Fantasy Allsvenskan: Gameweek 10

With midweek games done and dusted, we turn our attention towards an interesting GW10 where chip theory starts to come into the fore! If you haven’t already played your wildcard, now might be a good time to do so as GW12 will be the final chance to use the first WC. First, a short review of GW9.

Is Tankovic moving towards essential status?

Now, I don’t really like to use the “E-word” in fantasy terms, as it tends to get thrown around quite a lot… Muamer Tankovic (9.0m) isn’t essential to your squad, no one is. You can always make the points up somewhere else. What is growing increasingly apparent though, is the fact that it’s becoming very difficult to ignore his sublime form! Even with a set of trickier fixtures coming up, keeping (or getting in) Tankovic seems like a no-brainer. With 41,2% ownership, 70 points in 9 GWs (well clear of anyone else in the game), the creative hub of an attacking team and on penalties, you probably should try to have him at this point in time. A solid captaincy shout most weeks!

Falkenberg is really struggling at this level

With a large number of injuries not helping Falkenberg out, they are rooted to the bottom part of the table having only gathered five points from nine games. After the opening day win at home to Örebro, they’ve lost six games and drawn two. Against Djurgården they made some big defensive errors and individually as well as collectively, they need to get their stuff together if they don’t want to be the Huddersfield of Allsvenskan. They might get a bounce back after that horror-show but probably not away to AIK, their next fixture…

Gameweek 10 preview

Gameweek 10 is approaching fast and it could be the start of “chip season” as many managers might consider deploying “parkera bussen” with some favourable matchups for defenders to rake in double points! In GW11, Malmö and Sundsvall will have a double gameweek so be sure to get some sky-blue players in if you want a ticket to the DGW-lottery. After the break (post GW12) AIK and Norrköping will also have a double gameweek to consider.

Captaincy thoughts

Tarik Elyounoussi (9.0m) has Falkenberg at home and is in red hot form, scoring five goals in his last three games. There isn’t much more to say here, he’s most likely going to find his name on the scoresheet yet again. Daniel Sundgren (7.1m) is also showing impressive form and could be an interesting option to captain.

Muamer Tankovic is starting to become captainable most weeks, Göteborg has been very solid at home though so far (conceding only one goal in four games, that includes games against AIK and Malmö)… I wouldn’t think it’s impossible for him to get something out of this game but there is a small warning flag and depending on other players in your squad, he might not be the optimal route this time around.

In-form striker duo Paulinho (12.0m) and Alexander Jeremejeff (9.6m) travel to Sirius that isn’t in a very solid shape defensively at the moment, even though they managed to keep Sundsvall out in GW9. Sören Rieks (9.6m) faces off against Kalmar at home and he’s primed for attacking returns as well as bonus yet again.

Tricky fixtures of the week

Djurgården-Elfsborg really could go either way, I’d play any player I had in this game but clean sheet potential on both sides looks limited. Same goes for Göteborg-Hammarby, where both teams should be able to find the net given recent form. Captains from either game could be good but they are quite hard to call at this point in time.

What are your plans for GW10?

Are you looking to use some chips in the next couple of weeks, and how are you planning for DGW11 and DGW13, with the summer break squeezed in between?

Have only just realised GW13 comes after the summer break. Could be a problem with player transfers and chip plans. Whoops
Otherwise Sundgren captain this gw, or Tarik if I get him in.

Positive news for Bengtsson owners. According to Uwe Rösler, Bengtsson finished the whole training session, and Bengtsson himself hopes he'll be selected for the game tomorrow!

I'm sticking to my plan and playing my PTB-chip this week, with the following defence:
      Sundgren - Mets - Witry - Bengtsson - Andersson.

Had two transfers but only made the luxury switch of Karlsson to Sundgren as a one week punt for my PTB-team. If nothing els comes up, I'll use my two transfers next week to bring in Sören Rieks for the DGW, playing my "Två kaptener" with Rieks and Bengtsson.

Ironicly, the guy I'm chasing (don't know him) in one league is also plying his PTB-chip this week, with the exact same defence, so it will be hard to catch up with him. Hopefully I can see some green arrows again anyway.

      Good luck everyone!

I ended up going with the same back 5, except Safari instead of Andersson as I couldn't quite stretch all the way to the Hacken defender. Abrahamsson in goal will cover their potential clean sheet though.

