Best Bournemouth players to sign on FPL in 2018/19 – The Complete Members’ Analysis

Josh King, Charlie Daniels, Junior Stanislas, Nathan Ake: Bournemouth players have mostly been good to Fantasy managers since the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2015, offering decent returns for minimal investment.

Last season’s offerings were something of a disappointment from a Fantasy perspective, however, with no Bournemouth player reaching double figures for goals, assists or clean sheets.

King scored half as many goals (eight) as he managed in 2016/17, while Jordan Ibe’s total of six assists was the best any Cherries player could muster.

The Bournemouth defence was particularly porous, meanwhile, keeping only six clean sheets (a league-low shared with relegated Stoke City) in their 38 league matches.

Part of Bournemouth’s appeal from a Fantasy standpoint is that by now we mostly know what to expect from the south coast side. Eddie Howe is the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, following Arsene Wenger’s departure from Arsenal, having been on the books at the Vitality Stadium for well over five years. Many of Bournemouth’s players have also been with the club for an extended period: King, Daniels, Stanislas, Ryan Fraser, Adam Smith, Simon Francis, Steve Cook and Callum Wilson, among others, have featured in all three seasons that the Cherries have spent in the top flight.

While Howe’s formation is far from settled, having flip-flopped between a conventional back four and a three-man defence last season, the Cherries’ mantra remains comfortingly consistent: attack and attack some more.

A for me, but who knows with J-Lingz. Could easily score. Close one, that, but Spain could properly do Russia. Iniesta was in my first draft for longer than Lingard, let's put it that way.

Sommer for me, then. Too tight a fixture to put all your eggs in one basket.

        Agreed. But 2 points -
        1. Swiss defence will be without leisteiner
        2. And Swiss have conceded every match.

Yep. But they came into the tournament with a superb defensive record and L'steiner is quality going forward but surely replaceable defensively? It's a close one, but we have no idea who gets through the round and if you're forced to take a hit because Sweden are out then that of course negates any returns made by whoever you choose.

What I've realised this world cup game all about luck. Just gonna roll the dice come what may with Jesus let's see. We all thought Neymar was the main man for Brazil but it's Coutinho for me. As long as you got him all well. Thank you Epic for the post.

I think they may result back to 1-0 wins and play four at the back. All a guessing game.
