Despite abounding rumours and last-minute panics, the Liverpool team news proved to be fairy routine for Gameweek 13.

Mohamed Salah (£13.0m), Sadio Mané (£9.9m) and Roberto Firmino (£9.2m) were all named on the team-sheet for the trip to Watford.

Andrew Robertson (£6.5m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.1m) and Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.0m) were considered selection doubts by some but they also start the fixture.

Joe Gomez (£5.1m) misses out with a minor ankle injury.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s hosts Watford benched Isaac Success (£4.6m) and Jose Holebas (£4.8m) was ruled out with a calf problem.

Manchester City’s line-up did not throw up too many surprises with Sergio Aguero (£11.5m), Raheem Sterling (£11.2m) and David Silva (£8.6m) retaining their places.

Fabian Delph (£5.3m) comes in for the injured Benjamin Mendy while John Stones (£5.3m) was benched for Nicolas Otamendi (£6.1m) at centre-back.

Pascal Groß (£6.7m) returned to the Brighton line-up with Anthony Knockaert (£5.5m) keeping his place in the side.

Leicester started James Maddison (£6.8m) while Jamie Vardy (£9.0m) was considered fit enough only for the bench.

Popular options in the transfer market this week in Richarlison (£7.0m) and Lucas Digne (£4.8m) were both on the team-sheet for Everton.

Claudio Ranieri made just one change in his first match in charge of Fulham with Jean Michael Seri (£5.3m) coming in for Andre Franck Zambo Anguissa (£4.4m), with Calum Chambers (£4.2m) still in midfield.

Anthony Martial (£7.6m) kept his place for Manchester United and he will have to face-up to Crystal Palace’s finest with Mamadou Sakho (£5.0m) and James Tomkins (£4.3m) coming through fitness tests to start.

    From GW 15 onwards, would you rather have Lacazette or Sterling? Yes I know they are different positions.

      Sterling
      But I think Laca ranks above most options

        Yeah those fixtures are very tempting. I already have Aguero. I suppose I could sell Aguero and have Lacazette, Sterling and Salah. Aguero will play every game though, even if only for 60-70 mins whereas Sterling won't

        Sterling (or any other MCI attacker)

          Already got Aguero so it would be Aguero, Lacazette and Salah for my premium 3 or Aguero, Sterling and Salah

          To have both I'd have to sell either Aguero or Salah. Currently got Aguero, Salah and Mane (brought Mane in for last GW which was a fail). I can afford any 3 of: Salah, Aguero, Sterling, Lacazette, Aubameyang

            I fail to see the downside to selling Aguero or Salah right now.

            And I own both of them and that’s exactly what I’m minded to do when I WC.

              I am WCing in GW15 too as it is when the fixtures turn for my current crop of players, when the fixture list becomes more congested and when fixtures turn for other players too.

              The problem with selling either is their ownership and their guaranteed starts. Sterling is not guaranteed to start. Out of the players mentioned, which 3 would you go for?

      Those Man Utd assets though. And with those fixtures. Who’s going triple attack?

      Lets forget about proven big hitting captaincy options for a minute (aka Messers Salah & Aguero)! Look who joined them in the top 4 in the poll this GW...Ladies & Gentlemen I introduce Mr. Martial & Mr. Richarlison!!

        I should have stuck with my instincts and picked Sterling (C) again instead of following the Richarlison herd. Still, 64 with Hazard, Alonso and Jiminez to play but it does hurt.

      Would you do this for next GW:

      Salah + Richa -> Haz + Sane (already have Sterling) for -4?

      A) Salah -> Sterling
      B) Brooks/aguero -> sterling/ jiminez
      C) hold aguero/Salah, ignore Sterling

      Not having Sterling is driving me nuts. Surely he's becoming more essential than hazard?
