It's not the first time players are rested and it's not the last time. If you've played this game for more than a season, which I believe the majority of you'll have, you knew the risks in loading up the the DGWers and you still chose to do it anyway. Playing 2 games in 3/4 days is tough for these players and they deserve a rest.
Instead of whining about the players that are not starting, start hoping that the players that are starting get you the points. After all it's just game. You can whine about the resting all you want, yet come the DGWs next year, we all are going to do the same thing again.
