out?
    Can we presume either Kante or Diarra have to play otherwise its just too attacking. What do you think?
    I have seen Pogba playing Very slightly sitting back before, what do you all think? like i said my head is spinning!

        So effectively you could change your captain 5 times in a week ( per Matchday ) but it will be the last one you choose to get the double points

    Can someone outline the rules for subs and captains etc for the Mcdonalds Uefa game? is it like FPL where you pick one starting 11 and captain per match week and make subs for the next match week or can you change players during the match day itself?

    Grosicki seems fit and will probably train today. I'd say he's about 80% to start against Germany, maybe 85%
