Not at all. I think triple Brighton is a must for the remainder of the season given their form and extra fixtures.

The fact that their midfielders are so cheap just adds to the appeal.

Here's the thing about Haaland...he's played in 16 games this year and scored 15 goals but 13 of those goals have been scored against diddy teams. He's failed against Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle in that time so I'm quite happy not to have him in my team against Liverpool, who for all their faults this season, are nobody's mugs.

That's the logic right there. Plus Shaw has more attacking threat, and even if Utd do concede without Casemiro, at least he's in place for EVE, DGW34 etc

I also have Raya and don't think double BRE defence is optimal for gw29.

Despite they’ve been poor all season, I’m looking at a West Ham DF. Nice double in GW29 and Bournemouth (a) in BGW32

Rashford, Brighton mid, Maddison would be my top 3 capt picks (of the players I own).

I haven't decided yet but my shortlist is essentially the 4 mentioned above. Maybe cooling on Maddison a bit

Probably a net gain over the rest of the season, (given those players extra/kinder fixtures), although Arsenal's fixture is good this week so it could take 2-3 gw's for the gains to materialise depending on results.

I'm actually coming round to the idea of selling Saka over Martinelli as it enables me to get a far superior-looking team for the rest of the season taking the remaining doubles into account.

Why not play your TC this week and BB 34 after your wildcard? Basically avoids a -8 by switching the chips around

You go Havertz if you're not going to FH in 32.
You go Kane if you think you can use the funds well in the rest of the team.
Otherwise you go Watkins or Havertz based on which one you personally rate better.

Obviously, it’s still a waiting game, and if it turns out that Haaland and Rashford in the team, that’s a solid BB. You don’t really need double game week players on your bench… just good players that you would normally start, and certainly 3 Arsenal fit that bill well.

Regarding Steele, I think if you can take out a player who is getting zero minutes for a player who is getting 2 games, that’s worth the hit all day. Will Steele get two games is the bigger question. Sanchez got a start in the cup, so it’s more uncertain now in my opinion.

I do think it’s a risk, yes. For me, I’ll be moving Toney back to Haaland in 30, if (and its a big if) he is passed fit. It’s definitely a wait and see situation at this point.

Yes. Not that it's necessarily a bad idea to take the risk if his fitness is still questionable, but those are soft fixtures & if he does start both you know what can happen.

How long are you expecting to hold Toney with 9 YC & a hearing next month?

Definitely a risk, but most decisions in this game are. He'd be in my team over any one of them if that answers your question.

I'm going without him in gw29, but he's straight back in the week after (if fit).

I don't like captaincy options in gw30 and Haaland has the standout fixture (unless you risk going with Rashford in the early game).

Yeah I'll have a very similar team. My 4 FTs (FH32) could be: Toney - Haaland, Havertz - Darwin, Maddison - Salah, Saka - Foden/Bruno. Which would give:

Salah Rashford March Mitoma Bruno/Foden
Haaland Darwin

Foden could be a nice pick if he plays both games in the double.