Eskilstuna drew with Helsingborgs today and a goal for Jarl! 😀

Thanks Bob, I took the gamble and kept Bengtsson so have him along with Larsson, Karlsson, Sundgren and Witry for PTB.

That Jarl is creating lots of bench points for me, I really must play him one of these gameweeks!

Had to decide if I wanted to bring in Rieks or Christiansen. Went with the former.

      Christiansen scores.

Also, I was doing other things while having the match on, so he might've been more involved than I think he was!

He plays left-wingback, tends to get forward quite a bit. He wasn't super-involved in the game yesterday though!
Traustasson and Rosenberg ran the show for the most part, especially in the first half. Rieks is a tough proposition (I currently have him), it doesn't feel great to dish out that kind of money for a midfielder playing wingback. If other options emerges in that pricerange or slightly below I might ditch after the summer break.

Monitor injury news though, Bengtsson limped off and is a minor doubt. Otherwise I like the combination, I'm on Bengtsson, Traustason and Rieks at the moment.
Also Rosenberg has played an awful lot of minutes and he's a bit old (turns 37) so they might rest him for one of the games but if I was on WC I'd take the gamble still!

            That's fantastic!

And with the wildcard left, that's really a great achievment. It will give you lots of opportunities going forward, even though it means you can't play any chip in DGW11.

I was all set on playing my "Två kaptener" with Rieks and Bengtsson in DGW11 but don't know what to do now? Bengtsson is a doubt again and it's unlikely he'll be able to play 2 games in 4 days just a week from now. Rieks I don't even own yet, and are now concidering AC again since they are almost the same price now. I could do Bengtsson to Larsson, but would then have to make a third substitution and take a -4 hit to be able to afford it.

Thanks, your OR is super impressive too! It was a shame regarding Witry, could have been a bogus score. But I'm still happy to use my PTB in a SGW - I averaged 5.4 points per player, with Witry it would have been 6.4 which equates to a CS per player (can't get much better than that even in a DGW) - and it also enables the use of more attacking chips during the DGW's where there is less certainty regarding defensive returns.

I'm not too disappointed with no chip in GW11 now as Malmo looks a very hard team to predict. Rosenborg suspended so striker slot doesn't appeal to me. Rieks is OOP at left back, AC & Traustason will probably be my picks and the defence is tough to call. Might even go with Hallenius as a DGW differential. He also has AFC (h) in a few weeks.

WC also tough as there is a big break. Will probably start with Sundgren and then downgrade if he gets transferred.. but it does give me the chance to build for GW13 and beyond.

Nice! I thought I was doing well rising from 13,620 to 2,996 in three weeks (helped massively by a pretty successful 81 point wildcard this week, of course), but your progress is something else. Your last two gameweek ranks have been excellent. I've no doubt that you'll nail your WC and climb even higher next week.

Both of you (you and Bob Sacamano) really nailed your use of the PTB chip this week. Congratulations! (A pity about Witry, though - it could have been even better for both of you).

Cheers, yeah it's been a huge rise from the early GW's. Looks like you've done well also!

I'm glad I've still got my WC though as I see a few changes coming for the next few weeks. Hacken dont seem to have the best fixtures and Malmo, AIK, Sundsvall & Norrkopping have doubles coming up. Also talk of Sundgren leaving so might restructure my team to be ready for that possibility.

PTB worked out really well! It would have been nice to have the Sundgren attacking return that's been true the last few weeks, but can't complain at all!

This game can really be emotionally exhausting! Another rollercoaster gameweek for my team, using the PTB-chip, which ended up okay after all.

Was hoping for about 60p from my PTB-defence (5 x clean sheets), ended up with 54 which is still okay I guess. Given that Bengtsson was a doubt, I'm happy to get 12p from him, especially since he shoud probably have been sent off from what I understand. Also have to be happy with 10p from Andersson given that they conceded 3 goals. Witrys injury was the only major blow I guess, since I probably would have gotten another 10p if he hadn't been injuried. Quiet evening from Sundgren, and Falkenberg did create a few big chances tonight, so to get 30p from Sundgren and Mets is more than okay.

Overall 54p from defence, 80+ in total and a big jump into the top 40. I guess from now on I can only expect red arrows, having used my most powerful chip unlike many others in the top of the table. Still hoping that I can carry this on until the summer break.

