The 2022/23 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season is almost upon us, with Arsenal visiting Crystal Palace in tonight’s big kick-off.

As a result, the questions on team drafts, specific players, captaincy picks and differentials are coming thick and fast in the comments section, so we’ve asked five-time top 1k finisher and Scout’s Deputy Editor, Tom Freeman, to answer some of your conundrums over the next 60 minutes.

He’ll be on hand to first reply to requests from Premium Members in the Hot Topic below the line of this piece and will get through as many as he can until the next article goes up.

If there’s time, Tom will also turn his attention to other requests in the comments section.

As ever, you can chip in with your own opinions on the raft of RMT requests filtering through – and naturally, feel free to ignore the article subject matter and talk about any other wider FPL topics that you’d normally be musing on.

      I'm on A, with Haaland over Kane. Don't like to book that transfer 🙂 And I honestly see both James and Diaz as more explosive (higher ceiling) than Robbo and Mount respectively

      I have the exact same predicament - leaning towards taking a punt on benching Martinelli. Not sure about the attacking returns away to Palace. Also feel like if you have Neto in your team, first two games are both reasons to start him.

        Should be. Very little competition.
        First few weeks at least. Coleman's getting on a bit these days.

        But, and it's a big but, this Everton team are awful. I'd steer clear until Lampard's been sacked.

          I’ve gone to offset that with the premium keeper which doubles with cancelo considering the fixtures

          And the Liverpool double

          Considering the plenty of bargain options at the back and in goal, I’m banking on “certain” points and using that 1tb to eventually bring in a slightly more premium midfielder replacing martinelli

            I get the point. My draft is quit similar, although I've gone for Diaz for my 3rd Liverpool-asset (instead og Neto in mid) and Perisic/Trippier instead of Robbo. My thinking is, that I don't really like the look of the 6.0-7.5m mids of right now, though Rashford/Sancho could emerge.
