The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the midweek Premier League action

Gameweek 20 kicks off today so we are turning to the odds provided by our official sportsbook partner, bet365, to take a few modest punts on the forthcoming Premier League action.

As ever, we urge you to gamble responsibly and always remember: when the fun stops, stop.

The Fantasy Flutter: Betting odds on the weekend’s Premier League action 2

Happiness is a Warm Gün

West Bromwich Albion have conceded 13 goals across their last four Premier League matches and now have to face Manchester City, who have not given up a Premier League goal since Gameweek 17.

If you fancy Guardiola’s men to win 3-0 or 4-0 you can get odds of 13/2 and 10/1 respectively.

Meanwhile, Ilkay Gündogan has been the Citizens top shooter in the box, recipient of big chances and shots on target since Gameweek 13.

Therefore, odds of 13/2 for him to open the scoring and 7/4 anytime are worth considering.

2 Goals Ahead Early Payout Offer

Get your single bets paid out if the team you back goes 2 goals ahead – for multiple bets the selection will be marked as a winner.

Applies to pre-match bets on the standard Full Time Result market for selected competitions. Bet restrictions and T&Cs apply. New and eligible customers only.

HAMMER BLOW

Crystal Palace’s loss of James Tomkins to injury is good news for Michail Antonio.

The centre-back has been a key element of the Eagles’ recent upturn in defensive form.

With goals in each of his two starts since coming back from injury odds of 5/1 to get the first goal at Selhurst Park and 7/4 to net anytime are certainly appealing.

Also, over the last four matches, only Manchester City have a superior expected goals conceded (xGC) figure than West Ham, so you could consider selecting the Hammers for the result and No for both teams to score at 11/4.

Each Way First Goalscorers

Place an Each Way First Goalscorer bet on any Soccer match.

If your player scores at any time during the game in 90 minutes play, we will pay you out at 1/3 odds for unlimited places.

TUESDAY BLUES

Chelsea’s players may up their game for the visit of Wolves following recent developments at the club.

Tammy Abraham has hit form at the right time with his hat-trick in the FA Cup and is 15/4 to get the first goal against Wolves and 11/1 to net anytime.

Neither side has been defensively resolute of late so odds of 13/5 for Chelsea and Yes for Both Teams to Score looks appealing.

Bore Draw Money Back

    Play 1 GK:
    1) Martinez
    2) Pope?

Play 2 (with at least 1 of A-C):
    A) Coufal
    B) Robbo
    C) Zouma
    D) Raphinha
    E) Soucek?

Can we trust Cancelo on a DGW? City have so many of those coming up and it's a coin toss between Cancelo and Gundogan for me for the 3rd spot.

Probably not, but still potential to get 8-10 points in the 1 game he does play. Should have 2 City defenders to cover this.

Im leaning towards Cancelo myself. Weighing up the pros and cons. cant shake the thought that Gundo will play deeper

My point is I don’t see gundo roll changing - but tough to separate them, both great options- depends on the set up I guess

It’s a close call. Cancelo looks great.
      Gundo on pens.

Dias and Stones like most people. I'll most probably get Gundo for now as it's a straight swap from KdB and I won't need to take a hit either.

I’d go Gundo or Foden if your brave then.
Imo 3 City defenders is risky because of COVID postponements.
3 defenders wiped out in one go means only 10 playing for a gameweek.

Had to bench him over Grealish, Bamford as he was most uncertain to play

Cant decide on the order of my transfers.

    Martinez
Stones • Cancelo • Coufal --- Dallas Taylor
    Bruno • Salah • Kdb • Rashford -- Burke
    Bamford • Antonio • Wilson

    A: Kdb >> Son. Then Rashford/Wilson >> Gundogen/Kane (-4) in gw21.
    B: Kdb >> Son. Then Rashford/Wilson >> Sterling in gw21
    C: Kdb >> Gundogen. Then Rashford/Wilson >> Son/Kane (-4) in gw21

Ideally would make sense to get Gundogen in 20 and then Son in gw21 based on fixtures but getting Son in 20 allows me to assess next gw whether i want gundogen/sterling or any other mid

I’d bench Foufal and play Dallas.....the Newcastle match has double figures written all over it

    0.0 ITB 1 ft
    McCarthy
    Dallas Justin Stones
    Soucek Bruno(c) Salah Son Raphinha
    Antonio Bamford

    Johnstone Zouma Taylor Vardy

Should I start Zouma over someone or do you see any transfers I should make?

Would you take a -4 to get a extra city def in or Gundo?
My plan is otherwise to save a ft and go Vardy>Kane, Taylor/Zouma to someone next gw

I wouldn’t with your team. Save.

    (A) Justin + Grealish
    (B) Mitchell + Son

    Choose one.
Having Kane. No Villa attackers. Both Justin or Mitchell will be benched.

Grealish may take penalty kick now and Justin for gw21 & 22 tempts me.

Have a feeling this could be Cavani's week. Anyone thinking of bringing him in?

Considered Wilson-->Cavani, but it's not long term enough to justify a hit for me.

Wait and see. Too early. Ofc both are decent options but you never know, something might happen and make your decision for you.

Bench one from Dallas, Konsa, Coufal? I’m already starting Martinez and on Dallas and Konsa currently for the double up against Burnley.

probably Dallas, but Konsa since he has little attacking threat. Close.
