Sky Sports Bring Fantasy Football Back To Our Screens

Fantasy Football is returning to our Friday night TV courtesy of a new show – The Fantasy Football Club.

We’re delighted to be amongst the first to announce the news that Sky Sports are launching a weekly show on Friday nights from 10-11pm, hosted by “Fenners” (pictured above) and Paul Merson.

The first episode will go out live on August 17 on Sky Sports HD and will mark the return of Fantasy Football to a TV audience following the demise of Baddiel and Skinner’s Fantasy Football League way back in 1996.

The Fantasy Football Club will feature celebrity guests each week, with analysis of their Fantasy lineups and the key Fantasy Football topics amongst the discussion. No really, we’ve been promised.

The Sky Sports’ own Fantasy Football game will, not surprisingly, feature throughout with a focus on the leaders and top teams. Fantasy Football Scout are supporting the game with our own league this season – details on how to join our league can be found below.

We’ll also be getting exclusive access to the team behind The Fantasy Football Club prior to the first airing, with more details to come before the August 17 kick-off. In the meantime, you might want to follow the show on Twitter right here.

And no, before you ask, I’m not the new “Statto”.

      MF - I think Yaya is a better prospect than most do...he does get forward more than you think. However, you might want downgrade Walcott to bring in someone more attacking than Yaya.
      ATT - have the same front 3 (you got £2m to upgrade to Rooney or not?)

      Friedel and Rafael in for Vertongen and DDG. Think DDG will be rotated like last season and will get probably 25 starts. Rafael is nailed on with Smalling out and Jones covering CB.
      Upgrade Gutherie to a 5m, maybe Maloney, plays kind of OOP and he finished last season on great form.
      Yaya out for Bale, Spurs have a nice start and Aguero is enough Coty coverage.

          i agree we lack top quality in the final third but wenger's still trying to add to the squad and im sure he will find a solution.

          as for the rest of the team, i think wenger needs to add one or two full backs but can't see anything else to suggest that we'll finish outside the top 4.

          tbh, i can't see liverpool or tot finishing above us. simple as that

            Arsenal is a tad better because you have Wenger, but Tott and Liv not far behind. If you get Sahin that would help a lot. If you manage to create chances than Podolski and Giroud are good enough to put them away.

      Kagawa > Sessegnon. I wouldnt worry about the likes of walker, bae, cisse and jelly atm. You may miss aguero and possibly dempsey, but what you have to remember is you can have everyone. As longs as you have a team that you will score well thats all that matters.
