Back after a Gameweek’s absence, weโ€™re still licking our wounds having been edged out of some winnings. Robin Van Persie let us down against Man City, so while Papiss Cisse and Wayne Rooney both held up their end of the goalscorer treble, Paddy Power got to keep our money. Not to worry, as the excitement of the Grand National builds, we dust ourselves off and jump back in the ring for another go at Paddy in this weekโ€™s Fantasy Flutter.

Wigan put together a resolute performance against league leaders United in the week, but with a trip to the Emirates immediately following, Roberto Martinez must be worried that his side have enough left in the tank. Theo Walcott has been on incisive form of late and will likely be a key figure in Wigan’s downfall. Paddy have Walcott to net and Arsenal to keep a clean sheet at 100/30, which we’ll happily open our wallets for โ€“ our first ยฃ3 is spent.

Swansea have lost four in row leading up to this weekendโ€™s home fixture with Blackburn. They’ve slipped down the table, and only netted once whilst conceding ten. Not fantastic reading for fans and Fantasy managers alike, as faith in Gylfi Sigurdsson begins to waver. We feel that Swansea could make a Rovers recovery, though, and with the Icelandic attacking midfielder netting five times in March and April, he could be the one to bring Swansea out of their slumber. Paddy are offering 9/1 for a Sigurdsson goal and a Swansea cleansheet โ€“ that might seem a little skinny considering the abysmal Swans form, but it is definitely worth a quid of our cash.

Stephane Sessegnon is a frustrating chap. He seems to perform wonders in clusters of two or three matches, then has an off couple of weeks where heโ€™s satisfied to collect his two Fantasy points and go home to bed. After a goalless draw and a four-nil drubbing against Everton, โ€œSessโ€ will surely be looking to hit another spurt of form with three favourable fixtures on their way. The first of these is against current whipping boys Wolves, and with Paddy offering 9/2 on a Sessegnon goal and Sunderland cleansheet, our final ยฃ6 is well spent.

That’s your lot for another Flutter – good luck with your punts this weekend, particularly if you’re backing a horse in the National. Don’t forget, if you’ve yet to pick your runner, make sure you go and see our friends at Paddy Power first.

Money Back Specials

Paddy’s Money Back Special can be found at Sunday’s Emirates clash and it’s a good one. If a Robin van Persie scores the last goal in this game, Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on the match up to a value of ยฃ100 per customer.

There’s also an FA Cup special going on: if a red card is shown in either of the FA Cup gams this weekend, Paddy will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score and Scorecast singles on that match up to a value of ยฃ100 per customer.

Register and Bet ยฃ10 And Get ยฃ20 Free

If youโ€™re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free ยฃ20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Powerโ€™s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Currently 10 players this week, all at home bizarrely.

    Mign
    Caulker, Jevans, Ridgewell
    Siggy, McLean, Tony V, Walcott
    Rooney, RVP

Not playing: Enrique, BAE, Dempsey, Cisse.

Is it worth using free transfer to bring in Sess for Dempsey? I like Sunderlands next three games and am not convinced that Dempsey will deliver in DGW. Bought Dempsey at £8.4m though so would lose a bit if transferred back in.

    Decisions, decisions.

Same here, keeping Dempsey to the end, he will score more goals before the final GW and will probably get the arm band a few times from me.

Anyone thinking of captaining Walcott over RVP? Debating whether to do it as a differential?

If your chasing someone who you think will captain RVP and have a substantial gap to close then Walcott is a good shout.

However there is a risk of him starting on the bench and making a cameo apperance.

Well, my team is set and i'm pretty happy with it.
My main rival has made three transfers meaning he will only have 8 GW34 players max, i have 10.
All my players are at home and ive captained RVP.

What could possibly go wrong?!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

    Good luck everyone.

There is some awful advice kicking about on here this morning.

Use the tools on the website and make the best decision you can at this moment with the information afforded to you, you will be much better off than listening to a lot of the 'advice' posted on here.

On several occasions I have chosen to 'not' listen to some of things mentioned on here and been much worse off. It's a case of picking out the good information and using your judgement. I haven't come across anyone putting out bad information for the sake of it yet, I'm sure there are people there. I often go with gut instinct though, when I've used my head I've usually been worse of ha.!

Yeah I usually look for a few opinions on here but in the end its your own choice! Sometimes its easy enough to miss out on something fairly obvious and you just need pointing in the right direction!

You'll catch up during DGW ๐Ÿ™‚
I went with XI this week (using my 2 FTs, was planned like that) as I'm happy to play a few SGW in 36 and because you never know what can happen in the meantime (injuries, etc...)

I have 8 to.....dont see the point in getting rid of Demps etc to buy him at a bigger price and wrecking a team just for the sake of one game when a DGW is coming up.
