After 3 weeks of big red arrows what changes you make to at least give this team a green arrow this GW (however small!)

    Leno Areola

    Andersen Kabore Cash Udogie Tsimikas

    Salah Maddison Martinelli Palmer Ward-Prowse

    Haaland Watkins Alvarez

    1FT No WC 0.1 ITB

    Any ideas would be welcomed

Southgate on Saka, Maddison and Wilson: "I couldn't be certain that everybody who's in that squad will be there on Sunday. Varying levels of doubt. I would say Callum Wilson is the biggest doubt. I'm pretty confident the others can get through & they are keen to be in the squad."

    Last man standing at work.

Need to pick outright winner for this week.

Goss up for me between Man Utd, Arsenal or Brighton. Brighton is the most popular pick.

    What do you think?

Arsenal for me. Can understand people going for Brighton given the fixture, but lots of injuries, no win in 5 PL games and dwindling xG is worrying. Don't feel very confident backing them

Reguilon has also been poor. Wouldn't be surprised to see Lindelof used there again.

Left back has been a huge issue this season. Ten Hag says he's hopeful Shaw is back after the international break though, so fingers crossed. Need Malacia fit too...

He(Reguilon) hasn't been directly involved in 2 or 3 goals that lead to MI concede though... Dalot has. Lot of that has to do with him probably being fatigued and poor.

What do do with this mess.? With Spurs down to the bones defensively, at CB's who come in with Dier?

Is Spur's defence a target? Do I now keep Haaland?

    Johnstone (Turner)
    Cash, Saliba Tsimikas, (Porro, Kabore)
Salah (C) Saka, Son, Diaby, (Adringa)
    Pedro, Alvarez, Haaland.

    (I assume Nketiah is out)
    Adringa and Pedro 50/50 atm

    2. Porro to Lascelles
    3. 2 and Alvarez to Watkins -4 (for the next 3 games)
    4. Alverez to Nketiah is fit?
    5. Haaland to Watkins, Porro to Trippier -4
    6. Haaland to Watkins and Pedro to Darwin -4, (forget Brighton rotation altogether, been a ball ache all season, and have been crap since GW4)

Think I'd leave the defence for now and too much doubt over Nketiah currently.

Certainly Spurs' defensive issues take some of the shine off losing Haaland, but I do still think Watkins & Darwin will outscore (uncapped) Haaland & Pedro/Adingra over the next 4

Not for me. Fulham have looked decent recently and never sure which Watkins turns up.

Palhinha especially has looked unplayable the last few games. His goal against Brighton was class: https://youtu.be/gXNw59ePPAI?feature=shared

True. But Watkins blanked at home to Luton, no game is a banker with Watkins.

Heavily skewed by the City game without Palhinha I think. With him back they've settled into the familiar pattern of virtually never conceding more than 2 goals.

Also kind of agree with Piggs on Watkins - his inconsistency makes him too high variance for captaincy imo

Oh yeah i wouldn't captain him, i dont look into data thats the problem, i am worried with Alvertz/Pedro on my front line rather than Archer/Watkins, but a -4 hot simly isnt worth it (but is it with a depleted Spurs defence GW13, and Bournemouth the following week), although Brighton do have Sheff Utd, just sick off Pedro rotation playing in Europe all the time lol

Just a kick on the ankle. The way Arteta was talking about it, I got the impression he thought Saka should have just played on.

“There's contact in football and obviously for the wingers who want to take people on this is going to happen. At the end he wasn't comfortable to carry on, hopefully it's not too much but I'm really pleased with his performance. It was just a kick and I was told by the physios on the radio he wasn't happy to continue. So he will have some discomfort but hopefully I am going to assume he will be OK.”

      I think he's fine.

Muhammed Henderson has been picked again by Southgate.

I can't believe he didn't pick Cool J Palmer instead.

Southgate is ruining this team. Again, no title for Kane.

Apparently he is too injured for England, so would be surprise.

I consider bringing Trossard in if confirmed for Arse as well.

Saka was picked for the England squad last time and after they assessed him, he was sent home.

Apparently Arteta has told Martinelli and Saka to be more direct.

"This week especially, Arteta has asked to me and to Bukayo to be more direct and told us to believe more in ourselves. Today it worked out!" - Martinelli