As for the PTB-chip, I gotta give it to Johannes that he's probably right that it's much wiser to use it in a DGW. However, I wouldn't wanna change that now given what a minefield the Malmö defence has become. Bengtsson a doubt again, Safari sick, Larsson on 2 YC, Brorsson just back from injury and Vindheim possibly sold. Anyone who can manage to find 3 defenders playing both games in DGW11 is up for a major climb up the ranks. I will struggle to find even one, if Bengtsson is out.

I wound up keeping the PTB-chip with doubts over Bengtsson starting and unsure of the CS prospects of the rest of my players bar AIK. Reasonably happy with that as it also meant I captained Elyounoussi. Will look to either play it in DGW13 with double AIK and one or two from Norrköping, or save it until later in the season where GW20 as someone pointed out looks a very interesting time to use it (AIK-Kalmar, Hammarby-Sundsvall, Malmö-Falkenberg, Djurgården-AFC Eskilstuna).

Probably going two captain chip next GW with two Malmö players. Very nice rank by the way! 🙂

I see from your history that you had a pretty good overall ranking last season. That, along with your performance this season, indicates to me that you know what you're doing. I'm sure you can keep it up until the summer break, and will be able to push on from there.

I'd actually rather be in your position of having used the PTB chip and gotten a good result out of it, rather than trying to deploy it in one of the upcoming DGWs. I fear I may be in for some Shane Duffy levels of disappointment!

            Thanks!

Still havn't quite learned the game yet, since it's a little bit different from FPL due to the bonus system. Money seems to invested best in midfield and defence, yet my mind tells me that heavy hitters up front is always the way to go.

I realize I should be happy with the outcome of my PTB-chip, in hindsight, I couldn't have done more. I wildcarded in GW7 preparing for GW10, I got 3 clean sheets that would have been 4 if Witry hadn't been injuried, and an assist from Andersson. Still torn on how to do this week. Was all set to play "Två kaptener" but injuries might stop me from doing that. The other option would be to play it in DGW13, where I'll likely have Pettersson, Thorarinson and Larsson from Norrköping.

Then yes I'd take one hit as the ceiling is that much bigger.

I took a hit for PTB last week and the benefit more than makes up for the hit.

I don't think Dahlin out for Linner for another -4 is worth it since Linner will also have a DGW soon (GW13). I would concider taking a -4 to get 3 x Malmö, especially if you're concidering playing any of your chips. In your situation I would try and get Christiansen in and play "Två kaptener" with Rieks and Christiansen.

"Två kaptener" on Rieks and Christiansen is my thinking too. I'm thinking about playing PTB in dgw 13 so Linnér out for would give me a second AIK spot in the defence. But i agree that it's not optimal at all, probably won't do it

Ah, I get it. But would you concider keeping Linner for another week? Then you could do Linner to Pettersson for free next week. On paper, Norrköping have AFC in GW12 and a much better DGW13. Can't see AIK keeping any clean sheets in DGW13, however theire defence is very settled and all defenders should be able to play both games, which would mean at least 4-6p from two games. The only risk is if anything happens during the break in terms of players being injuried, sold etc.

How does this WC draft look guys :

          Abrahamsson - Joelsson
          Kossounou - Sundgren - Larsson - Danielsson - Berg
          Tankovic - Jarl - Traustason - Ohlsson - AC
          Nygren - Larsson - Elyounoussi

Djugardens & Goteborg have great fixtures over next 4/5 - Goteborg only have two bad fixtures in the next 10
          Sundgren/Elyounoussi/Larsson have a DGW13 , Malmo x 3 have a DGW11

My only worry is no Hallenius for DGW11 - but Sundsvall don't look great at all right now.

After DGW13 I'll probably transfer AC & Larsson for Jeremejeff and another mid.

Well, I don't quite fancy it to be honest.

Kossounou must go since he's already been sold to Belgium and will only be available for two more games. I'm not convinced on a Djurgården doubble-up in defence, and if so Witry should defenitly be one of them.

Ohlsson at 6.9 is quite a lot for a midfielder playing as a defender and theire short term schedule isn't great. Also no fan of Traustasson. I still own him but will ship for Thorarinsson as soon as this DGW is over.

