Gameweek 17 delivers one last match for Fantasy managers as Everton entertain Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby of the season.

Adam Lallana arrives at Goodison as the most sought-after target in Fantasy Premier League last week – over 290,000 drafted him in on the back of a 19-point haul at Middlesbrough.

Divock Origi was the number one forward for transfers in ahead of Gameweek 17 – the Liverpool frontman has recovered from a knock and is looking to score for the fifth successive Gameweek.

In terms of FPL captains, Romelu Lukaku and Sadio Mane are the two most popular picks for tonight’s match.

The big Belgian has struggled for form, though, failing to earn points in five of his previous six league outings.

Although he’s flourished at Anfield, Mane has disappointed on the road, serving up six blanks in eight road trips.

Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino – the third most transferred out ahead of Gameweek 17 – will be looking to stop the fire sale and end a run of five straight blanks against a defence with just a single clean sheet in 12 attempts.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Definitely not. Sunderland have tightened up in the last few weeks.

Clean sheet, 1 conceded to Chelsea, 1 conceded to Leicester, 2 to Liverpool, clean sheet...

Based on that last 5 I wouldn't be going near the triple C chip

Everton have something like 2 wins in last 23 vs Liverpool. That's horrendous for a team who's supposed to be regular top 8.

    Also, that challenge by Barkley...

Everton were 11th twice in the past few years. Never really consider them a danger in any way.

The challenge was horrendous. Can't believe he escaped a red.

Choose for the next 2 gameweeks only:

    A) Azpi (BOU, STK) & Lallana (STK, MCI)
    (Have Alonso)

    B) Valencia (SUN, MID) & Walcott (WBA, CRY)

As a former Mustafi owner don't bother.
Too much money for a defence that always seems to find a way to throw away a clean sheet.
If you want Arsenal defence then assist/goal potential/bonus pts is with Kos or Bellerin. If it's about price then Monreal is probably better than Mustafi.

To Kun or not to Kun, that is the question

Is there any solid argument (based upon what we've seen of City thus far) to suggest KDB can keep pace with Kun once Kun is back ? For me it comes down to:

    Kun + Allen (good Jan fixtures) + 4.5 def 4 / 0.1 ITB)

KDB + Anichebe + Bellerin (all FT / 0.7 ITB)

Rest of midfield = Sanchez / Walcott / Lallana / Capoue

    Anyone the wiser??

I'd say KDB's points return would be a solid argument. We're way beyond Kun being essential by now. That said, I vastly prefer Kun and Allen to KDB and Anichebe.

        Agree with the last point.

Tossing Bellering into the mix though confuses me: he should be a great asset during their decent run, but they can't keep a cleanie to save their bloody lives at the mo, so it could be (yetr another) crap move

I don't think there's anything to suggest that KDB can. But I think there's plenty to suggest Ibra, Costa and Sanchez can. You're falling into the trap of thinking that you "have to" own someone from City. Treat attacking players as individuals, rather than representatives of their team.
