Gameweek 18 comes to its conclusion this Wednesday evening as Southampton welcome Tottenham Hotspur to St Mary’s.

Claude Puel’s men seek a fourth successive clean sheet in front of their own supporters, with ever-present Virgil van Dijk (13% ownership) the most popular Saints player by some distance in Fantasy Premier League.

After netting twice in the 3-1 win at Bournemouth, Jay Rodriguez retains his role up front and is afforded another chance to play his way into our plans ahead of some fine upcoming fixtures.

Back-to-back home blanks against Hull and Burnley persuaded many to part company with Harry Kane last time out – the Spurs frontman was second only to Diego Costa for transfers out in Gameweek 18. Nonetheless, a big performance could have a big effect in the FPL standings – Kane is the sixth most captained player for this round of fixtures.

His Tottenham team-mate Christian Eriksen also earned significant sales after failing to deliver points against the Clarets, yet both have the underlying numbers to punish those who chose to look elsewhere.

    I'm pretty peeved....Sanchez captain and Kane were my differentials vs. my mini league rival.

    Sanchez hit the post and got thwarted by Foster lots....and Kane skied a penna after slipping!

        Having a horrible season.
        Now Pickford and walker out for next game and possibly

          I assume like me you just like to enhance the footy. Take a few hits and learn to enjoy the fails as well as the good picks. It's only a game. WR has the best attitude towards this game....it just doesn't matter.

    Eriksen was fantastic today, unlucky not to score with the shot off the post. Seems to be getting into more attacking positions than Kane who just seems lost atm.

    Who's the player this season who has been the most stressful to own?

    For me, Walcott, hands down.

    Injury doubts, niggles, it's the not-knowing that kills you.

    Think I will transfer him out but those fixtures...

          Its a tough one, I keep thinking Aguero as he's the better player but the thing that puts me towards Costa is no europe and Chelsea will be only concentrating on the league. Ibra is pretty much nailed for me at the moment so its between the latter two.