Nygren is already surrounded by transfer rumours and might leave soon, so if you could stretch to PKL I'd do that. Elyounoussis form can't be argued, neighter the fact that he's a quality player. But AIK looked absolute rubbish last night, and havn't been playing good all season. I'd probably try to fit in an attacking Häcken player instead, as they are usually a very attacking minded team.

I don't think you need to worry about Hallenius though. Given how Sundsvall perform at the moment, I find it hard to see that they would get anything out of games against AIK and Malmö.

Plenty of food for thought, thanks for your input!

Going to change Kossounou to another Hammarby defender, possibly Solheim. Djugardens have a very good defensive record and have Ostersunds, Sirius, Kalmar and AFC in their next four. But granted, changing to Witry looks a better bet.

I was surprised to see Ohlsson playing in defence considering he has such a high points total! Is there a reason you don't like Traustason - I heard him and AC ran the show in their last match and Traustason is in the sofascore team of the week? It's strange to see Rieks doing better lately - do Malmo focus a lot of their attacks down the left and is he that far forward that he's playing as an inside forward?

Goteborg have such a good run, I'll need to change attacker in that case.

Any specific reason you fancy a Hammerby defender? They havn't looked very solid so far, and they have a few tricky games coming up. I agree that Djurgården looks more solid, so perhaps Danielsson and Witry? Watched an interview with Wirty last night where he sounded optimistic about the injury. Perhaps not likely to play this GW, but could be back for Sirius away. If not, he's got another 4 weeks to recover for the next game.

Didn't watch Malmö last GW but I also heard that Traustason played well. Don't know why I don't really trust him, I just don't feel he's contributing with enough attacking returns or bonuspoints compared to Rieks and AC. Also I think Thorarinson is an excellent Fantasy-player, and I really want him for the DGW13.

Just look out for players who are at risk of leaving in the summer, such as Odilon, Nygren and Sundgren.

I've gone off Hammarby defence now. Ended up with a defence of Dahlin in goal and Dimitriadis, Danielsson, Andersson, Wernersson and Bjorkman as sub. Danielsson always gets good bonus, so might keep him as a solid pick over the explosive but injury prone Witry.

Managed to fit in Rieks & AC for Malmo in midfield along with Tankovic & Ring (Djugardens next four look good)

                  Up front - Elyounoussi, Karlsson-Lagemyr & Larsson.

Then around GW15 I'll probably transfer Rieks & Larsson out for Jeremejeff and might take a punt on Rogic from Orebro to coincide with Hacken's nice fixture change.

                    Sounds good!

Perhaps keep an eye on Witry after all, as I wouldn't say he's injury prone. I recall him saying that his previous injury was the first one in his career of that kind, and now it's just a sprained ankle which hopefully wont keep him out for long.

Ring is a personal favourite in Allsvenskan fantasy as he's usually very good for both attacking and defensive bonus points. Fixtures looks great, so a midfield of Ring, AC, Rieks and Tankovic looks superb! Attack also looks very good, well done!

Just realized I could get Brorsson and AC in for free with exact funds. Would probably have to do the move quickly though, as I expect price changes on AC or Bengtsson later this week. Which option would you pick?

          A) Get Brorsson & AC for free

Would allow me to keep Sundgren, but Brorsson is just back from injury and is not a certain starter, especially if Bengtsson recovers for new GW. Probably wouldn't play my "Två kaptener" since I don't trust Brorssons gametime enough.

          B) Get Larsson, AC for a -4 funded by Sundgren - Panos

Would force me to drop Sundgren (who's likely to be sold anyway though). Would allow me to play "Två kaptener" with Larsson and AC, although Larsson is on 2 YC and could risk missing the second game if he picks up a yellow card against AFC.

          Thoughts?

I would go for option B but I don't really fancy Malmo defenders right now. I'm thinking of going with their keeper on WC to get safety of starts!

Do you have a way of doubling Malmo attack for the two captains?

My plan is to have one Malmö defender and two midfielders. Currently have Bengtsson but if he's out I'll get Safari, Larsson or Brorsson. Already got Traustason and was planning on getting Rieks, but since he and AC are basicly the same price now I'll probably go with AC instead. I don't fancy Traustason as one o the captains though, would rather go for a defender but it's not easy to find one likely to play both games.

This is probably me being really stupid, but the team in 5th place overall seems to have used two wildcards already:

          https://fantasy.allsvenskan.se/a/entry/18028/history

Isn't the second one only meant to be available from GW13?

