Why are Liverpool yet to keep a clean sheet in 2019/20?

Owners of Liverpool defenders are becoming increasingly concerned with their defensive potential this season.

After keeping 21 clean sheets last season, Jurgen Klopp’s men are yet to record one in 2019/20.

Liverpool have already conceded to Norwich at Anfield as well as against Southampton in Gameweek 2.

With many Fantasy managers still doubled-up at the back for the Reds, we have taken another look at the data to see what we can learn.

The aim is to discover whether or not Liverpool have been unfortunate not to keep a clean sheet yet or if there are serious issues at the back for them.

As this article uses data from the Fantasy Football Scout Members Area, only those who have signed up for the 2019/20 season can access it in full.

        Think going to get Martial for Perez so no hit this week ( got Pukki for Wilson already, gamble on Moura getting enough game time for couple of goals and switch to KDB next week by downgrading in defence - if Digne out a while then to 4.5 or Liverpool defender to max 5.3 m

      Son over Mane would save another 2m to go into defence (I've been looking at Firmino as my only Liverpool forward because of this, although it does seem rrrather risky indeedio)

        Yeah I was flirting with more in defence but you do get a lot of value in these 4.5s. Idk, at some point I'm sure I'll want Liverpool or city defender I'm sure.
        I wouldn't do 4.5 striker because there are none who play are there? I've already got Wickham stinking up the bench. I would far prefer someone who plays atm.

        Don't trust Kun/Pep/Jesus situation this season, even when starts he'll be subbed around 70'. Think you focus on Sterling first and foremost for City then look at KDB.

        I appreciate the response. I own, and will captain, Sterling for the next two gameweeks. So whoever I get him would be a short term thing I guess, before a likely gw 5 wildcard. Aguero has started both so far, and started all of last season.
