The Netherlands and Argentina meet at the Lusail Iconic Stadium in the second FIFA World Cup 2022 quarter-final to take place today.

The winners of this tie will play Croatia in the semi-finals after Luka Modric and co. dumped out Brazil on penalties in Friday’s first game.

As for the team news, it’s one change apiece.

The rotation continues up top for the Dutch as Steven Bergwijn comes in for Davy Klaassen.

Argentina’s change is a defensive one, by comparison, as Papu Gomez is replaced by Manchester United’s Lisandro Martinez.

Angel Di Maria and Lautaro Martinez are again on the bench.

  There is or at least was possibility to avoid these issues by not putting too many eggs to same basket. I at least can ditch Dummy, but Otamendi dropping 7 pts to -1 basically in ten minutes was even more annoying.

Already got 5 Brazil and 2 Dutch players to deal with and 2 transfers this MD and 5 in semifinals to deal with this- but don’t mind hit -would you use a transfer on

A Hernandez to Guerreiro or Dalot (depending on who starts)
B Shaw to Guerreiro or Dalot ( again subject to start)

  Tough call. I’m the same with Theo and Shaw - plan was both out for the two Portugal wingbacks.
  Only 4x Brazil to ship for me so still might do it.
  Given the final four play for two MDs in a row I think we can afford to be aggressive now.

  I wanted to transfer Shaw for Guerreiro but ended up transferring him for Acuna cuz I wanted to bring in Costa as well and needed the $$, so far so good, we'll see how it goes tomorrow with Costa. At this point I'll prob miss out on another portugal player. I have 3 transfers left and need to get rid of 3 Brazilians and also Acuna who now can't play next rd lol so looks like I'm stuck with what I got. We'll see how Shaw does, I would stick with Hernandez tho if I were you.

Despite the name, I could care less about the Croatian team. This being said, I'm curious as to whether the keeper stats are down to good defense or poor attack... who crunched the numbers?
