→ The 2014/15 season was Sergio Aguero's best ever for Fantasy returns. Seven of his goals/assists and 36 of his FPL points came in two meetings with which club that year? Scout Betting

Last week we rolled the dice, and unfortunately the tilt of the table went against us. Although Luis Suarez earned well for Fantasy managers over the double Gameweek, Liverpool’s misfire at Sunderland cost us our £20. And, to rub salt in the wound, the ‘comparatively better value’ bet featuring Wayne Rooney at 15/8 came in. A swing and a miss for us, but I hope a few of you went against the grain and got paid.

With Ryo Miyaichi’s longer odds bet tempting more interest than the short priced big-guns last week, Paddy have laid on a couple of longer specials this time around. Still running with the exclusive goal, win and clean sheet treble, Scout Picks Clint Dempsey and Mario Balotelli feature in prices a little more risky, but with reward to match.

Dempsey’s home form may easily overshadow his fortunes on the road, but his Craven Cottage tallies have been so strong, he’s already close to beating his Fantasy point tally of last term with Gameweeks to spare. With Fulham’s form bolstered further by the clinical finishing of Russian talisman Pavel Pogrebnyak, the scene is set for a “humdinger” at the Cottage when Swansea pay visit. A Dempsey goal with a Fulham win and a clean-sheet at 11/2 is definitely worth a fiver of our money.

Our next bet shifts focus to City’s Mario Balotelli. Making a rare appearance in the Scout Picks this week, Balotelli blew the lid on his off-pitch antics in a Football Focus interview with Noel Gallagher last weekend. Was I the only one left bitterly disappointed by the “revelations” of their little chat? Often regarded as a lovable scamp, through the Mancunian’s revealing line of questioning, Balotelli instead came across merely as a petulant rebel. With the season now at the business end, it’s surely time for Balotelli to focus his efforts on the pitch. A pivotal home clash against Chelsea beckons in midweek and Paddy are offering a Balotelli goal with a City win and a clean-sheet at 6/1. Worth a go if, like us, you fancy Mario to come good as City exploit a weekend break to get their title tilt back on track.

Our third and final bet looks to last week’s big earner – Wayne Rooney. Paddy are offering 2/1 on an anytime Rooney goal with a United win and a cleanie against Wolves. Rooney’s form speaks for itself, and unfortunately for Wolves, so does theirs. Having missed out on the Rooney cash last week, we’ve learned our lesson and our remaining fiver flutters his way.

Money Back Specials

Paddy look to the weekend’s FA Cup matches for their refund specials. Starting with the Everton vs Sunderland clash at Goodison – if there is a penalty scored in this match Paddy Power will refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match.

There’s a similar deal available for Liverpool’s encounter with Stoke on Sunday. Again, if a spot-kick is scored, Paddy will pay back all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles on the match.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.