They aren't WC's - they're two chips that have been played.

Actually if you look at the specified weeks in GW2 he played "Two Captains" and in GW10 he played "Park the bus", it looks like he hasn't even played the wildcard at all! Must be a mistake on the website, should say "Chips" not "Frikort"(Wildcard).

Looked at my own history with wildcard in GW4 and two captains active now for GW11 - both show up.

Interesting, thanks both of you. They're definitely showing as wildcards "Frikort" on my system but it must be a website glitch. I just got worried that I might have missed the opportunity to use a wildcard. Having missed GW1 due to a time zone error ( 🙁 ) I didn't want to drop any more points!

          Hi folks,

Any thoughts on this WC team? I Don’t know the Allsvenskan well at all so could do with some wisdom from the crowd!

          Linner (Amos)
Sundgren - Karlsson - Bengtsson (Witry - Bjorkmann)
          AC (c) - Traustason (vc) - Yasin - Jarl - Tankovic
          Jeremejeff - Nygren (Sylisufaj)

Realise Witry and Bengtsson are flagged. Bjorkmann and Sylisufaj are basically fodder.

          Cheers!

            Looks good!

Just watch out for players like Sundgren and Nygren who are strongly rumoured to leave in the summer.

Defence looks solid and midfield is very strong! Attack perhaps a little weak, but on the other hand most of the points in Allsvenskan fantasy seems to come from defence and midfield. I noticed you have no Norrköping players and they do have a good DGW coming up, and AFC ahead of that. Perhaps Thorarinson instead of Yasin if he's fit for next GW? Also monitor the injury situation for Bengtsson, it he's injuried you might as well go for another Malmö defender

            Cheers!

I usually look at fotbollskanalen.se for news and rumours from Allsvenskan, not sure it's the best though. Otherwise I guess Sportbladet and Expressen are the main sources who covers Allsvenskan, theire credability isn't always the highest though.

Just a few updates and my own thoughts on the Malmö defence situation:

Rasmus Bengtsson - Still not back in training, ruled out for the AFC game on saturday. Since the Sundsvall game is just 3 days later, I asume he'll be doubtful for that one as well.

Behrang Safari - Missed the last game due to a fever, my prediction is that he'll be ready for the next game.

Franz Brosson - Played 75 minutes (which was decided before the game) for the reserves on monday. Felt good, says he's ready for 90 minutes and hope's he'll be selected against AFC.

Eric Larsson - No problems, feels like a 100% starter against AFC but is on 2 YC and a slight suspension risk.

Andreas Vindheim - Sold to Prague but will remain with Malmö for the last three games due to the injury situation. Doubtful if he'll get any more games.

Jo Inge Berget - Stepped of the training after an hour, but no issue. They fully expect him to be in the squad against AFC.

This was enough for me to pull the trigger on AC and Brorsson. I know Brorsson is just returning from injury, but any other Malmö defender will ost me -4p and force me to drop Sundgren, so I'm ready to take a chance this time. Might not play "Två kaptener" with Brorsson and AC though, will decide on that later. If I would predict the Malmö "back 5" for the next game it would be:

          Berget - Larsson - Brorsson - Safari - Rieks

Perhaps a bit biased as I'm about to bring Brorsson in, they could decide to play Lewicki in defence. Again, it's just speculation from my side.

Can also add that Witry sprained his ankle against Elfsborg but is not yet ruled out from the next game. They will take it day by day and make a decision later this week, closer to the game. As an owner I would advice against selling Witry since it sounds like he'll be back soon enough, and that Djurgården have great fixtures coming up.

          Cheers all!

With Bengtsson out there's a lack of physical presence, aren't there? Safari and Lewicki are both small, and Larsson not exactly big either. I assume Brorsson is fairly nailed as long as Bengtsson is out?

Also, we do you think Lewicki won't play in defence? Hasn't he played pretty much every game there, bar one or two? With Bonke Innocent showing form they don't need another DM either.

I'm probably transferring out Bengtsson for Brorsson, and going park the bus with Brorsson, Safari and Larsson. I would be really happy if I can get 5 starts out of them, but 4 feels like the most likely scenario. 6 would be a dream, but I doubt it will happen.

Thats a very good point! Brorsson is the only natural CB in the team, so I think it would be strange not to play him now that he's fit. He was onvolved in 23 games last season, so he's been playing a lot under Rösler. He might not play after the break if Bengtsson and Nielsen are back, but to me he's a short term solution mainly for this DGW.

