With Alvaro Morata and, in particular, Eden Hazard delivering in the early encounter, the focus now turns to six afternoon kick-offs and another set of prime Fantasy assets.
Harry Kane is the headline act. He is the most popular Fantasy Premier League (FPL) captain for just the third time this season. Over 857,000 (15.9%) trust the Spurs striker with the armband for his trip to Vicarage Road, the venue for a double-figure return last season. Kane has seven of his ten strikes on the road and, with Watford set to stretch the suffering Spurs defence, this could well be a game of goals.
Mohamed Salah is placed second for armband popularity. Faith in the Liverpool midfielder has gradually increased, particularly after his stunning 23-minute appearance in midweek which produced 13-points and his third double-figure return in four Gameweeks. The Egyptian lines up in another shuffled Liverpool line-up at Brighton, with Sadio Mane again left on the bench by Jurgen Klopp.
Elsewhere, Jamie Vardy – backed by 164,000 new owners – will take on the impressive Burnley defence at the King Power Stadium, a fixture that will doubtless split the Fantasy community.
Sam Allardyce makes his bow as Everton manager at home to Huddersfield Town, while Alan Pardew also takes charge of West Brom for the first time; they host Crystal Palace at The Hawthorns.
Finally, Stoke City face Swansea City at the bet365 Stadium with Tammy Abraham returning to the starting line-up for the visitors. The Chelsea loanee has suffered sales of late but still goes into today’s contest as part of 630,000 (11.7%) squads.
