Was looking at replacement for Elmo, Bramble looks the best option, it appears to me that Bardsley might lose his place to Ferdinand when Ferdinand is back having not played on GW's 4 and 5 (Ferdninand did play) and being replaced by Ferdinand in GW 12 also, just little indicators I suppose,but don't want to have to replace Bardsley.
2 freebies this week (with Boateng and Albrighton illness/injury I am happy to hold on to both), any suggestions?

Address Boateng and Elmo first if I was you, theri pitch time is uncertain to say the least.

I remember u were scouting for a new member of your attack, replacing Piquionne. Doubling on Bolton forwards seem like a not bad idea and if Mummy has to go, Konchesky is good option IMO. Plus Eve and Liv have ultimate H&A rotation.

Im thinking of rotating the same players (I have cole/elmo/salcido/konchesky/simpson - VDV/Ferguson/Fabregas/albrighton/Nani - Tevez/Drogba/Varney) - but thinking, Drogba -> Rooney, Varney->Elmander, or Salcido->Vidic, Drogba -> Elmander.. , or even salcido->Kolarov somewhere amidst a drogba/elmander swap.. It's pretty critical for me too cause I just went into the lead in my league 😮
I realise Chelsea haven't been playing well but Cole will still no doubt be the highest scoring defender.
Before you reomve a fit A.Cole I would look at Elmo, if he doesn't start tonight he needs to go first, Blackburn have a decent fixture run maybe Elmo to Samba/Jones?
Does anybody know anything about that 1 BP from Blackburn - Aston Villa game, given to Blackburn GK Brown, who wasn't even on the bench in that game?

Would you please stop buying Onuoha and Elmander. I am considering buying these players for this weekend but would like to wait until after the midweek games. While I can afford either even with a couple of price rises, I would rather have as much money as possible.

I have no clue so far. I am hoping that Drogba gets another rest though, Anelka seems to have been doing ok in the champions league so play him with malouda and kalou please.
Little manager in me says "Carlo, play the best team you got, break the deadlock, get a goalfest and everything starts to go ok in premier league also...".
But unfortunately there will be propably very few first team players involved. Anelka and Drog rested for sturrige and kakuta or whoever.

For this weekend you would think Elmander would be better for the fixtures but Carroll has already proved he can play and score against the big teams!
Well, I thought that. But really the only team I may have not seen him scoring against so far was Arsenal. Let's be honest, Arsenal aren't the best defensively.
He does look good though, I have Caroll and am considering changing him to Elmander because of fixtures. Boltons team as a whole is on good form and so is Elmander.
If I was getting either in as a choice now, I'd definitely go Elmander.

Toure is going for Kolorov, but I'm tempted to double up on City this week and then shift out Toure the week after.

None of them really have great fixtures. I'd probably go with Simpson or maybe Foley. Jara and West Brom are hitting a bad run of form at the moment, but the fixtures aren't all that bad. Might be worth taking a punt on one of the Blackpool defenders in that price bracket, but really I think Foley or Simpson.
Although Foley got taken off early in the last Wolves game. Not sure if it was tactical or injury.
Cheers man its been foley in my head for weeks then he played 28 mins at the weekend casting a doubt over him. Have you got any idea what happened there?

What do you guys think of my going Brunt > Lee? Didn't see MOTD so don't really know how he did against Newcastle.
I want to get some Bolton cover in, and whilst I hate the idea of going for the third best option, I don't want to sell any of my strikers (Tevez, Drog ,Carroll) for Elmander / Davies.
Lee generally seems to be involved if they get goals, and surely he'll get a big haul at some point?
Saw the Chelsea highlights, Drogba should/could have scored 3 or 4 if not for a stellar performance from Foster!

5.6 replacement for Elmo?
Already got Kolorov, Ivan, Konchesky, Jones...
Utd's Rafael is only 5.6.....
I like the Rafael option, the only problem is rotation. He looks like he's the number one choice now though so can see him getting plenty more game time and perhaps not being rested as much.
Otherwise you could just get another Sunderland defender as they are in good form (watch tonights game just incase), and have good fixtures.

I have to say that as a man utd fan who has had to put up with hearing chelsea fans go on and on about how bad of a state man utd are in due to the glazers that im rubbing my hands with glee that infact our 'owners' have always respected our manager, our history and have rightfully taken a backseat on team affairs unlike the dark overlord at stamford bridge who now seems determined to destroy his own club from within good days ahead for the 'real' best club in the premiership.
Well, they are certainly wary of Fergie - but I would avoid commenting too soon ...

I'm sick and tired of not taking hits and following my gut. has not paid off for me at all. Jarvis/kDavies/Lee comes to mind in the last 2 weeks.

Hits are good when they work out (but I guess that's obvious).
I took a 4 point hit for Zhirkov to Kolarov and Malouda to VDV which worked out for me. I was also considering Elmander in for Caroll which would have been 8 points but again would have worked out over all.
Sometimes you just get lucky 🙂

Id say lee bolton are on form and have ok fixtures. I view dempsey as someone who plays well when fulham are on form but disappears quite often when theyre not and they currently look rather shaky after yesterdays performance

Jesus christ your forward line really is a good advertisement for the cheap rotatable defenders approach! I havent got the bottle to do it personally always like a couple of steady eddie mainstays at the back e.g vidic

Carroll is a point scorign machine, but his fixtures are turning, Drogba has done sod all for weeks, has poor fixtures, but apparently was on fire against Brum. Tevez, erm, keep Tevez.
It seems like the perfect time to pile into Bolton forwards, but sometimes you have to let a bandwagon go. You can't have all the players all the time!

He could be out for months and Chelsea have been linked with lots of defenders for the January transfer window. But there's been no real news yet, as far as I know.
That's a pretty pricey defense, if you're going to get another Chelsea defender I'd get Ivanovic. If not maybe downgrade to a Sunderland defender like Onuoha or Brambles and use the money elsewhere?

I'm no guru, but I'm keeping Drogba because I think it's unlikely that Tevez will outscore him from now on. Do you really think Citeh will be freescoring as they were yesterday? Very difficult one though, I think you need Carroll because of his value.
Well if Gyan doesn't play, I think that Sunderland would be a bit toothless. Coleman might have a good chance for a cleanie then.