Malmö have had defensive problems all season, with Safari, Brorsson and Nielsen out, so I figured that's why Lewicki has been playing CB in many games. Havn't watched all the games but if he's done a good job he might keep his spot. Still I think it's reasonable to belive Brorsson will get some game time now.

I think Brorsson, Safari and Larsson are all good choices for this gameweek. Unless Larsson picks up another YC I think he'll play both games, and the same goes for Safari. Unless Bengtsson makes a quick recovery I think you could get another two games from Brorsson, so 6 games isn't unrealistic at all. That's likely to give you a good score this week. Who's your other two defenders?

              Best of luck to you!

Hope so! Sundgren and Danielsson are my other two. Can't really go PTB without Sundgren, and Danielsson has a good fixture and is a bonus magnet. A bit disappointed that he didn't take the penalty this GW (and not even Turay..).

I'm a Norwegian and don't watch much Allsvenskan, so most of my "knowledge" is based on what I can find on the internet. On svenskafans they are very happy with Lewicki as a CB, and they seem very confident that he's nailed on in that position. It's under that assumption I struggle to see 6 starts, but Rösler might not have the same ideas as the fans I guess..

Wow, that makes your OR even more impressing!

Danielsson should be able to get you another 3-4p (x2) even without a clean sheet, and Sundgren is always a threat. I brought him in last week for my PTB-team, unfortunatly AIK were awful and Sundgren had a very quiet evening, hardly following up in a single attack.

How many points do you expect from your defence, and what do you concider to be a decent score? I was hoping for around 60p ( 5 x clean sheets) but ended up with 54 after that unfortunate injury to Witry. Still pretty pleased, I've seen both better and worse.

I heard so. At least you got a CS from Sundgren 🙂

I'll be happy enough with 50, and very happy with 60+. Hoping for the perfect storm like Eliteserien last season, where a lot of people got up to 150 points just from their back 5. Best one I could find with a quick search was this one with 144 points, including one player who got 2 points..

Wow, that was riddiculace! So far this season I havn't seen any PTB-score above 90p, which is still incredible. Those who got the best scores had Andersson or Witry scoring a brace, getting 38p from them, which is pretty lucky since you can't really predict things like that.

If you get two clean sheets from your Malmö defenders, that's about 100p alone which is incredible. I fear that this GW, fortunatly after scrolling through some of the top teams not many seem to plan for a PTB with 3 x Malmö.

Yeah, we had one penalty taking CB (+ bonus magnet) as well as an OOP defender both scoring and keeping 2x CS each. One of them also assisted, as well as a few other popular picks doing well.

Hoping for the best with the Malmö bus. Most seem to go with alternative strategies

Thanks Bob, very nice summary! Their defence is a tough prospect right now, but if you can see past the 2YC thing I kind of like Larsson. A real shame that Bengtsson looks likely to miss at least one, if not both of the games. I have him and not quite sure what to do, given I like him as a long term prospect.

Brorsson is also an option but the question is who misses out from Larsson, Lewicki, Brosson and Safari. Jo Inge Berget and Vindheim complicate the matter further, as it would be great to have Larsson at right wingback instead of at the centre of defence.

              Thanks!

If I could pick any Malmö defender I would go 1) Larsson, 2) Safari, 3) Brorsson. Now Brorsson was the only one I could get without a hit and without losing Sundgren, so I had to settle for that and hoping for the best now.

I don't think much can be said about the Malmö defence this season since it's been suffering from so many injuries. I doubt that Rösler would play Lewicki and Larsson at CB and Berget at RWB if it wasn't for all the injuries. With Brorsson back, I hope that Rösler will play him since he's the only natural CB they have fit. I also think that Johannes made an excellent point about the physical presens. If he decides to leave Brosson out and go for Larsson - Lewicki - Safari his central defence will have a height of 1.75 - 1.73 - 1.81. That should also speak in favour of Brorsson, but perhaps I'm just being biased 🙂

I think Brorsson plays one, if not both games really (depending on fitness) so he should be a good pick!

Everything has a knock on effect in Malmö right now, with Vindheim leaving that means it’s Berget vs Larsson for right wing back (I imagine they might rotate if Rösler doesn’t decide to buy a new fullback) which would in turn free up a CB spot.

