Dugout Discussion – Sunderland vs Manchester United

The first of two Sunday fixtures gets underway at 1.30pm this afternoon as Sunderland welcome Manchester United to the Stadium of Light.

The most popular captaincy choice for Gameweek 32, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been handed the armband by 15.7% of Fantasy Premier League managers ahead of a visit to the basement-dwellers.

    Thinking of wildcarding due to no shows / basically no shows from Walker, Valencia, Carroll, McAuley, Defoe etc. Is this team too light at the back? Have exact funds for this.

      Yeah I'd say it is. Plus you only have one defender who'll have a DGW37, why would you even consider getting Pieters on WC? Would rather double up on Saints and get Yoshida. 2DGWs.

        Alternative would be to do something like Kane out for Benteke until the doubles have passed and then upgrade a defender. Could do that with a couple of hits instead of WC

    I probably will be doing Eriksen + Vardy to Zaha + Kane with the 2FTs. Mainly because I don't fancy anyone else in my team as a captaincy option. Zaha will be playing a rotated Leicester and I'll be hoping Big Sam keeps Vardy out ...

        There must be more doubles though. For example, if there is no double in 38 as the fixtures stand on the ticker Arsenal will be 2 games short and most other teams will be one game short at least

      That's what I'm doing. Spurs have the best defence in the league, never considering selling Bavies (unless Rose makes a miraculous return).