I had the money so decided to go Bengtsson to Larsson this week and hope he both manages to not get a YC in the first game and hopefully even starts one of them at wing back! Depends a bit on how keen Rösler is to play Vindheim om his way out. Should be Berget and Antonsson up top for the game that Rosenberg is suspended right? I suppose he could squeeze Molins in instead and play Berget as wingback again.

I still concider playing "Två kaptener" with AC and Brorsson although it's a gamble. With Bengtsson out against AFC, that should be the best chance to play for Brorsson, and that's the game I really want him for.

Larsson is a much better choice, and I don't think his 2 YC is something to worry about. His complete lack of bonus appeal as a CB is more of a concern to me, but if he can get a game as RWB that would be a huge boost.

Fans reporting from yesterdays training seems to have no doubts that Molins starts up front with Antonsson against AFC. I think this GW could be massive for Antonsson, and that he's really being overlooked. Could be his time to punish his sellers.

Yeah the hope with Larsson really is that he somehow wrestles back the right wing back spot on a semi-permanent basis, that would be gold! Brorsson is a great choice though I think, especially given the price.

I'm currently writing a preview for the next GW (hope to have it done soon) and in there I actually mention Antonsson as a rouge captaincy shout, particularly if you play two captains this week!

Good luck Bob, hope you have a brilliant gameweek and keep contributing like you are doing, it's great input to the discussion on the site! 🙂

You've both got me thinking about Antonsson now.

I'm thinking of a one week punt to opt for Max Svensson (FFF home) and Antonsson in place of Larsson & Rieks.

Happy with 77 points last week from my WC. Up to 342 OR and gambling on "park the bus" with 3x Malmö defenders.

Jeremejeff keep costing me. Stupidly sold him for -4 for Hallenius (I know..) ahead of GW8, and then had him back in my WC team last week.. Before I literally in the last few seconds decided I wanted to punt on Turay with 3 home games in the next 4. Silly decision I think.

          Good luck all.

That's a great score! Almost as good as mine and I used my PTB chip! With that OR I'm afraid you might leapfrog pass me this week. I expect red arrows now after using my chip last week, although I've noticed that several others in the top have used one chip or more.

Buya is not a bad shout, especially with the fixtures coming up for Djurgården. I had him earlier this season but got fed up with his 6p roof and complete lack of bonus potential.

Yeah, I compared his and Jeremejeffs stats last few. They were fairly similar. Neither of them seem to haul though, and neither seems good for bonus. Jeremejeff has 3 attacking bonus, Turay has 2. Those out and out strikers aren't good for bonus at all, so they really need to score at least two goals to haul. Same with Kjartansson.

Got 73 (-4) with my PTB chip.

It's interesting that people still fear Hallenius every week while Sundsvall are playing poorly at the moment. I know he can score a hattrick out of nowhere, or even four as we have seen last year, but he doesn't represent good value at all.

I owned Turay at the start, but ditched him on my wildcard despite returning 6-7 points weekly. Just feels wrong to have so much money tied up in a player and 'only' getting 6 points back, you know what I mean? You expect double figures for that kind of outlay.

Part of me wants to bring him back in, but I'm also strongly considering to remain relatively cheap up top and stick even more funds in defence/midfield. Bonus is so important in this game and I like the look of Andersson & Thorarinsson.

I bought Hallenius before GW8, but I also wildcarded him out again last week for the reasons you mentioned.

I agree with you for the double digits, but who can you get for that price that will give you regular double digits? This week was the first week Jeremejeff got double digits. Tarik obviously has three in a row now. I think he's the only forward with more than two double digit hauls, and there's not a lot with two either (Nygren, Cibicki, Kharaishvili, Hallenius)

Got rid of Andersson on my WC, but got in Thorarinsson.

Doubtful I think, not sure if that could change if the teams involved in Europe progress further and ask for re-scheduling of some fixtures. Very rare with postponements due to weather etc.

I'll probably play the two captain chip in GW13 then, and then look for a good week to include three high scoring strikers for the forward chip.

Any words on Thorarinsson? Why did he miss out last week? Can't seem to find anything.

Havn't seen anythng yet, but will keep an eye on it as I was planning on getting him for GW12. He limped off against Örebro holding his thigh, and there was speculation that it was just cramp, but apparently it was something worse.
